This is exactly like church though, there's bo evidence for her beliefs, they are beliefs. This lady believes that we are soul beings that reincarnate into different humans. That's just like a Christian pastor saying that we all come from Adam it is a belief and it is not supported by evidence. You're just hearing what you want to hear that's why you like Teal so much. You know what I’m realizing more and more?....those “primitive” tribes in Africa and South America who go about mostly naked and live off the land are the most spiritually healthy and grounded humans on the planet.
This helped me realize that me not being sexually active since 2011 was actually my healing process and not me being celibate. About two months ago this 7 year long period ended and now I view sexuality in a whole different light. There is no more shame in me. Thank you Teal, as always! 😘

I want to live in a world where my sexuality and my thoughts of being naked inside my house or in a forest, do not get treated like I'm some pervert. Being naked is so god damn good and I feel so free while doing it. I didn't love my body the way it was and that only changed because I accepted me and my desires. One thing I find complicated is to live in a place full of people who think that is a shame or a perversion to be who I am. In the other hand, I'm grateful that I'm having "lucky" finding women that are on the same path as me when it comes to have sex healing. Namaste!
Just wonderful. I do have to share one thought with you, and it is that I really love this idea, but the reason I become suspicious of other people who are like this is because they might "innocently" say they're like this and then use it against me. Like, pushing boundaries with this as a tool and then the naked person would be trying to molest me or something. The thing itself is good. It's just what people might do with it as a tool that makes me want to save myself from anything bad happening. And this is something I really am tired of, not being relaxed and trusting, because people have done these kinds of things before, they use the situation to their benefit. I just wish that I could go out in the world and trust what everyone are saying and that everyone were innocently genuine. That's my dream. So I'm sad about this. Just wanted to share this. As.the other commenter suggested ("not in the West"), it is true that as I've traveled among multiple European countries I realized that nudity there is much less frowned upon/sexualized/taboo, especially at the beach. It was so refreshing to be exposed to progressive , accepting, and honestly mature/developed cultures where people of all shapes and sizes can feel safe, accepted, and natural without becoming a spectacle.
Shame has been a long-running theme in my life too so I can relate. I encourage you to embrace your sexuality because you are perfect and worthy of love just as you are. 💜 No one can know this for you or decide what is right for you. What really blows my mind is that one of the many reasons I left religion was because of its strictness around sex, but I was still a spiritual person so then I eventually come into a bit of the new age type stuff and long and behold the anti sex messages are still there as well. All that changed was the story, instead of it being a bearded old man telling you sex is bad it is now instead gurus telling you that you won't reach enlightenment if you indulge in your lower animal natures. I have listened to so many spiritual type people with so many positive messages but then always like clockwork when it comes to sex the vast majority loose the plot. Sex really does seem to be the end all be all when it comes to ignorance, shame and control. It really does boggle the mind, but even with how open I am about sex I to even still find my self struggling sometimes with residual shame or doubt that maybe I am holding my self back spiritually in some way. That just goes to show you how deeply rooted this anti sex programming goes. And dear god I can imagine how hard it must be for really religious folks considering I know first hand how all that goes. My heart is honestly broken for those people still trapped inside their false shame, not to mention the majority of my pretty religiously conservative family who I just know must be so balled up inside that god knows how much negative energy is eating away at them. It really is tragic. But at least I feel some comfort in knowing that should I ever have a family of my own I will finally be one of if not the first one to break the cycle of passing down this cursed sexual shame. Honestly if thats all I ever accomplish in my life then I can die/reincarnate/what ever happens happy.
Omfg, i needed this so much. Thank you, dear Teal. I grew up with the concept that sex is dangerous, sinfull, dirty and even not enjoyable, because my mother felt this way. Naturally, when i grew up I started experimenting and having this hudge desire to try new things, in all areas of my life, especially sexually and emotionaly. And so i did while i was descovering also my own spuritual nature. I recently descovered that I have a sexual desease, even if i was obsessed with protection (maybe because i was obsessed with protection, i don t know anymore) ,so for the moment the emotional response is to reject sex on a subconscious level. Because i feel no desire whatsoever, and that's so unlike me....I do not desire it, i feel no urge for phisical conection anymore, not even for exploring my own body. I even realised i was using my sexuality to manipulate others and myself, to run away from. my own feelings....You made me realise just now that this might be part of the journey.

I agree, sex for me is an ever changing thing. Even how I think of it, imagine it, etc. In recent years, my ideas & beliefs have gone through major upheavals. ~ I have no idea what I want from sex, except that I don’t feel inspired to be somebody’s object. As a 31 year old gay man I am sad to say I have NEVER found another guy who wanted to have sex with me from "a place of love". I have sought to find that someone for the last 10 years but never have. I used to try to be the kind of lover I was hoping to find (since like attracts like...allegedly!), until one guy I was dating told me my problem was that "I try to make love to everyone I have sex with"...as if that was some kind of failing or negative. Unfortunately it seems his attitude is very commonplace. I honestly now believe that being spiritual and being a gay man (who is not permanently single or unwillingly celibate) are incompatible. Most men my age seem utterly ignorant and disinterested in anything more than a casual emotionally detached fling. This has left me heartbroken and depressed. I find myself completley alone in the world because I do not fit in with hetero-normative society, nor do I fit in or related to gay "culture".. I am lost and alone, an outcast.

