that ethereal is the only 5 mana minion a mage even has but it is so good. I have tried it in my decks and it works wonders an absolute perfect fit for mage. I hope there is more to discover in the future, the reason I love discover so much is it lets you play cards you don't often see
+TurkishRider for fatigue decks you often find yourself running out of cards, cold light oracle is just a way for you to draw cards since it doesnt make you take fatigue earlier, plus of you're facing control decks you can combo with bran and sometimes burn a few cards from your opponent deck. Normally you don't play cold lights early on, they're meant for late game mostly and the only draw you will have in your deck.
I already knew the power of the Scarab when i playted it on my Midraange Hunter and Shaman, and now is a staple in most of my decks, and Ethereal Conjurer is just great. I hope to see more Discover card in the next expansions. No I want a "Reasons to play Gorillabot A-3" video.
i'm kind of an amateur at hearthstone but i have a question. can discover spells give you the power artifacts from rifam? or the map to the golden monkey?
The cards you mentioned count as special variants which can’t be obtained by normal means. They aren’t in the regular card pools that the game looks through when you play a discover card, which prevents you from getting it any other way than intended (e.g. ysera has a special card pool that the game looks through when giving you a card, so in that situation you would be prevented from obtaining any regular cards).
