Hello everyone, I come to you all with a great announcement, I have begun recording some new clips to remake this video, now with higher production quality since I've tried using the auto drive feature in menyoo so i could get clean video clips without my car or the HUD in the video. Thanks to everyone who watched this and everyone who extended this garbage version. Please suggest places in gta5 that you want to see in the remake, I'll be sure to add everyone I can since I have to fill 3 minutes worth of song lol.
I built my current computer to play the (at the time unreleased) PC port of the game, to me the game is still this amazing next-gen thing and every time I see people nostalgiaposting about GTAV it snaps me back to reality so hard lol
@@kristijandragojevic6324 im sorry you couldnt read but i said *the WHOLE GTA 3 COLLECTION* which means GTA 3, GTA Vice City And GTA San Andreas, thank you.
It's 2015 - after hours of failed set ups and arguments over percentage cuts - you and your buddies finally finish your first heist together - you have more money than you've ever had in the game, and you're all comparing the amazing new cars you've all just bought.
I remember back in early 2016 I first met my school friends inside the gta online world over at the desert, they were all in a circle and when I arrive they started beating me up with baseball bats. They then said it was part of the initiation and the traditional welcome to the world of gta online. Now in 2021 none of them play the game anymore.... including me (even though I sometimes hop on just to mess around). Edit: also to note, we literally made it to our now second year of college and GTA 5 is literally still being released, what the hell
Personally I don't think there's a cap on nostalgia. It's about the amount of stuff that's happened in between, be it in the property or in real life. I remember Fortnite players having nostalgia back in Season 4 which was only a few months into the game existing. It just grew in popularity so much. You can really never re-capture those first experiences with a game.
maybe more for story mode? or maybe since this song came with the game i didn’t get added on through the years and people turned on the radio way more back then, I don’t think people do that anymore idk
Might be an unpopular opinion but I never really lose myself in Story Mode. I put on a radio station that suits the character I'm playing and focus on the destination. On Online though, every time I log in, I end up cruising to whatever I feel like and zoning out, feeling like I'm really there. It's super immersive especially just being alone, not hearing your character talk, and my avatar looks like me.
@@BonJoviBeatlesLedZep I'm more of a story mode guy, I don't like online... I mean they have nice vehicles that I would love to drive, but I prefer being alone. It's hard enough as it is to start a mission alone without people joining in
I was on the cusp of 12 when it first came out on 360, literally grown up with the game, even though I hate what it's become I still play it every so often in order to relive some of those memories.
@@realkaibr I dropped it after like 2014 I don't know how dudes still like to play this game, shit's dead as fuck. A colleague's friend of mine works for Rockstar in Scotland, he works with the online DLC stuff and even he's bored of it lmao.
If you have any questions as to how we can be nostalgic about a current game - this game was released 8 years ago alongside titles such as - Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag - The Last of Us - Bioshock Infinite The devs are keeping the game ‘current’ in media bc it makes a tremendous amount of money, not bc it’s in any way a different game. I was 16, I’m 24 now ffs
I was 10 and I remember begging my dad for the game and when it came out he came home and said it was postponed for a week. Gave me the game that day and the first thing I remember is flying a buzzard on the north side of Mt. Chiliad as Franklin. I killed Trevor because I didn't know option C didn't kill any protagonist.
What do you do now? And honestly, I think that is a valid explanation to people who are weirded out by nostalgia for a "current game". Many played this game 8 years ago, then another 2 or 3 years after that and left the game completely.
@@johncam8420 I was 16 when it came out. I've been at my current job for 4 years, now a supervisor. Getting married next year, own a car.... Still driving round LS in the exact same Elegy (modifications and everything) that I got about 7 years ago. I transferred my account from 360 to PC in 2017 and still play 5-6hrs a week. GTA doesn't get old for me.
Me and the boys going to jump the zancudo’s tunnel in hight speed and see how many time we could survive inside there… Whell now they don’t exist in my life anymore and it’s all about opressors MK II and futuristic devices, I miss the old gta…
Take Two Interactive actually. Sadly when GTA V came out microtransactions and DLCs cemented themselves into gaming and publishers knew it was the perfect way to milk a game.
@@Ograws it's not quite sure. Rockstar originally planned to make story dlc-s to gta 5 (just as they did with gta 4). It was the growing popularity of gta online that made Rockstar leave singleplayer and entirely focus on multiplayer mode.
I feel a bad nostalgia with this game, because i've lost my childhood friend 5 years ago in 2016 by a motorcycle accident. He was a die-hard fan of GTA series, i've never seen someone that was a fan of GTA like him, he played everyday GTA San Andreas with me everytime he came to my house and play PS2. And when GTA V came out, he played lots of it, but bot enough since his adult life came early than me, but we played very much this game, to a point we played just for fun and not doing anything related to storyline, but to just cause chaos. That was my last time i touched this game, and my last car online was a yellow Mustang i did in 2015, and after that, not a single day after i played it. Until this day, when i watch videos from GTA V, or even now, that it's becoming a nostalgic game since his release was 8 years ago, i got very, very emotive because of my friend. So i beg rockstar to just launch a NEW title... i dont remember good times with GTA V, Just want to forget it completely, and live a new future in this series because it's literally dead to me, only living with it's past. This new trilogy says it all.
