@@gigastrike2 Its definitely a the win condition the deck needed. Skarr is not enough.

@x10018ro Skarr isn't enough in Kibler's deck because he doesn't run anything to support it. He just slapped it in and wonders why it never gets used for the intended purpose. I support my Skarr and frequently win because of it. My issue with Therazane is that I don't know how you would play it with the same consistency, and I don't think it's fast enough to save you when you finally do. You can't search for it with Taelan Fordring because you need walking mountains at the very least to save you and make use of the effect, and Thunderbringer won't pull it reliably because your deck must be full of elementals for it to even be worth it.

I feel that elemental mage was better; the challenge with this one is that the ONLY damage from hand is Skarr, and it's a very bottom-heavy curve. If you lose the board it's possible to get into a state in which you just can't close the game out, especially if you're drawing 1 and 2 mana elementals. The mage deck with the frozen-touches and Aegwyn could come back or even steal a win in a way that this one can't.

Without another good answer I'm not convinced he could have taken the tempo loss of letting the 7/6 live. Can't win 'em all, sometimes it just shakes out that way.

@parkerdixon-word6295 against rogue matchup u can give up a little tempo to look what answers he could get next turn. U have only one card in deck that can definitely reverse game to your side, opponent have only one 7/6 threat and ur hp is on green side. I am sure that is not a win condition here. But yeah, sometimes u can get a win like this definitely.
