(MX5 user) Dual IRs and cabs as well, you can also use it as a line driver if you want, FX send to bass amp, Main out mono (set as line level in global settings) to PA. Or, if rigging up parallel chains like in this demo, pan L/R and use both main outs, one to amp, one to PA via DI
Thanks guys.. I like the tonality of this unit. It is hard to explain. It kind of reminds me of the old Ensoniq effects like the DP4. As a bassplayer I wonder how this compares to a HX Stomp. I know the HX has more bass amps but by using parallel processing you can use guitar amps mixed with a clean channel to good effect.
HEADRUSH is way better than people think.... Not only do you have a ton of options, but its extremely user friendly and intuitive. They release updates frequently to add more effects, amps and cabs. You can also download and add different IR's of your choosing. Have a friend who has an Axe FX, and he couldnt believe the tone that the Headrush produced.
Well dang. Now I want one. Question is should I pay off my Darkglass head first haha. I like the way you guys attacked the video. Straight forward and had a sense of discovery. How many people first messing with this would react.
@@TSFAHTPS a lot of times when a review is done by someone with a bunch of experience with an item like this, it can seem confusing and intimidating to someone new to processors. Seeing someone fumble and explore the unit and seemingly make it work easily is great
Bass players, I’m new to the Headrush Gigboard and I’m struggling to get the sounds I want with any of the bass amps (Fender Bassman, Ampeg Flip Top, Ampeg SVT/SVT Scoop, and GK). My problem is that all of the amps using just their default settings sounds distorted and gritty via headphones and external amp. Anyone else experience this? I play in several bands spanning several genre’s. I’m trying to get the warm country & classic rock tones from the 70’s while using my stock American PBass-5. Any help or guidance is much appreciated.
Steve Harris, one of the most successful bassists of all time, had been described as having a baby soft touch. It's even been compared to how you'd tap your fingers on a desk while waiting.
