@George L I'm pretty sure she knows they weren't burglarers. Educated looking people coming out of a home with their luggage only doesn't look like a burglary. It looks like people traveling. I have lived in plenty of areas where burglaries take place. In the 80s when I was a kid, it happened to our home a few times and we always came back home to see the damages then we called the police. To this day, I wouldn't assume those 4 individuals were burglarizing the home. I would look out the window and say oh, maybe they're new to the area. Maybe they're visiting or something of that nature. If the lady wanted a wave, she should have waved first and asked them politely what they were doing or where the home owner was. The lady was racist just like the cops. In the video, they clearly stated even after they showed the cops the Airbnb email. They still refused to believe the group in an attempt to escalate the situation. Luckily no one was hurt and I'm sure that was the old lady's goal as well as those so called officers who showed up. Too bad you're too blind and naive to see that. I'm sure if being singled out, harassed, or stared at became an almost every day occurrence to you (white boy) you would be able to tell when someone is behaving in a racist manner. You don't experience that nonsense though, but guess what? Black People do, especially in this country so people already feel the racism when it shows it's ugly face. Black people don't complain about racism if it didn't feel that way. You can blame your kind for that.
@George L You sound silly. First of all plenty of middle aged and older people use Airbnb. Secondly I own plenty of rental properties in actual prominent areas and I never inform the neighbors. It's none of their fucking business.
@@normster1000 logic being i bet the lady has rented the place before to people who must have ben white. Did she wave to them? Did they wave back? did she call the police? Probably not. Because she called the police and sad 3 black people are stealing stuff.
What I don’t understand is if the police showed the home owners DMV picture to the people that rented the Airbnb, but didn’t believe them when they confirmed it was the person they rented the home from, why didn’t they show the DMV picture to the neighbour and have her confirm whether that was the home owner.
Even if she didn't know her neighbour well, it's impossible not to know a house across the road is doing air-b&b, you just cannot miss all the coming and goings every week on a street like that, for the average stay is 3 days, I guess she is really stupid and just saw black!
A Virgo seeing your post reminds me of the episode of Fresh Prince where Will and Carlton get arrested because the white cops assumed they stole the car. Then Will tells it how it is “if you see a black guy driving anything better than a burnt out pinto, you better stop him because he stole it.” Most white people assume are all broke and can’t afford anything and if we have cash, we peddle in drugs. Smh these phone callers needs to be charged with falsifying a police report.
I didn't want to watch the whole thing again to verify it, but did the renters of the AirB&B have a contract? And did they show that, as well as ID, to the police? If so, that should hae ended the whole thing right then and there. Sounds like a clear case of racial profiling to me.
She's so fucking weird lmao. She reminds me of my crazy ass neighbor. One time she called the cops bc I got a new car and parked it in front of the house and she didn't know whose car it was 😑 who calls the cops for that? 🤣
That's ridiculous though. If your house was robbed and your neighbor watched the people do it but did nothing to stop it, would you really be ok with "I was minding my own business"? I know I'd be pissed at my neighbor if they didn't call the police, me, or my family at the very least.
The police weren't property diligent. Was the house broken into or did they have a key? Do burglars normally carry luggage? I don't wave at my neighbors. Not waving at somebody isn't a crime.
Not to mention, they're carrying luggage. I can't wave at someone while carrying luggage. As I said in a previous comment. I don't blame the neighbors. I blame the police and the home owners. Home owners should have informed others that they would have guests in thier home while they were out of town.
@@curtisfranzen986 but why do I have to inform the Neighbors I'm going out of town 😐 I'm renting my house like I would think ppl know how to mind their God damn business.
Yeah thats funny lol. One of my neighbors are crackheads but theyre usually quiet and my other next door neighbor are college adults. Like mid 20s, but they have girls over every now and then and shits get really loud, someones always yelling. And now my house smells like weed all day so the point of this is we dont ever make eye contact with each. We mind our business and dont call the cops on each other, its a good system👍