:( i am just realising recently how much i have suffered so much because of this shame. i think it has supressed most of my sexuality. in my household growing up, sex and nudity was never discussed and i got hardly any sex education. my automatic reaction is to cringe anytime my friends talk about it. i only just learned about the different parts of female genitals and where they are because i have a skin issue down there. i had to google it. i'm 26 and i feel so behind. i was body shamed occasionally by my parents growing up but since living away from them i have at least grown to appreciate the shape of my body as a female - it wasn't always that way, even by the end of puberty i still wished i had the shape of a boy, or a child. i still have a long way to go.

It feels healthy to me at this point to not have any sex at all. Too many times in my life I had unconsensual sex. At the same time another part of me is so sad because I will probably loose my boyfriend. Closeness with people right now is what I crave so badly for!! And who wants a sexless woman?! :(

I not consider myself asexual. But oftentimes I think if I found a partner who completely meets my emotional, intelectual, and spiritual needs, i would consider give up on sex to be with her.
We've all had different experiences in life, and we're all at different points along our paths. Sometimes the paths last a long time, curving and winding to strange places. Sometimes our paths intersect with the paths of others, for a while, or a long time. Sometimes those others share our destinations, and other times they share only a segment of the journey. Some destinations are better than others, and some paths to those destinations are better than others--and some are much better than others, and some are much worse than others. And all this goes for everything I know of in life, including sex. We can't always be what others want us to be, nor should we always try, and sometimes we realize that we aren't right for others, or they aren't for us. But trying to understand ourselves and the others around us, and most importantly, caring about their needs and our needs, can help us better find the things that are most worthwhile.
Brilliant way of stating (as usual). Even among spiritual friends and yoga teachers, people are so often to force advice on others to what their healthy sexuality should look like. We have to use tools to find what is right for us, and then lovers in alignment with that.
I've always been a virgin. Women have always treated me like something repellent, so I've naturally "shut down" any form of reaction to the flirting/admiration of women. A work colleague took it upon herself to adjust my collar, and I just freaking froze. I don't think I have hapephobia, but close to it. I just react to touch as if the other person is a large spider.....
John M: Perhaps those women---who have always treated you as though they were repelled by you---were mirroring back to you your own judgment(s) and/or shame toward self of being a virgin. There's nothing negative, wrong or bad about being a virgin. Maybe it will be helpful to ask yourself why you choose to be one, and not worry about what society thinks you need to be in order for you to fit into one of their limited, earthly boxes. If you're choosing to remain a virgin due to your young age and/or because how you FEEL---feelings being the language of the soul---then learn to honor your wise choice and/or authentic feelings. If you're remaining a virgin out of fear, then it would benefit you to look deeper into what all you fear, face them with courage, and embrace, heal, and integrate these lower/denser/slower-vibrating fear-based aspects into your higher/lighter/faster-vibrating, love-based, Whole self. By the way, ever since I starting taking moments to notice the beauty and gentleness of more and more Earth creatures that humans are often turned off by---to include various types of spiders, wasps (like harmless paper wasps), grasshoppers, flies, cockroaches (yes, even them), etc.---my fear of them gradually decreased. I realized that they, like all of us, are simply doing their best to live their lives, and they're NOT out to get us. Plus, you're MUCH BIGGER than spiders silly! ;-) I trust you will do great.
John M Sorry about your experience with woman, have you tried go a therapist, sometimes it could be trauma you got in your childhood, it can be healed, maybe the woman react to your feeling of repellent with something deep in your that you even dont know what is. Get help and it get away.

