For Paladin I am hype for Heal Zoo, maybe it will end up being Odd Heal Zoo. But anyway quite similar to Warlock's Heal Zoo but with some weapons, Thekal, and others. I hope it's good because I really like the concept.

Gonk OTK is fun and can be insane. But you're mostly right about Malygos and Tokens being much stronger than newer decks right now.

With Rise of Shadows looming ever closer I'm enjoying looking back over your previous predictions Mr. Penniless: you were actually remarkably accurate with your Rastakan predictions. Decks you thought would fail... did. Most decks you thought would work, did (Kingsbane rogue made such a comeback thanks to Raiding Party that it had to get hamstrung, and even that whacky Dragon / Rush warrior is now at least tier 3). Most of all, you got the top dog right all along; sadly enough, Odd Paladin remained top dog . It's largely kept off the top because of its abysmal matchup with MR Hunter, giving them a whole bunch of small minions to run springpaws into gives them enormous Hyenas and leaves the Paladin with no real response. The real question is... what's your Mech hunter list?! I've been playing both a Pure Mech Magnetic style and a Mechrattle with some non-mech powerful cards (Shaw, Cube, etc), please share your wisdom qt3.14!

Master's Call may not work with Kathrena anyway since you would be drawing a large percentage of your beasts leaving nothing left for Kathrena to summon on Battlecry and Deathrattle.

I'm 3 minutes in the video and I'd like to say that Odd Druid, which is Zooish, is pretty good. You got the Gloom Stag going on, which is very strong.

I still wonder if Hero Attack druid may be better, especially with the interaction that Disguised Toast found with having two is of the druid loas on board.

Seance and Mass Histeria are godsents to APM priest. Both fix the core issue of the deck, and also allow it to trim down the redundant combo slots to fit in a more control style.

Secret Hunter gets SO MUCH GAS with Zul'jin, and I think adding Masked Contender adds a lot of tempo to the list as well- which makes me think that Secret Hunter is gonna be at least somewhat better.

Just came up with the idea for Murloc Druid. The idea is that you have your Murlocs, and with the help of Murloc Tastyfin and some other cards that help you draw out that you can make a fast enough deck that helps you continue pressuring the Opponent. Your Card draw limit is 10. (And no, UI is not worth it. It's an Aggro deck, and it wants to kill shit quickly.) In the Meanwhile, you have some good Synergy Cards, such as Witchwood Grizzly, and Witching Hours, and Banana Buffon for the Bananas, so that way you can protect your more important minions. For the few that see this and can make use of it, I recommend even warlock as it beats combo decks, crushes aggro decks that aren't heavy on burst, and will likely we fast enough to outpace any new decks. Though, odd rogue tends to have the highest winrate for the first week of new expansions now.

I just wanted to say that Master’s call does not discover a card, it draws it no matter what. If you discover Kathrena, you draw it (still not that bad)

So let's see some of your assessments and how well they fared after launch: Druid: So true it had to be nerfed. Druid's core was so good, and its existing OTK combos were so powerful, that alternate options such as Gonk just weren't super viable. Gonk was the eptiome of Fun but not Effective, fitting for it to have a name similar to a certain Hunter legendary minion. Hunter: Oof... calling Oondasta a bad fit for Deathrattle Hunter was pretty bad. The Oondasta package consisting of Armani War Bear, Oondasta, and Witchwood Grizzly (already ran in most Deathrattle Hunters) is pretty powerful, enough so that it's currently the main way to run Deathrattle Hunter. Undatakah was good, but it had dreadful synergy with Deathstalker beasts, which made it a niche choice in Hunter. Your idea for a Big Beast Hunter was alright, but without the Deathrattle package, it was severely lacking. Mage: I'll be honest, nobody expected Odd Mage to be bad. The Hero Power was already pretty good, it just needed some extra oomph to get going. Elemental Mage... sucked. Again. Again. Again. I swear, Elemental synergy is so bad at a core it'd take some genuinely busted effects to make it work. Paladin: The closest thing to "Control" Paladin got was a rise in the DK OTK deck. Shirvallah Holy Wrath was tried out in early Rastakhan, but quickly died off due to DK OTK being so much better, plus not requiring waiting you ran out of your deck to do. Odd Paladin was so good it had to get nerfed, though the core was so good it still soldiers on. Priest: Quest Priest was tried, but it was dead on arrival. Otherwise, not much to say here. Rogue: Kingsbane returning was right on the money, to such a point it had to be nerfed. Spirit of the Shark, however, just didn't work out. Brann was 1 mana less, and that's 1 mana less which really mattered. Plus, Rogue doesn't have a lot of Battlecries they'd like to trigger twice, so they passed it up. Gral jumped into the air with Darkness, then got plucked by a bird which laughed at Gral for playing one of the worst cards in the game. Pirates kinda worked... at Tier 3, but it's kinda viable. Shaman: Zentimo didn't see play outside of a Tier 4 aggro deck. Someone tried to kiss Krag'Wa and put it into a viable deck, but was subsequently turned into a toad and now nobody wants anything to do with the frog. Evolve flopped pretty hard, instead with Shaman's primary representation being an Even Shaman with elemental synergies. But yeah, Likkim is only in that Tier 4 Aggro Shaman I mentioned earlier. Warlock: Warlock continued doing their classic Cube and Even shenanigans. Zoo fell from grace into Tier 3, but it's close to viability. But yeah, Blizzard accidentally discarded all the good cards for Warlock this expansion. Warrior: Warrior's claim to fame is Odd. Not enough good Rushers are Odd to justify the buildaround, but enough good Dragons are Odd to give that an excuse to exist. Bar the Tier 3 Rush Warrior.