Exactly and when new people move into a neighborhood, it's usually the people who have been there already that introduce themselves. The bitch is a lie and she only called because she is a racist.
Weird. That woman claims she knows her neighbor, yet is not aware of the fact that she rents out room(s) under Airbnb? Can't imagine this was the first time she saw customers entering/leaving with a suitcase
Jogging at night stopped by 3 officers because my neighbor said there's a black man running with a hood on. Cops detained me for half an hour making me late for work while they run my info and question me about why i was jogging at night with a hood on. I keep forgetting its illegal to wear a hood.
That's what I thought too. If they had an Air B and B there would have been other people renting in on occasion, walking in and out with luggage. No, she was a racist and so was the cop.
Agreed. I live right next to a BnB residence and I have seen folks of all races, skin color and nationality rent it and my neighbors and I have never ever called the police or felt uncomfortable by their presence. This is just stupid and silly. Mind your own business and live your life and let others live theirs.
@@edcarson3113 Right, community for other fellow pale folks. It was bullshit anyway you look at it. If they were so tight nit, she would have know they were renting it out. When I see people I don't recognize at my neighbors, I don't call the cops, I call them first.
Ed Carson they were staying at an Airbnb. They're not part of that community. And even if they were, you don't HAVE to wave at anyone. You don't get to call the police on people cuz they didn't wave at you.
"They look strange" was code for "there is black people in my white neighborhood" and the cops jumped on code. They are not happy when we just be. #CanILive
akillah Proctor they look strange because of their behavior..and that they didn't LIVE in the house they were coming out of.....and weren't friendly....some places have friendly settings...she is an old woman...she thought she was protecting her neighbors...better safe than sorry. I can’t speak for other cities, but in New York, people look at you weird if they don’t know you and you randomly wave. I’ve lived next to neighbors for years at a time and had hardly any interactions with them aside from holding open the door to the apartment building. @Jackel's Gate I wouldn't say it's racism. White people don't understand that people from other cultures mind their own business. It wouldn't have made much of a difference if they had waved at the neighbor.
@Jackel's Gate racists today dont activley show it because it is not socially acceptable. so you need the mental capacity to assess the nuance in how people are treated.
"They did not wave"?? She was gonna call the police anyway. I have a neighbor and once I said Hi to her and she told me to "Go back to your country". Thats why I don't bother saying "Hi" to anyone now. 😒
The irony... This is Bob Marley' s grand daughter. Bob spent a lot of his years speaking about social injustice against blacks. In 2018 his grand daughter experiences it.

If you were Indian or Chinese in my neighborhood you would be cast out If you didn’t socialize a bit. But that doesn’t happen because the Indians are very smart. In my suburb in California everyone knows everyone. Everyone watches everyone. Some one called the police on me because I lived in Africa for two years and came back to my parents house and the guy didn’t recognize me at my parents house. Some police came asking for my ID and saw my address on it. He told me there was a report of some white male going onto someones lawn.
The W.H. has made us all afraid of each other. However, others are true RACIST- and that's frightening- I.E. this lady and others - p.s I didn't know Black Americans were obligated to 👋 wave, ( is that code)?
Chances are she didn't know her neighbors well and they knew she was a nosey old bat and avoided her like the plague occasionally waving to thwart her attempts at long invasive conversations.
That bitch has seen random people come in and out of this house but she don't like black ppl. There was one white person with them but she only reported the black people.. that proves she's a racist
@Ted Bundy She's been doing this for a long while. She studied African American studies in college. She's one of the few that have really tried to be there for us because she understands the balance of power in this country.
I knew my neighbor, Mr. Fahey, when I was a kid, but I didn't know his number. I don't know why people assume all acquaintances would know their neighbors' numbers. If I needed to talk to my neighbor, I would usually just walk over to his house, knock on the door, and ask him face to face.
I live in the UK and what I see happening everyday in your country makes me weep. The persecution of innocent people, based solely on their skin colour sickens me. Let us just call it what it is, RACISM and it has to stop.

I don't care what color they are. If you see someone stealing from your neighbor, do you NOT call the police because you're afraid to be racist, because these assholes MIGHT go on TV? This is BULLSHIT!!
Very mature guys, so someone from another country has an opinion on your country and the first thing you do is criticize or insult that country, wow what great progress. Why are people so proud of being born in a country? That has no merit, that's the merit of your parents, and more importantly your mother, by the way happy mothers day
believe me i have last year almost the same mu son in the summer coming back home and his hair was long and curly, the neighbor never see him, and when he came come, and sit in font of TV to play game, POLICE was behind his heels, and arrest him, and he start s scream, because he didn't do anything and he is white.... they arrest him, put him outside in the evening for 10 min, he was screaming he was wear his underwear, they arrest him for nothing... You can imagine what I came through, and after the management doesn't want to give me a lease to live in the building!!!!! all people around lie to me... I went to police, no arrest record, but the LOVELY NEIGHBOR scroll UP MY FAMILY LIFE!! And your point. Maybe she has asthma. I didn't notice anger. You assumed. She had alot to say and only a few minutes. I think you'd called the police too. Too bad.
Police came from slave catchers. POLICE were only created to protect hwight people. They been told for hundreds of years to kill any black person that flees them armed or not.
people have also died because someone was scared to call the cops about someone they believed was breaking into a house. It's not the caller being racist, if the cops were better trained, this never would have been an issue, it would have just been a sheltered old lady trying to do the right thing.
The neighbor is ‘nosy Mrs. Krevitt’ in the show Bewitched - all day looking outside! A busybody who lives a very uneventful existence not to mention prejudice !! Yes, I agree fine these people people who are ignorant and Or forgot to take their psych. medications!!
I almost agree, that the caller should be held responsible. (And the caller is partly to blame), However...the truth is...the police, who answer bogus calls...should be held reaponsible, for their actions. And their respective departments. Police tend to believe, every call they get...is somehow legitimate. Police should know...there is always the possibility, that the caller could very well be in the wrong.
Arrest an old lady for not knowing her neighbor rented the house out for a week while hey were on vacation? This kind of mindset is going to cause people to NOT call the police with the fear of being called a racist, and people are going to get robbed and murdered because of it. I agree there is a problem, but this one is reaching a bit.
Matt Norwood that absolutely makes no sense. When do robberies ever relate to anything being racist? Why would anyone ever worry about being racist on calling the police? That’s dumb af. You call the police when it’s a guaranteed robbery regardless of color

