Coherence Breathing is based on a 5.5-second inhale followed by a 5.5 second exhale using your nose. There are many scientific benefits such as improving heart rate variability (HRV), reducing blood pressure, and inducing greater feelings of relaxation.
Try to relax on both the inhale and exhale, be patient with yourself, and let me know in the comments how you feel afterwards, love Mike

Dear Mike, I am conducting a study as part of my MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience which is comparing different slow-breathing techniques' effects on subjective anxiety ratings and cognitive performance (specifically response inhibition). One of the breathing patterns I intend to examine is coherence/resonant breathing - precisely what you have in this video here. My issue is the software we have to use to host the experiment has got rid of the function to embed RU-vid videos, would you be open to the possibility of letting me use your video and providing a downloadable copy for the purpose? All the best, Ben Smith