Eureka summons krag’wa, play combo, next turn play krag’wa to get combo back, repeat ad infinitum.

Small review on the dragon Rush deck... Firetree which doctor is 100% must add‼️‼️(discovered the boom ship and laid down malygos and 2 primordial Drake's) the rush package is very good but only when you get those exact perfect pans and drawers early-game otherwise it doesn't help too much in the Late game.(I didn't have Darius) also devastate is very weird it's like a worst execute but more flexible (???). also Cobalt scalebane is a great addition if you do want to get more Temple oriented you can get for the board up and then Cobalt scalebane can help out. Overall the deck works out pretty well the only problem is you need to decide whether you want to be more early game oriented or more late game oriented I'm having more fun with late game

You forget about secret hunter for Vul'jin playing one each of every secret you played that game can win you the game

Everyone keeps forgetting Bog Slosher can bring up a spell damage totem for 1 Mana with 2/4 Stats, that alone makes it a card considering. Otherwise a 2/4 Taunt or heal by 1 at the end if turn aren’t bad either. Just the attack totem might be a bit underwhelming compared to the others

funnily enough, "100% win rate gonk otk druid" is open in another tab as i watch this video.

Big beast hunter? Spell hunter will surely value zuljin much more (multiple secrets, greater spellstone, deadly shot, crushing walls) Insane

How does Scaleworm bind Dragon and Rush together though? Since it only gains rush from its it doesn't synergize with the spirit or town crier. EDIT: Just had this synergy happen in Rumble Run. Scaleworm did get Immune from the Shrine.

0:20 How did he come up with this number? The Standard Set (including Rastakhan's) has 6*135 unique (not counting the duplicates for Common, Rare, Epic) cards (135 in each expansion) plus 236 unique cards from the Classic Set, which is 1146 in total.

Discard control lock seems strong. You can pull zavas with witchwood piper and just discard her and jeklik the whole time. At least that’s what I think

I think shriek in warlock is really good, and might be enough to make cubelock better than even.

If you still lack the legend cardback, just play heal zoo once the expansion hits live. All the new stuff they try to push is so freakin slow, its pretty much free for Zoo while everyone is experimenting.

Well, the problem with this Diversity Design is, that not every new Archetype can compete with the old top tier decks, so we will still see more of the old decks than we'd like

Hey penniless, could you do a video on spiteful druid? It is one of my favorite decks, and is the exception of the druid ramp package.

Two issues I have: -Masters Call doesn't discover copies, you draw the minions from your deck -And why should bog slosher be good in shudderwock? As long as grumble is in rotation, this thing isn't needed and once grumble is out, saronite is out as well. The problem with bog slosher is that it will give you a 9 cost shudderwock which you will be unable to play on the same turn, making your finisher much slower

In terms of decks people are thinking won't work for Paladin, Trump thinks that Healidin won't work and I agree with him to some degree.

I took your idea for rush dragon warrior and made it an abomination by throwing in keleseth. I've never climbed so fast in my life

I feel for the mid-range beast hunter list you take secret Hunter and only use late game beasts as minions so you get some good zuljin/masters call synergy maybe even run dire frenzy For rogue I'm thinking kinda your build but more tempo and you run Hooktusk and vendor, shuffling vendor to get a 15/9 burst and draw Last note, Miracle shaman?

What happened with spell Hunter. That Deck owns potential that shouldnt be underestimated.

So happy that warrior seems good, hell even if the hybrid isn't that good i'll still play it. Good riddance. What do you think about even shaman? Krag'wa seems to compliment it well with hagatha, don't know if I should craft krag'wa for it or not.

In my personal opinion the spirit of the dead prince k underrated

Would argue a more control based odd mage would work better with frost lich jaina as a better finisher. The list you posted just...seems to rely too much on zoo since odd cards lack fireball, frostbolt, pyroblast, etc. If jan'alai gets answered you just don't have a push outside hoping on cards. Would also argue Dragon's Roar was notably forgotten by you. It probably might not fit into your deck, but it wasn't even flashed on screen, and adding 2 dragons is insaaaaane compared to card draw, there's practically no bad dragons for you to get. Finally, you might consider the death knight Uther card in that list, not as a combo, but just as a solid card with 15 damage and healing linked to it, which would work BEAUTIFULLY with thekal, and the extra weapon (you only have two truesilvers) works really well with time out. God forbid your nightmare of a rogue deck would work though. I never want to see the darkness and graal in the same deck ever. I am terrified. (I agree with most of your assumptions though. Priest is gonna be weird, no matter what happens, it will be *weird*. And I DO see deathrattle hunter slotting in Oondasta well. Imagine an empty board, and you play Katrina, play dead, get Oondasta who overkills and summons a king krush or something you drew in your hand, and play dead grabs a charged devilsaur, and suddenly you have like 28 damage on board without any keleseth buffs....yikers)