Queen of Water 😂 😂 exactly!!, nothing they would have done would have made her take her damn mail and go back in your house! It’s not against the law to waive or not waive!!!
She accuses them of not being friendly or neighborly or not waving while she stood at her mailbox?!! She was most definitely standing there ogling them, staring, making faces of disapproval looking all kinds of nuts. When someone is staring at you looking all crazy at you, you usually try to ignore it and pay them no mind. And her acting like "they didn't act like neighbors they didn't wave". SHE should've acted like a "friendly neighbor". You know, if she couldn't get ahold of the owners of the house that she apparently knew so well, she could've just walked over with some drinks or something, and been like "Oh hi I'm OldLady Crustydraws, I'm a friend of Lisa and Jimbob McMayonnaise, nice to meet you." Then they would've just said, "Nice to meet you, we're renting the house for a couple days. blah blah friendly banter etc etc." Then the lady would've just said "Cool well I'm right across the street if you guys need anything, have a good day!" But instead she chose to escalate it by making it suspicious and about race. She clearly just had an issue with seeing black people there because the couple rented their house out multiple times before so she couldn't have not been used to seeing people in and out. Don't tell me she was afraid and fearing for her life or some bullshit because if she's out there standing at the mailbox with her phone staring she ain't that damn afraid.
OurLittleSecretYT c'mon now, you know what this is. A scared white lady is worse than murder. How many other calls where made to the police at this time and this was the immediate call they responded to........
And don’t forget her hands were on her hips, that doesn’t represent fear, that shows anger or annoyance. I don’t care how old she is, she should be exposed and shamed!
Kay Ari Exactly! Someone who's scared wouldn't have their hand on their hips talking on the phone while looking at the danger. She was basically showing that she didn't wanna have those black neighbors close to her home so she made a call so that the police would remove them. Racist old white women had lived through the slavery era and they have 1950 mentality. I see a lot of them around where I live and I can see how they look at black people. They even stare at black kids in a very strange way.
This is Bob Marley's granddaughter. She is well known in Jamaica and many other nations because of the work she has done in entertainment, human rights and other social justice activities. The lady who made the call is just plain ignorant and lacking in exposure.

itsjustgigi 9545 Exactly...and if she did know her neighbors so well, why didn’t she call *them* or, if she didn’t have that number, perhaps call or go over and check in with another neighbor? I have all my neighbors’ numbers in my cell and they have mine. I just can’t imagine calling the COPS on people walking out of the house with luggage. We are all very, very aware of the inherent dangers in calling the police on “suspicious black people” 🙄. Being *black* does not make someone suspicious, coming out of a home *with luggage* does not make someone suspicious, and *not waving* does not make someone suspicious. I live in a very nice, very ethnically, religiously, and age diverse neighborhood. It sounds like this neighborhood could use some diversity...although I don’t know if the lady who called would still be so excited to know her neighbors then 😏.
Ben Jackbag Mank So if this happened to you, you'd be 100% understanding and not the least bit freaked out? I'm a white woman and I'd be thrown if someone called the cops on me for leaving a residence for which I had PAID to stay. Now couple that with the appalling and scary incidents of black people being mistreated by cops and it becomes even more disturbing. And, honestly, do you REALLY think this lady would have called if the young people coming out of the home with luggage were all white?? As a side note: if you feel the need to call people derogatory and disgusting names when trying to make a point, it only serves to make your argument look weak. I'm not "crying" about anything...you're the one who seems all riled up 🤬.
You are a better person then me than Stacie, I know my neighbors names and we talk but I don't have any their numbers and I doubt they have mines. And its the same for other places i lived at. I think what it mostly comes down to is if the neighbor knew the homeowner uses their house as an airbnb. If she is unaware what airbnb is and that it was being used as one i can understand the confusion.
Haxleygv no that’s an excuse if she didn’t know her neighbors number why didn’t she speak to them? Because she was afraid? But she wasn’t afraid enough to go back in the house and call. Im glad this is finally coming to light. it happens wayyyy more than we know. i got called on twice within 30 minutes down in Monroe North Carolina in 2010. Because it would be a good idea to bill a woman who is reporting getting raped $10,000. Way to encourage speaking out against rape. Or maybe it’s a good idea when a child calls the cops because he doesn’t know when you should and shouldn’t call the cops. Great minds think alike.
The biggest part of this entire situation is the fact that she called the police while they were leaving which means they had at least been there the day prior... why not call then? I haven't heard of any robbers who stay for a few days at the crime scene even the stupid ones.
