@anxietyprime2351 I don't remember lol but I still meal prep every week so I formed a habit which is the most important thing. I seem to be holding my weight too which is nice.
That is insane. It is more food than I eat in 2 weeks. I needed a meal prep for 30 days. I am old, blind, don't worry I can cook I was trained at the school for the blind, and cheap. My husband passed away 3 years ago. And honestly I have been having a hard time cooking for just 1. I will make this and freeze it. Then repeat each week. Thank you. Lots of great tips for an old woman in there.
For the mashing of the ingredients, I recommend a simple potato masher, much easier and you don't have to be annoyed by the meat sticking to the inside.
Ex gym rat here haven’t hit the gym in years because life got in the way you know kids , spouse , house , work, bills . But finally in a good place to get back in shape came on here cause I usually laugh at people who try to give miracle advice but you man… you actually Know your stuff I’m Impressed! You didn’t lie you were very honest, you didn’t come off as an ass or pushy you got my subscription best of luck to you man hope the best.
I think you could replace the cacao with chocolate protein powder. Sure, it might add a few calories (depending on how much you use) but for some extra protein I think its well worth it as it also adds up to the over all taste.
This is EXACTLY what i’ve been looking for. Wasn’t sure exactly how to plan all my meals ahead but this was perfect. Thanks so much!!!!! Please make more of these, i need as many meal types as possible!
I love how I keep it so simple and budget friendly, and u still got ur gains ,not like others that claim it’s simple and budget friendly and it’s not . Totally going to subscribe
My cheap meal for about $2 per meal is 2 pounds of ground beef on sale, 3 cans of black beans on sale, 3 cans of dice tomatoes with chiles on sale, one onion, Brown the ground beef and onions, then add the other canned ingredients. Let simmer. Serve over rice or tortilla chips with grated cheese. Look for this stuff when it is on sale. I make about 6 meals out of this for around $12
Yoo!! Finally started hitting the gym again and I’ve been watching your videos and taking meal ideas from all of your “I ate like…” videos. Thank you for all you do and keep up the great videos 💪🏻
2 tbsp PBfit powder in stead of peanut butter would save 120 calories. Everything else is on point. I recently started doing chicken thighs instead of breast. Game changer.
@@pcharm3711 the PB Fit powder I mainly use on Top of Apple Cinnamon rice cakes. I tried it in oatmeal but I prefer mine with cinnamon and a little honey. The thighs i make in a slow cooker. Makes them super tender.
Nice work. I swapped out ground hamburger meat for ground turkey a little under a yr ago. TBH when its seasoned right you really cannot tell the difference.
Bro this video couldn’t have come at a better time!! About to move out and be on my own soon, while going to the gym, and the amount of food that this brings is incredible!!
Thanks for the great vid this can apply for so many people in different scenarios. Weight loss, people on the go, cutting phase, I’m sure there are others, and like you said you can add and subtract spices and vegetables for individual taste. Can’t beat to price and nutritional benefit. I’m going to start this shortly.
Okay so I tried the overnight oats you had and mine turned out gross 🤣, now I wasn't able to find the Hershey cocoa powder, I had to use an organic cocoa powder and not a fan of the Greek yogurt but the rest was good 👍
Pro tip , almost every grocery store has price cuts on meats. When it’s close to not being able to sell . Don’t be scared of it it’s plenty good it’s just not to there selling standard ! You can save a bundle
Hi Aseel, so how do you store meal prepped meals? Do you freeze them after they cool down? Or are you safe to just refrigerate the food? I am mainly concerned about the meat going bad, so how do you store the meals? I am looking to only meal prep lunches for work but still want to store food safely!! Thank youuu😊
Love your videos mate, very insightful and very helpful and I also like your personality too, you come across as a great guy, one of the good guys. Keep up the grind mate love from England 👊
Great video! But also, my mind was blown by how you just sliced that ground turkey wrapper, whilst I've been struggling all these years from cutting the end of those things then squeezing them out 🥲😆
Is it budget? Wah! Cooking Oil spray is budget. Use economy pack cooking oil 1kg. Bell Pepper in our area is expensive. We use other leaf vegetables. Mix stir fried vegetables (1 serving), I use 1. 3 Nos fresh shitake (slices) 2. I Tube Celery cut french fries 3. Few leaf greens (choy sum) 4. Pan stir fried press egg plant de-skin (cut french fries) Stir fried seasoning (oyster sauce 1tbsp, 0.5 tsp sugar, 2 tbsp light soy sauce. Little water.
I’m following this meal prep for 2023. Is awesome and great instrumental through the video for ingredients and what to use. Can you do a meal prep vid for 2023 since food is off the wall now a days.
Not only would storage be a problem (we don't have massive refrigerators as a rule here in the UK) Plus, who wants to eat the same meal every day for 5 days?
man this video was really informative great job! i think you could try and work on whoever was filming your videos to try and work on the steadiness and the "cinematic" shots, lot of the times if not most of the video it was blurry and out of focus, it was actually distracting from yoir great advice! just a suggestion tho, have a good one!
Good stuff, I think the macros are off a bit, I could not find anywhere that shows 44gms of protein in only 6oz of chicken thighs. Otherwise, the set up is nice!
I'm going to be moving in with my girlfriend in a few years, to make sure we can eat healthily and constantly on a budget this will be very helpful, thank you.
I'm going to try this meal prep only thing I can think of adding is trying honey with the ground turkey and rice. Sounds crazy but don't knock it till you try it.
I just moved to Michigan and discovered your video. Im definitely going to cook this. Thanks. Please make more recipes as I get bored for the same thing 5 days a week. Thank you
This was really good ! I just have two questions. One the dinner portioning keeps you full through the evening? The serving of protein seems small although. Also I have never really used whey protein before but, is there a preferred time frame to use it? Thankyou in advance!
Loving the recipes just starting the health journey feel this is gonna help alot, also do anyone know if its best to store these meals in the Fridge or freezer?and for how long before it goes bad?
the whole week, 5 different containers for 5 different days of the week and then weekend you would want to regulate your meals to not be like a super cheat day.
About to get into meal prepping here so I appreciate the video. So that makes me curious as to how often one should switch their meals to not get tired of eating the same thing? 🤔
Excellent video my good sir. This makes me realize how terribly I am treating myself by not eating better and spending less. I just got into a gym membership so I need to change my mentality. However, please do not use metal utensils on your pans. You are scraping the coating off and into your food and into your body. You seem health conscious so I figured… peace. 😊
Just starting my journey, I went to the store and bought different things (low calories) and I feel like it’s going to be a hard couple of weeks, but next time I’m buying this! Way better food and for less too? Wish I watched this video before
Jennie-O allows bone in their ground meat. A piece of bone broke a crown I had and cost me $700 to repair. Their response was to send me a $5 coupon. Keep that in mind. If you want to use them, GO THROUGH THE MEAT BEFORE EATING IT.
Love Publix! I used to work there! But now I live in midwest!! Great video I'm going to try this! I hate cooking but looks simple! I usually just eat rice, Boiled veggies and frozen chicken or lots of pasta!
Man I hate myself rn, currently on vacation and everything I wear makes me look like a ball, feel bloated, have a beard to cover face fat, smh, I need to get on this , thank you for this video
