Sry guys you will have to deal with the imba 480p quality. This video was uploaded 2 or so days ago and RU-vid still didn't manage to process HD. Maybe they just forgot about it :P thanks google. So I wouldn't expect it to be available in HD anytime soon. Better skip this one if you can't handle the SDness. Sometimes for some weird reason this just happens. Sigh. ~ Jens

It all depends on having that 1 "Magical" card, if you know what i mean. I rarely lose to a mage without his "magic", if you know what i mean. Once i played with a dude who had 4 FSs in his deck. I cried....

I mean, Shaman can just generally be weak to Mage. No heals to get out of double fireball/Pyro range, few cards that can tank flamestrike, and zerg tactics can be hard to manage because of lightning storm being rare. You wanna beat Mages easily? Pick Priest. So many minions late game that Flamestrike only tickles. Usually the only way to lose is if you totally draw like crap.

I don't really see his reasoning to throwing Billy back if it's in his opening hand against a Mage. The card is not ever going to get value, so may as well play it on turn one so that it at least slows the Mage down. If you play it later on when you draw it, the Mage has no trouble spending two mana to kill it. Even if Billy only pops the Argent Squire's Divine Shield, that's probably the best it can accomplish, so may as well go for that. If he had buff cards like Sun Shattered or Defender, then I can understand throwing it back so it can get buffed later, but he didn't have a single health buffing card. In a deck with so many late game wonders, getting value out of every single card is unnecessary. I'd much rather lose some card advantage in exchange for board control early game. It's especially worth it as a Shaman because if you have the board, you can get card advantage back later with Flametongue.

by reasoning like that, you'll have a card disadvantage at the very beginning of the match. by replacing it you have a chance to get a useful card

its true that he will not get more value but billy is way worse than some others early game cards he could get that is why you reroll it and ofc its a mage so it dies for free :/ AND FOR SOME THAT HAVEN'T NOTICED BILLY GAVE TRUMP A MURLOC IN THE PACK !

Trump was just being silly when he tossed Murloc Raider. Murloc Raider is the only 1-drop in his deck that's playable on an empty board, why toss it? Drawing Billy in a topdecking war is way more likely to lose you the game than playing him on turn 1.

The reason is that you have at least an average chance of never drawing the card before the end as most matches are decided before the 15th draw.
