The heart is much more than just a mechanical “pump.” Rather, the health of the physical heart is related to our subjective experience of love and heartbreak.

When we address these other corresponding dimensions that are entwined in heart disease, we can effect change in our heart health more effectively than by just relying on pills, surgery, diet and exercise alone. .
Through vivid clinical examples, Dr. Gerald explains how you can take charge of your health and work together with your doctor actively. One powerful non- invasive process available to each of us is mental imagery. Sometimes referred to as visualization or guided imagery, this technique is based in the over 4000-year-old Western Spiritual system. Mental imagery can simply be understood as the mind seeing in pictures instead of thinking in words. It is the way the mind speaks with the body to help repair it. It is the way we come into wholeness and health.