Damn I remember buying this game for PS3 in 2013, I was a kid back then. Now I have to get up for work at 5 AM everyday and shit. World seems to be completely different
Winter of 2014, grinding out rooftop rumble for the 22nd time in a row, saving up for that adder, and eclipse tower suite. Taking a break from the grind, you decide to head up to Fort Zancudo to launch yourself into the airbase and snag some lazers with your friends to go on a joyride across Los Santos.
2014 playing either Seal Team Six or Prison Thugz Fight. Just got enough money to buy your first sports car, the Banshee.. People weren't flying around in flying super weapons not to mention random hostility was actually rare. People would hop in with you just cause you had a cool personal vehicle. But then the unthinkable happens. You call your mechanic only to have him drive off into the distance with your newly aquired sports car..
Played almost every night after school with my friends for hours and hours. Now we are all grown up and I dont see them anymore (saw one of them for the first time in years the other day). Life goes by too quickly, I miss the old days. We never know we are living our best days until they are over
agreed. I share a similar experience and seeing old friends is a rare occasion nowadays. Just saw one who used to play GTA online with us all the time... Miss those days
It's 2014 you've just finished school. Mums making dinner you go upstairs. Sit down join a party with the boys headset on your all having banter about what happened in school that day. Later that night you find your self on your way to Trevor's airstrip at night dodging trafic like a god listening to ADHD by Kendrick. Lamar. Can't match them times.
Summer 2014, hot weather, shining sun and my dusty xbox360. Played with my friend on one console, changing controller with each other after death... Nostalgia just hit hard. btw, do u still remeber when split screen was a thing?
This game will always be my favorite game of all time. The memories I've made on it can never be competed against. Been nearly 9 years of playing this game.
Yeah same. Alltough I hardly play it anymore, I never deinstalling it. Still going online a few times a year. Such an incredible made game. Still looks beautiful after all these years!
It's insane to think that GTA 5 has been out long enough that It has become a large part of many people's childhoods. I remember spending hours at a time on GTA VC
i kinda can't feel nostalgia for this game because i've wasted so much time grinding online in an attempt to enjoy the new content and the fact that it keeps being rereleased a million and a half times
i haven't played GTA Online since about 2016/2017, but i could see it tainting any nostalgia you'd get. It's bizarre to me lol the last nostalgia i truly have with GTA is GTA IV
@Blake Thompson i stopped enjoying it around early 2016 really liked when heists finally came out after all those teasers rockstar was putting out on twitter at the time that dlc was true to the spirits of the series in every way
Who remembers the year GTA Online went live, that Christmas there were hackers that would place billion dollar bounties on people. THOSE were the good days. I bought everything that was available in the game back in the distant year of 2013, until R* took back the money. They let me keep my Adder bought with dirty money though!
The game is 8 years old. Of course it is! Hell, the music licenses are gonna expire in 2 years, so unless R* pays them again, we will have to say goodbye for this music.
Driving at night listening to Alan Parsons Project and Kenny Loggins, hanging with friends and roaming the countryside, and just exploring the vibrant world of Los Santos is an incomparable feeling. So much nostalgia in this game, everything from the story to the soundtrack really played a part in my younger years. I still redownload it to enjoy the story from time to time. So damn good.
Lol you got me until the "los santos" part. Incomparable huh? What about experience it in real life? Rofl at incomparable feeling in game. INCOMPARABLE :D:D
Maybe you have just very sad life and now I feel terrible for laughing at the incomparable part. If it's the case then sorry otherwise hahaaaaaa incomparable feeling.
For me the most nostalgic thing was playing GTA online in first month or so of it existing, that was great. I remember being blown away by how much i could customise my car and character
Man, I remember being 14 when the game came out. It was my first GTA, I was just excited to be a part of something bigger for once cause I had friends back then. Now I barely touch GTA, I’m too busy and broke too have friends, and I’m 22 but that song still goes fucking hard.
I swear I almost cry when I hear this song anywhere. All the memories just flood in. I love the fact that GTA V gave me some of the songs in my play list.
the first time i clicked on the video i got flashbacks of me and my friends fucking around in online now we have grown apart funny how a song can make me feel like i did when i was in high school friday afternoon nothing else to do the boys where online and all of life's troubles seemed far away
Honestly I didnt care about blowing shit up alot after the game ended. I would instead just get all my fav cars, customize them and wait for this song to come on before driving
Heard this song YEARS before the game came out... My dad used to have a classic Ibiza CD in the car as I was growing up Hearing it in GTA made me smile and it even made my parents smile from across the room, as much as they hate to admit it
They year is 2025. GTA V has been released for mobile devices, Read Dead Redemption II servers have been shutdown, Rockstar returns to project Agent. No sign of GTA VI so far. GTA Online is getting a battle royale in space update though
I remember when my best friend showed me this game it was something I never seen before I felt free in the game like you can do anything you want I remember going my friends house and playing that game all day along with his other friends as well we had fun online wasn’t a thing back then We grow up too fast…..
