@@daovictoria I really hope they add Nax and GvG to classic like they have talked about. Classic is fun and all, but the cardpool is really small, and the opportunity to expand the meta is non-existent because there isn't really anything to try and tech that hasn't been done already. Adding Nax and GvG would really help it become not as stagnant

Seraphim Wolf Draw Sylvanas, Ysera and Grom in opening hand; ditch all of them and mulligan a Shield Maiden, Dr. Boom and Alexstraza. Spend the next 5 turns armoring up. GG. WP. Any Control Warrior will tell you this is the only downside to this deck - you are dictated as to how well any game will go by your card draw. Trump mentions this briefly about half way through the video. I RARELY mulligan a Fiery War Axe, even when I ditch my opening hand. I honestly don't remember seeing an opening hand which had Win Axe, Taskmaster, Acolyte AND Armorsmith. It's unreal. Literally the dream hand.

VIGIL You rarely mulligan Fiery Win Axe? I end up with it about 70% of my starting hands. And it feels like 90% against my opponent, but I'm just seeing what I want to see to avoid salt when I face patron warriors.

You cannot play control warrior then. This deck is the archetype of control via super strong legendaries. It gets pretty bad without these. Each deck has a "win condition", I.e. A combo, set up or something in general that wins the games (on paper). Control warrior has enraged grommash (you need deaths bite etc), Alex, other strong minions for pressure etc. I'm sorry to tell you that. Even dragon or bolster warrior are expensive.

Milkeon The Cute On the 25-5 ladder every one of them is viable thanks to diversity in decks. Unfortunately higher ranks are swarming with Patron Warriors. It hurts Midrange Paladin, Ramp Druid and Priests the most since they are bad against Patrons and aren't usually good against most Patron counters either.

Rinno866 it means the gold you have to spend to get the cards from Naxxramas/Blackrock Mountain to unlock the wings from it. Sludge Belcher for example is in the fourth wing in naxx and you need 2800 gold to unlock it.

If you see: Gnomish inventor, 0 mana spell one damage that I forgot name of, frothing bereserker, or them passing without armoring up on turn two means it is patron. Sledge belcher and shield blocks + shield slams are good signs It is control.

Usually control warriors will put armor above all else. Armor Up into pass and Shield Block is usually a dead give away, but some older patrons run it too. Normally you'll see Armorsmith in the early game. Patron will try to damage themselves to get battle rage. Card draw and self damage like inner rage or slam are staples which you'll see early on. Here they'll usually save Armorsmith for combo to get 10+ armor.

***** As in, no hero power, just pass. They want to take damage to draw more cards in the future.

See on turn 3 when they acolyte and use inner rage on it, one of the biggest giveaways.

no you can't, brawl is the only true board clear in this deck and acolyte is your main draw power in the deck.

Mac Musial Yes it was. AscendedFish Yes it was because if which ever minion on the enemies board survived; he'd be able to kill it will the deathsbite while triggering hellscream for a garanteed lethal.

Creeo he had an inferno with taunt, sunfury with taunt, sunfury (no taunt) and an ancient watcher with taunt so no it wasn't lethal.

Creeo He would need 11 mana to do it.

Baron is really risky because of the popularity of Patron. There are times in late game when the combo is out that make him unplayable.

the gold value is how much gold it takes to buy the naxx and blackrock wings, so if i needed to get loatheb and emperor for my deck it would cost me 2,100 gold

+Remy Lebeau I would like a "which card for what" video, where he explains, when certain cards should be implemented (also tech cards). Although it is clear for many cards (harrison, baron geddon etc), it affects slots in the deck, so one would have to swap (and that's difficult sometimes). And in the end these videos are for beginners/intermediates, who want to learn specific deck-archetypes, so I guess it would he very helpful.

ozzin22 You can't play this deck. If you didn't have one or two of them it might be feasible, but Grommash and Sylvanas especially are completely key to the deck. Try Patron instead.

ozzin22 While Ysera can be replaced by other big stuff, Grommash and Sylvanas plays too big of a roll in the deck to be replaced. If you still really want to plat the deck, you can put in some other large creatures which don't rely on staying alive to grant you good value, such as ragnaros, Nefarian or even Baron Geddon. But keep in mind that your deck will be much weaker then a normal control warrior without Grommash.

ozzin22 There's a reason this deck is nicknamed Wallet Warrior. It needs those expensive legendaries.

ozzin22 Absolutely do not play this deck without two copies of Shield Slam and one copy of Brawl. These spells are premium removal, which is something that cannot be replaced in Warrior. If you want to play Control Warrior, get those first. Then, you can start playing the deck. Albeit a particularly weak version. Remember, those legendaries are "just" big creatures. They're the absolue best big creatures in the game, but they're still "just" big creatures and can theoretically be replaced by any other big creature. So, you get your Shield Slams, you get one Brawl, and you build a crippled version of the deck to start enjoying while you work toward the finished version. What next? The next card you should focus on getting is Sylvanas. There are a lot of cute tricks you can play with Sylv that make her one of the biggest threats that you can possibly play. From there, get, in this order: Grommash, Brawl #2, Ysera, Alex, Harrison, and Thaurissan. At that point, you'll have the finished deck. In the meantime, (AFTER getting one Brawl and two Shield Slams, I'm repeating this to make sure that anyone reading knows that they absolutely should not attempt to play the deck without those), you can replace the missing seven cards with the following: Loatheb, Kel'Thuzad, Sunwalker (x2), Spectral Knight (x2), and Boulderfist Ogre. I'm assuming you have Naxxramas at least with this list (and can afford to shell out for Rares). If you don't have Naxx, you can use another Boulderfist Ogre, a Stormwind Champion, and two copies of Force-Tank MAXX to replace Loatheb, Kel, and the Spectral Knights.
