@@andresuston7692 false. One of the brothers led as well. The Jets were a band made of 4 brothers and 3 sisters, not making them a girl group at all. Last time I checked, a girl group means ALL FEMALES! Yall debate the stupidest things. They were NOT a girl group regardless of how many songs they led.🤡🤦🏽♀️🙄
me too! when I mention cassette single people think I am making it up and what about the 12 in single? I have a collection of about a dozen and I have to repeatedly say to people, it's the size of an album/lp with ONE song!!
I was 13 years old going on 14 in the summer of 1990 when this hit was released on the radio!! Great memories!! I cannot believe that has been 28- 29 years ago!! So surreal
That's awesome! I love April Harris! There's a woman who works at the Costco in my small town of Eureka, CA who looks so much like her... and I told her so once! lol... just beautiful.
Actually, Michelle Visage was vogueing and had this look WELL before Madonna saw how popular all that was, and appropriated the look and dance (extremely briefly) for herself! It's Madonna who took advantage of a popular thing, then dropped it like a hot rock. Michelle Visage LIVED the lifestyle, and immersed herself in the culture, long before it was a national thing!
Wrong. Madonna even had her attorneys draw up a C&D(cease and desist letter) in which stated she would be sued for copywriter/trademark looks infringement
@@saldestralo1 Michelle actually won a Madonna look-alike contest back in the 80s AND she was Voguging before Madonna appropriated it for herself. Madonna sending a C&D was her being the petty, cutthroat bitch that she's always been.
This will always be one of my favorite female groups. To bad I can't find their stuff on cd's. The cassette were this song is found has a lot of other hits. They were wonderful and their cover of "Heartbeat" shows us what a great song that will always be!
the song "Heartbeat" by Taana Gardner is a nice throw back to the early eighties. this is a bad ass version of it though. I dig this video and the way the music was put together here. Seduction were some fine ladies
love this song music was amazing then! i was 14 years old and would dance to this over and over.also recorded like every version off the radio on tape ahh those were the days.
The original heartbeat from 1979 sang by Taana Gardner I was 9 years old. Seduction released remark 1989 of heartbeat, I was 19 years old so I remember it like yesterday 70s 80s Music the best.
Me too! I liked the Taana Gardner track, but Clivillés & Cole really produced a great remake here! And I loved that it stayed totally true to the original!
I've always said the same of this video. It's SO well executed, all the way down to the editing! The choreography, lighting, and all that is just top-notch!
I remember back than Seduction first drop heart beat I was a fan of there's Seduction was my first frovorite female group before some of the other female groups of the 90.s before some of the other female artists by than, I think heart beat was so groove in high Style
JorgiaBrown YOU DAMN RIGHT SHE IS FIERCE. AND WITHOUT MICHELLE THIS GROUP WOULD BE NOT SO FIRE AS THEY WERE. MICHELLE PUT IN 10,000. PERCENT INTO THIS GROUP. GIVE HER, HER DUE. SHE KNEW WHAT TO DO. SHE HAD THE TALENT, THE GIFT OF DANCE AND THEATRICS. THEY WORKED WELL TOGETHER.
This song bring back memories I use to dance to this song! It's been 40 years since this jam came out in the year 1989. And I'm listening to it in 2019.
"Now u know this makes no kind of sense, walking 'round here so intense.....u make my..heartbeat...u make me feel...so weak...that was the jam back in the day!!!!
I still have this song "Heartbeat" and the album "Nothing Matters Without Love" on the original black cassette tape released in 1989 from A&M Records. CLASSIC!!!!!!
This is what I miss about the 90s but couldn't appreciate it when I had it. These women were sexy in a classy way. If one of them were my mom, I wouldn't be as embarassed as the twerkers of this generation are going to be when they get older and they look back at videos and clips nowadays.
Don't hate on ANY culture. Some generations will look at you and say "look at them wearing their underwear in public with their breasts hanging out". One is no better than the other.
WoW! this brings back lots of good memories in early 1990's clubbing at Incognitos, in PHX, Az, Hey Ruthie hope life is treating you better in the Bronx these days, and hope life is better for you Dave in Cali miss you all my party compas. Hasta Luego!
Another great Freestyle group. I just heard them on iHeart station on the iHeart Freestyle station. Freestyle hasn't died, lol, we've all just gotten older!!
Yeah Sonyal95... Idalis is still around, doing acting here and there. She was on Six Feet Under for a little while, and was in the movie "Running Scared" in like 2007.
OMG I cannot bvelieve I finally found this song!!!!! Reminds me of dancing in my mamas stilettos singing into a hair brush!!!! Now my heartbeats for my Husband!!!!!
