CNN's Anderson Cooper leads a panel discussing former President Trump's criminal hush money trial in New York as John Berman breaks down the courtroom transcript. #CNN #News
Cohen was acting like someone who works for a crime boss. That’s how you would expect them to act - aggressive, intimidating, shaking, and scaring you down. I mean he (Trump that is) is doing that right now. He has the GOP and his supporters act like Cohen. Jim Jordan, MTG, Habba, to name a few. They scare and Intimidate you to do what they want.
And that is because this is where these people come from. Trump's dad was mobbed up - they launder money. Michael Cohen's uncle owns el Caribe - that is basically the headquarters of the Russian mafia - has been since the 80s. These are not co-incidences.
Hey Kaitlan, I've actually experienced these red hats first hand and the trauma they cause. They drive around the community with those big American flags waving off the back of their cars while shouting USA and it's absolutely terrifying to experience. Vote blue as if your life depends on it.
The same ones who committed an insurrection? The same ones who make death threats and harass anyone Trump tells them to without question? The same ones who have no qualms or morals about lying and committing criminal acts as long as it gets them what they want? Or do you mean the KKK and Proud Boys?
@@executionerofthedeepstateyou keep watching Fox entertainment. The one that was sued for $787 million. CNN never lies. And if they do they call it out. Fox News talks about how Biden weaponized the DOJ to go after Trump. That's a complete lie All conspiracies. They will get sued again for the false hunter allegations
@@user-ut8ls7qp1j Today Dump was found guilty of criminal contempt, 9 counts, that's nine misdemeanor convictions bud. Next time the judge puts him in jail. Too bad you have a limited time time left to use that comment.
Coverups are not illegal. Nothing we see here is illegal other than it is being done by a person named Trump. Confidential agreements between two individuals is not illegal. This happens every day with individuals, businesses and corporations. It is not illegal.
Don't you remember when Trump was in office and his flunkies got in trouble he would always said he didn't know the person but heard he was a good guy or woman.
Cohen told the truth something trump would never do… He turned it around because he knew not to trust a liar and crook… thank you Michael We are all with you and are proud of you for being honest
You might be 'with' Cohen. I don't know where you got 'the royal we' from. Two criminals have turned on each other, so what. Americans fall for this, turn over a new leaf nonsense, from con artists, repeatedly. Cohen has got plenty of evidence and corroboration to back him up. Don't have to like or trust him, neither should the jury, if they've been instructed correctly.
He's just the "fixer". One of the reasons you have RICO laws is to peel back the layers and prosecute first the subordinates then eventually the ringleaders. Its crystal clear Trump and Pecker had the long term relationship and Cohen was a intermediary taking care of the low level stuff - the boots on the ground as it were. Fascinating that you could spin up a shell company to further insulate the Trump name from any involvement - breaking the chain. And of course with the billing being falsified you have Weisselberg, already doing time, on the other side of this. One wonders what the IRS knows about these shell companies. Years of audits, they must have quite the spreadsheet by now. The thing about shells - especially offshore tax haven shells - is they can be setup and torn down on a whim. And some evidently are stacked as pass through accounts to make auditing/investigation near impossible.
I hope she is because she was right about everything. "Basket of Deplorables" turned out to be an understatement, but everybody acted like it was such an uncouth thing to say at the time.
@@smilesnow4593 Nope.....she was investigated for possible crimes (I think related to emails) but the DOJ found insufficient evidence to charge her with any crimes.
His die hard cult members don’t, because they exclusively watch Fox, OAN or other Trump propaganda, and those channels don’t cover or offer defenses for Trump’s lies.
He said in his podcast last week that he was asked that question often. He answered that he was in it for the star power. Remember Trump was on the top of his game back then.
Cohen admitted he was part of it. He went to prison for it. He realized that loyalty to trump is a one way street and has apologized for his behavior. What more do people want from him?
I think T-Rump is guilty as sin but can nonetheless see the defense making a credible (albeit bullsh!t) argument Cohen acted as a free agent on the Stormy deal. Pecker testified Cohen repeatedly nagged him to praise Cohen when speaking to Trump, to say what a great job Cohen was doing for Trump, and what a great lawyer Cohen is, implying Cohen was desperate to further ingratiate himself with The Boss. Pecker also testified Cohen very much wanted a job in the White House but Trump would not oblige. And Davidson testified that working for Trump was central to Cohen’s identity, insinuating his obsession with Trump bordered on pathological. The defense is going to claim Cohen was a low-level errand boy at the Trump Org who had delusions of grandeur about becoming a player but that in Trump’s mind, Cohen was a joke and that he acted alone to protect Trump’s candidacy in hopes he would be richly rewarded in the end. Sadly, but predictably, Trump instead threw Cohen under the bus.
