I'm so glad you've had each other to process through this together. So much easier than having to explain...you just understand. I'm still processing through mine and I have days where I still think I'm the one in the wrong and should apologize for leaving. But the fruit says it all, so I have to believe that.

Thank you both for this. I still carry a lot of shame and sadness from donating $ and getting rooms during the walk. I was not there but watched everyday and fell victim to it as well. I'm ashamed that my heart and good intentions were taken advantage of. I would like to say, I definitely could tell you both were not part of the deception. Hugs to you both.

Thank you for your prayers! And he responded in a narcissistic way as per usual saying how he wish he had the privilege to leave, but the "movement" needed him and he couldn't take a break. But he ultimately had to let us go
