This video gives a full day meal plan for diabetics and weight watchers too. We try to avoid carbs in the form of white rice and substitute with foods such as brown rice and those with low Glycemic index. Care has been taken to include fibre rich foods and ensure the consumption of proteins and low carb also keeping in mind the need to feel satisfied.,while controlling blood sugar levels.We have planned it in such a way so that it remains close to our regular food ., including fresh vegetables and fruits too.More videos with diet plans including millets will follow.
Early morning 6 a.m
Methi seeds/Fenugreek soaked in water
Breakfast 8a.m
Split green moong dosa
Kaara chutney with tomato and onion
Midmorning 11a.m
Sukkumalli Kaapi Herbal Immunity booster drink
Lunch 12.30.
Brown rice (hand pounded)
Okra/Bhindi dry sabji/Vendakai Curry
Raw banana dry sabji/Vazhakai curry
Vegetable Sambar
Dal Rasam with Pudina/Mint
Low fat curd
Evening 5p.m
Fruit Guava
Dinner
Curd Oats
Veg Salad