I trust and admire Cohen. He is a truly transformed man. In a weird way, he represents the worst and the best in an ordinary man confronted with a hard problem. I feel proud of him. It’s like he chose the light of honesty, over the darkness of Trump.
@@lorrainemcfarland621 it is just more of what they and all of us always knew. The difference is it’s a criminal trial. He is already an adjudicated fraudster and sexual assaulter. Now he will soon be an adjudicated election stealer and business cheat…

To quote former United States President Theodore Roosevelt: "No man is above the law and no man is below it; nor do we ask any man's permission when we ask him to obey it. Obedience to the law is demanded as a right, not asked as a favor." "The judges who administer justice in our countries must be seen as ethical and subject to meaningful correction when it is necessary. Nothing less than the rule of law is at stake."

Just ask for whom Michael Cohen was being a jerk, aggressive, and lying for…….the 🤡 for whom he went so far as to say he “would take a bullet” for at the time😊…nuff said!
I enjoy hearing Cohen. He is very sorry for his crimes and paid for them in prison. He came out way better than when he went in. Im glad he's changed and fighting for democracy .
Of course, but that is about the only defense Trump and his lawyers have, to try to discredit Cohen. Trump is guilty as sin and the walls are closing in.
Signs of a sociopath • behavior conflicting with social norms, repeatedly pushes the envelope into uncharted territory. • disregarding or violating the rights of others, insubordinate to any form of authority. • unconcerned in distinguishing between right and wrong. • inability to show remorse, for they have none, void of empathy. • tendency to lie often, repeatedly, automatically. Behaves in a risky, impulsive, dangerous manner. • extremely manipulative, exploits others without any care of who gets hurt. • no conscience or guilt, refusal to accept responsibility for their actions, claiming ownership in the success of others.
The nice thing about cohen is you don’t need to believe him, because he is just there to add context to all of the hard evidence, that will support what he says.
And now trump is complaining that his current lawyers aren't conducting themselves aggressively enough. Cohen is the first to say how being in the trump bubble distorts one's sense of right and wrong. He did the time, including having been unlawfully reprimanded by Barr. I respect and appreciate that Cohen has embraced law over chaos.
Love all the defense attorneys licking their chops about how Trump can crucify Cohen when he takes the stand. All Cohen needs to say is that was my job. That is what Trump hired me to do - take care of trumps problems and emulate Roy Cohn who is trumps hero.
The great innovation of conservatism in recent decades has been the systematic reinvention of politics using the technology of public relations. The main idea of public relations is the distinction between "messages" and "facts". Messages are the things you want people to believe. A message should be vague enough that it is difficult to refute by rational means. One of the most important patterns of conservative message-making is projection. Projection is a psychological notion; it roughly means attacking someone by falsely claiming that they are attacking you. Conservative strategists engage in projection constantly. A commonplace example would be taking something from someone by claiming that they are in fact trying to take it from you. January 6 ring a bell? Trump tried to steal an election, by falsely claiming it was being stolen from him.
She was right!! Cohen was acting exactly how Psycho wanted! Just the other day we heard how Psycho is complaining that he wanted his Lawyer's to attack the Witness!! Really!
When Michael Cohen was in the cult of trump, yes, he was a jerk and probably acted hostile. However, once out of the cult, Michael Cohen has turned himself completely around and now sees what was happening was very wrong. Michael Cohen testified that being in the circle of trump will eat your soul one small bite at a time until there's nothing left.
The former president and presumptive Republican nominee has been campaigning in his off-hours, but is required to be in court when it is in session, four days a week. Jurors so far have heard from two other witnesses. Trump’s former longtime executive assistant, Rhona Graff, recounted that she recalled once seeing Daniels at Trump’s office suite in Trump Tower and figured the performer was a potential contestant for one of Trump’s “Apprentice”-brand shows. Former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker laid out how he agreed to serve as the Trump campaign’s “eyes and ears” by helping to squelch unflattering rumors and claims about Trump and women.
