Ragi, the Ramadhanyam We all know that Lord Rama was a Great ruler. His rule was praised by all as “Rama Rajya.” Here is an interesting story to illustrate his Justice. Once, two food grains, rice and ragi met each other. As they were speaking there arose an argument between the two. Rice is consumed by affluent people, and ragi is consumed by the poor people. Hence rice boasted that rice is superior to ragi. But, ragi’s contention was that it is more nutritious than rice, hence it is superior to rice. They both went before Lord Rama to argue their case and establish their superiority. After hearing both, Lord Rama ordered them to be put in prison for six months. At the end of the period, he ordered both the food grains to be brought before Him. Rice was rotten by that time, while the hardy ragi survived. Rama blessed ragi, and from that day onwards ragi is known as RAMADHANYAM. Saint KANAKADASA uses the above metaphor in his RAMADHANYA CHARITRE. Rice represents the socially powerful people, and, ragi represents the working people. He emphasized social equality through his poetical works. ರಾಗಿ 🙏

@jyothiravishankar8354 hi can we do this with sprouted raagi and wheat just to increase nutritional value? Also is drying the milk is necessary? Can we use the freshly extracted milk too and use it by boiling and turning it dense?plz guide
@@vidishasrivastava3204 You can use sprouted ones too. I have heard someone saying that to me. But you cannot boil it. The texture will change. You can directly use it without drying. Fresh Ragi milk will taste great too. My grandma used to do it in summer. She used to add the fresh squeezed milk with jaggery and it tastes yummy.

You worked hardly for this healthy drink, My suggestion:Please try to take patent for this healthy drink We are doing from ragi Another type for infant kids, with in 18 months But this is different This healthy drink can be used for infants kids (ಒಂದೂವರೆ ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಪೇಟೆಂಟ್ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ತಾಯಿ ಹಾಲಿನ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಈ ರಾಗಿಯ ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ,) We grown our children by giving this Raagi Milk & Raagi sari Thank you Kamaleshwari
