Pastor here. These people are not serious people. We learn the golden rule in kindergarten. The greatest command in the Bible, the book they claim to follow, is love they neighbor as yourself. She wants it to be both a moral document and "just a historical document." Factual history doesn't come with morals. We attach morals to how we interpret history. The interpretation of the 10 commandments is....religous! Wait until she finds out that most of the "history" found in the Bible are redacted and are factually inaccurate. Most of it is called "theological history." It is again where people wrote down their interpretation of events. They didn't write just what happened, they wrote down how according to their world view. Imagine getting into a car accident and you come out untouched and you say, "God must have reach out God's hand and carried me out..." Its not a statement of facts, it is your interpretation of why and how it happened according what you believe. I say instead of not posting the ten commandments, they start posting Islamic "historical documents". It would be similar to trying to ban Bibles. Let is backfire. Also, these people speak of morals in the 10 commandments and they want guns to kill their enemies, not to mention want to make a man president who cheated on his wife while she was pregnant, lies everytime he talks, take away school lunch for kids, denies racism at every turn, uses God's name to hate on lgbtq people( this is literally one of the ten commandments, do not use the Lords name in vain means saying God said something that God did not..)...this is bonkers.
