My former boyfriend who I almost got married to and even planned a baby girl with flipped when the baby arrived. 3 months after the break up he started dating someone else and even moved in with her. People kept asking me if I am dating and I kept telling them I will not date just because he moved on very fast I will take my time to properly heal and prepare myself for another man who will be totally different from him and do things differently. It's almost 2 years now and I am making sure that I take my time and heal properly before I date someone else.
This is my story... we had a baby... he did a 360 on me when she was 2/3 months old. i didn’t even have the luxury of 3 months. He was already in a situation with someone towards the end. I’m still single, healing and working on trusting again as I struggle to see how I can get involved with someone at that level again. It will take me a long time to get there. I’m married to my life’s purpose now. But grateful for the heartbreak and disappointment. It has grown me in ways I could never imagine. And has taught me and owning my happiness.
I'm yet to watch a boring video from you guys and I suspect there will never be one because we love you guys so much. Nozi when I get into another serious relationship I hope to be with someone who has your spirit, intelligence and honesty to name just three things. When Bhut' Skhu spoke about taking ownership when you've wronged others in order to fix yourself and not repeat the same mistake moving forward. At times, if not most, we drag the toxins from past relationships into a new relationship and speaking from my own frame of reference mna ndangena kwi relationship with all my walls up thinking if I don't protect myself this time around no one will. The problem with that is I never took ownership for my role on how the relationship ended. Thanks again family for the vital and sound advice!