I believe that when ppl observe their own pathology and identify the underlying causes of their sexual attitudes and preferences there is freedom. For example my friend was going down a rabbit hole of sexual exploration and I helped her realise what she was getting deeper and deeper into was actually a backdoor way of meeting the needs her mother never met for her. She was having older women dominate her and it became rough and violent. As long as we keep going through the back door of sexuality and playing things out, becoming more and more reliant and addicted on those acts to soothe those traumas, we don't really heal. We actually strengthen the neural pathways. For example a man can have prostitutes around to his house pretending to breast feed him in a kinky sexual way for the rest of his life. But when he decides to give himself the nurturing he missed out on from his mother, he actually solves the issue or trauma. Eventually when all these little complexes and deep psychological wounds stop playing out through sexuality and beneath our level of conscious we can reveal sex to be a loving act between the bodies and spirits of two ppl expressing gratitude for eachother.
I've had a lot of issues with sex addiction and using sex as a form of self harm, due to traumas in my past, which gave me a nasty social reputation of being a prostitute which made my sexual behaviour and self-image even worse... I'm sure you can imagine that's not a positive cycle. However I started to find ways to heal, about a couple of years ago, through masturbation and truly listening to my body. It has helped me connect with my body and loving it, instead of rejecting it and feeling shame about it. When it comes to sex with others I still have a lot to work on but I've noticed a lot of very important progress with that too. It is very much a process, but I've gone from being a sex-repulsed addict to self-loving and proud of my sexuality, as well as embracing that I'm bi, and that is my progress. Also, I used to think I was transgender, and lived as a man for a decade. But when my sexual healing really started to have powerful results, it unexpectedly also healed my gender dysphoria (or what I thought was that). And I realised that me thinking I was a man and changing my body, was a result of wanting to escape my sexual traumas. Nowadays, I still struggle with my traumas and how I feel about my body, but I know I've come very far with my healing. I now embrace being a woman despite having rejected it my entire life, I'm finding strength and love within myself - and for myself, and am able to be honest to myself; learning to better communicate my needs, feelings and boundaries to others; allowing myself to feel and be vulnerable; being self-caring instead of self-harming, etc. I keep unlocking previously hidden (or stuffed away) aspects of my mind, understanding them, embracing them. My mind is starting to integrate, and that is a beautiful process to be a part of. My sexuality is really just one of very many aspects I've been working on to heal, but it is still a very important aspect, because it was/is an especially damaged aspect within myself. My goal is to just keep healing, improving and surprising myself. But mostly, being myself.
I like how she mentioned healing sex and carefully worded her explanation. She realizes her words carry more weight if used in the wrong direction. She not only mentioned healing sex and healthy sex but integrated some concepts of pedophiles and nonconsensual sex. There are people who are affected psychologically and are trying to recover or readjust their uncontrolled emotions. This feels like a beginner guide also to understand the meaning of sex for young adults, it's sort of a combination. Some people might not like the truth that Teal mentions in her videos. Honestly, I would like to meet Teal Swan one day and chat with her. She doesn't have to add marriage but I feel like it'll get more eyes but her message covers a lot.

I have been having an online sexual relationship and it has been very healing, we respect each other and I have never felt hurt. I did ask the universe before meeting him to send me the type of man he is. I know not all my emotional needs are being met but it has been healing and it is an affair.

I really appreciate the non-triggering, respectful teaching tone of this video! I attempted to pursue help in this vein recently and the person was only using this hyped up, emotionally-intense tone as if merely talking about sex was in and of itself an overtly sexual experience between the people talking about it. It felt like in their mind the only two modes were “shame over sex” or “hyper-sexual expression” and since they didn’t want to project shame, they made it hyper-sexual (though still inadvertently imposed that shame half of the paradigm onto it.) Made me super uncomfortable like I was being demanded to energetically engage in a way I didn’t consent to and remaining neutral wasn’t acceptable. They proceeded to also dig into some very intimate experiences I had gone through and over-sexualized them in a way that was extremely demeaning and misinterpreted the whole situation, making it all about the physical and totally dismissing the emotional basis of the acts. Totally triggering for me and made strong feelings of sexual aversion flare up for several hours to the point even non-sexual touching felt threatening. Healing for matters of sexuality can be challenging enough as it is, the last place we want to feel unnecessarily triggered is when we come to others for help!

Very interesting Teal. I have no problems with sex. I did have because of a previous liaison I had with some1 a long time ago and haven't had sex since. Have spent a long, long time healing and am healed. So the next sexual interaction will be with someone that at least embodies love...Love coupled with sex is just the best kind of sex...I'm not saying there is anything wrong with however others have sex or even perceive it. But it always feels better for myself when its with someone I love and we build from there. This is my personal preference and the choice I make. Want to feel whole and loved and for a prospective partner to feel the same...I think used and empty afterwards is the worst kind of feeling to be left with. I would like you to clarify when you say domination can be healing but in another video you mentioned that if we are restraint or limited during the way to, and the climax, you will attract domination and limits in your life. None of my relationships have been healthy because it's so normal for people to watch pornography. It twists people's minds and makes it hard to be confident. I don't enjoy any of it. I understand you, I once hated it, too. But now, I'm starting to enjoy my sexual and sensual being again because I can no longer deny this part of mine and love myself and be creative and free. Momma B. Sex seems filthy when that is the only thing another has wanted you for. They placed zero value on the other myriad parts of your humanity. That it feels filthy is really self protective. There is hopefully no way that you will engage in sex until a partner has proven beyond doubt that they lobe and care and value all your other parts first. Hang onto and go with it. Trust yourself. I am not looking and I kinda fear that I may never have sex again but so be it until I find someone who really values the rest of me first.

And if they are watching this video or any other video with a similar content, it says a lot. Including the number of views and likes.

It sounds like forget about the stress of getting to an end goal of what sex should look like and focus on the journey of sex feeling good. And to keep following that as it naturally transforms to whatever it looks like. And so on.
