Handlock is a heavy control deck that abuses its Hero Power to draw many cards very early on to empower minions like Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake while being very defensive at the same time with Molten Giants and a lot of taunt givers.

classic handlock will always be my favorite hearthstone deck of all time, it is filled with resource management. This will be the first deck i'll play when classic mode gets installed.

Milkeon The Cute You can't call that a missplay just because he would survive. Rather than just looking for a way to win, it's much more correct to look for your win condition. Trump thought his win condition lay in getting big taunts up for combo turn. After topdecking mountain giant, I think healbot is an appropriate play since next turn giant shadowflame works (after healbot, molten shadowflame probably won't be possible which is why I think the play was only correct post tap). However, I'm quite certain that because he took too much time talking through his plays, he didn't actually think through his plays enough.

U play this game to win a Match. Not to deny a loose. If u play to 'Not loose' u simply delay ur death, because the pressure will overwhelm u. Like trump said: He will need the Taunt of the Sunfury protector for the molten giants.

What i don't like about this deck is that if you don't have specific cards by turn 4, its shit. You will have lost so much health and it becomes dangerous with classes that have combos and can ignore taunts. Also against a hunter, by turn 4 you will have taken 16+ damage from your own ability plus the hunter ability (8 each) then in addition any damage from minions on the board which you would be ignoring because all you are doing is tapping or playing ancient watchers which just sit on the board. So a turn 1, 2 damage minion (say lepper gnome) will have dealt 6 damage by turn 4, plus 2 damage on death, in addition to the 16 damage that is 24 damage, then you have to consider if the hunter plays another 1 mana minion on turn 3, thats an extra 2 damage on turn 4, now thats 26 damage. You can potentially be left with 4 health by turn 4, there are lots of cards which can kill you instantly at 4 health. You could coin antique kill bot and bring yourself up to 12 health, but in most situations, on turn 5 at 12 health you are screwed.

Cloud Strife well thats why you keep stuff like watchers, owls, sunfury, hellfire against hunters. Another key factor are the taunted moltens you can place really early against a face hunter, if they dont have hunter's mark its so good

Something I realized recently is that your idea of how much burst the opponent can do may not always be accurate. Not long ago I played against a warrior that seemed to play a lot of patron cards, with some wierd things splashed in. I fell down to 8 hp with a good chance to win next turn, I decided not to tap even though I could not see a real way the warrior could burst 6 damage. Next turn he played war axe and then kor'kron elite. Tapping would've lost me that game. Moral of the story: look out for wierd cards in your opponent's deck, sometimes your assumption of their burst can be way off.

In the game against Anhell you missed lethal. Instead of tap, sylvannas, you could have hellfired to kill the 3/2 belcher, argus the mountain giant, use dr boom to kill the slime, hit face for 9 to win the game.
