Did you actually watch it or go to another window while it played out? Because they can tell if you did. Even if you just scrolled down to read the comments they'd know. Whenever one of those youtube survey ads come up the 15 second timer pauses unless the video is active window and currently on my screen. Hate those things. I get all passive aggressive and refuse to answer the survey and sit through the timer in a form of impotent protest. Man I must have really wanted to vent about those stupid surveys to shoehorn it into a reply to a comment that had nothing to do with it. Please don't take this post as a criticism. I also like to support the channels I watch and have Adblock turned off on RU-vid. I probably shouldn't even post this reply. But I will anyways as a way to show my support of your comment and to feed the beast inside that craves validation which I usually try to pretend doesn't exist. Does this feel weird now? I made it weird didn't I?
imaytag Yeah I sat through the whole thing. I might have scrolled down once or twice but it was an actually interesting add. It was about glass in the modern age. Pretty neat stuff actually. I don't mind the long response :D
Can I have the comment section's votes on something? We all know that Vanish is pretty bad, and with the expansion coming up it may become even more obsolete. So what would people think if Vanish was changed so that "any minions returned to *your* hand cost 1 less"? Who thinks it may work as a useful, and not OP card (upvote this)...
Rogue Wisdom in the next expac there's kind of a big probability of a mill deck, so then vanish will be playable anyways. this might make the card OP, but I'm not sure about this since I haven't played the next expansion yet of course.
Immortal Panda I honestly couldn't care less either way. But if you really feel like you disagree with the statement and that I'm scrounging for 'ups', keep in mind that upvoting the side comment could be viewed as a downvote to a degree.
Its hard to say if it would make it playable or not... probably not imo, this card is just complete garbage, i think it would require quite the buff to become about average.
In that last game Trump should have killed the drake with his yeti and then hit face and vanished. Trump seemed to be forgetting that vanish gives you the opportunity to trade your minion's life away then vanish to get them back. He could have even replayed the yeti at full health. The game probably still would have ended in a loss, but I think Trump is not thinking through the full possibilities of vanish.
Trump misplayed slightly in the last game, healing himself for 2 instead of 3 after trading, leaving him to die perfectly to pyroblast later. In a perfect world, from where he was on the board, he still would not have had lethal no matter what combination of cards he may have drawn, the only option being Azure Drake into Shiv into Eviscerate, leaving him one mana short of lethal. But it's still notable.
I think in the shaman game Trump should've used vanish to wipe 6 enemies from the board (even if there was a juggler), and then eviscerated the face and blade it for 5 damage. The turn after, while the shaman played all his crap out again, he'd be at 4 health, and Trump could just fish for the second eviscerate with Sprint.
3rd game was missed lethal, Hit the feral + Flurry, use one whelp, cold blood whelp, face all 3 evis, then hit face with whelps (4 + 5 + 15 + 1 from the flurry = 25)
Assuming you actually mean the fourth game. It's 1 from Blade Flurry, 9 damage from whelps and then 12 damage from Evisc. = 22 Damage. Eviscerate is 4 damage, not 5.
9:00 I would hold both tiger and weapon, next turn Azure Drake + Kobolt + Blade Flurry = 4 dmg to all so you clear this Brewmaster and 2 totems + dmg anything he plays and finish with tiger if needed.
Can someone explain to me why - when I'm playing as rogue, and I'm second - my starting hand always has Defias Ringleader? Is it a rule like "Warrior always has Fiery War Axe on his second turn"?
I play hearthstone for already a year and I haven't seen Vanish played against me even ONCE. I even failed to realise that it returns YOUR minions to the hand as well
Hey man i just subbed :) New to this game, great videos ! really learning fast thanks to you... i have one question. How do you put that "bar of cards u used/didnt use" on the left? Its kinda super helpful !
Hearthstone is a game where the worst possible thing always happens. Mage flamestrikes your superior board everytime at turn seven, Onyxia gets copied at turn nine, Gelbin backstabs you by healing your opponent three turns in a row...
If he vanishes he loses anyways because theres no way Trump can burst him down next turn and after mage plays leper gnome hes at the same place as before.
Jeffery Xu To be precise: 1. Trump hits with everything and plays vanish->Yeti... opponent is at 19. 2. Opponent replays Leper Gnome 3. Trump hits with Yeti, dagger and eviscerate for 9.... opponent is at 10. At this point, we consider the draw... the MOST possible damage for Trump to draw into is Shiv -> Eviscerate, which is only 5 damage and doesn't give him lethal. Another option is drawing Azure Drake -> Eviscerate, which doesn't allow for enough mana for dagger, but adds up to the same "5 hp left for opponent" situation. Miss out on dagger and Shiv, but get +2 damage from spell power Eviscerates. With no healing left in the deck, Trump was left with no way to counteract Pyroblast effectively.
Well, it allowed him to win without playing double eviscerate. From his opponent's point of view it wouldn't necessarily look like BM since he had exact lethal once the taunts were gone. Dying to double eviscerate is like dying to double kill command. It's depressing because there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. That's the kind of BM I expect from Trump: creative and with a bit of niceness mixed in.
I actually had only 2 health and the hunter had 30 and i made a comback i used armor every turn and wiped his huge board and then using taunt i managed to build up a board and get an enrage combo and he eventually got fucked. Just goes to show you can come back from anything.
You can't come back from anything and you know it -_- how can a Rogue come back on a Hunter with only 2 health left? With nothing to cancel out his hero ability, it is most certainly ggs. But I get your point, never give up, death lord sucks, etc.
Duncan Van Ooyen ***** lol I actually love how you both misunderstood his comment. He did not think he was playing rouge. His just denied a fact "You can come back from everything" with the example of Rogue vs Hunter (Rogue having 2 health).
Why did he not shoot the Perditions into the Spectral Knight instead of wasting 4HP whacking it with his face. Peridition's Battlecry does not count as a spell.
Perdition's blade does 1 damage shot without comboing, so Spectral knight would be at 5 health after shooting it. At that point there would be no way for Trump to deal 5 damage without overdamaging for 1. He could get 2 damage shot with the blade by comboing with scrub, but he would lose a 2/1.
Fracking Pyroblast. Sure, if you're not in a decent position anyway it won't win you the game, but I've lost a fair amount of games over my arena career where I have board control, but then in their last two turns my opponent just goes something like Fireball+Fireblast, Pyroblast. Woohoo, 57% of my life total without even interacting with the board - seems fair. :-P
