Rather have it with four wheels better stability. If you get a flat tire while you are driving the trailer will possibly flip over on it's side or worst. Two battery holder up front would be better also. But it is a nice design inside.
moose656 The only thing I didn't like is the constant mention about 'the competitors'. I could understand a couple times but it was really getting obnoxious. Just mention the items, people will know. Just my opinion.
Anthony Coppola I agree Anthony. I liked the trailer but am really turned off by the constant usage of compairing it to our competitors. Very annoying!!!!!
MPG TRAILER IS VERY IMPRESSIVE. !!.LOTS OF GOOD STANDARD OPTIONS .PERFECT FOR RETIRED PERSONS , "NO MORE RENT PAYMENTS." !!.FREE LIKE A BIRD !!.😲😨😅😆😎💕💖👍..
When they showed the shot of the guys building the trailer - the two guys dropped the black water tank in place, one guy fastened down the strap to hold it in place, the other guy left his jammed underneath and walked away. Great build quality indeed.
I worked for top name rv manufacturing company in Australia. The cheapest pop up they sell is $21k. You can't believe some of the shoddy crap I saw go on. I wouldn't buy one.
I was born and raised in NYC and if I wanted to re-learn how to speak English, or if I was a foreigner learning English for the first time, that is the person I would want to have as my teacher! Absolutely clear pronunciation with no regional accent that I can discern! Must be a Midwesterner. LOL
Excellent professional presentation. Great speaking voice, and I loved the fact that there was no loud thumping music in the back round, really enjoyed watching this! ^^
My only question is will the aluminum exterior stand up to an Oklahoma thunderstorm with high winds and hail. hail, and more hail. As this video was posted 10 years ago so it's just clutter.
I'm 61;no kids (fur babies);no husband; work & go to school! This has all I need! Bed,roof, bathroom and most RV parks cost $30 per night! That's full hook-ups! The 30 gal black, grey & fresh h²O tank's are more than I've found so far.i love the beaufor floors! Heartland is the rigs I've been thinking of getting the North Trail 22RBK but after seeing this one, I'm starting to rethink the choice.
Ok, let's see, this was 2010, what's the chances this company is still in bidness? Galileo, Earthbound had good product, but belly up now. Look good, I'll check it out, if a dealer is not on moon from me! Nooooo, sink should be flush with counter. Gets water all over. Pat, ye did a good job. Daggone, were you born talking like that? Heheheeee
Super Video! I just purchased a sweet used 2011 Heartland mpg and love it! It's a shame they don't make it anymore. With us Baby Boomers retiring this would be a winner now!
Everybody that owns a home should have one of these in case the city water goes out or the power! That way you can have a place to piss, shit and take a bath!!
Not making it anymore, it was too good, the schiesters making the junk probably ran them out of business! this is one of the closest to the nice european-made ones I've seen
Not crazy about the name, but the features are nice and the interior is nice and bright. I would rather have a regular awning than that big add a room that might make it a bit tight on some campsites. The salesman was awesome.
Don`t know your surrounding roads but you wouldbe able to pull it on flattype roads ,highway use would be very hard on your motor and the 4 cyl. just won`t have enoughfor any hills ,even on the flat roads you will only get half the gas milage you do empty ,I myself used to get 12 mpg pulling my 2200 lb trailer with my 88 s10 with a 2.8 ltr. v6 ,I swapped it out and put in a 267 v8 and now get 18 mpg pulling it. The bigger motor works less because of the increased Torque ...
Im thinking about living in a camper when I go off to college but I only have a 3.8l v6 Bonneville to tow with and it's max capacity is 2000 pounds.. and if im living in a camper for 3 years I need something that I can shower, toilet, stove and a bed/table, and CHEAP. Does anyone know if these show up on craigslist at times?
I like the 'competitor' thing. It differentiates. Now, if you made this all aluminum (no paint) you'd have a seller! I don't like the graphics much. Cash in on the AirStream style.
@dezziwood555 Most six cylinders today are perfectly capable of towing 3000lbs, however it is close to their limit- so you wouldn't want to put anything else in the trailer lol
If you're pulling even a small trailer, you'll get easier towing AND better gas mileage with even a small V8. Teardrops are usually a small sleep/storage trailer- many with an outside kitchen (covered) at the rear. They are not for those who want to sit at a table inside when it rains and who want a bathroom.
+WildAndLiving my brother restores these "canned ham" trailers, they actually sell pretty well and for 6-8 k a pop and almost of them didn't have a bathroom. I didn't research this particular model, but I wouldn't doubt it has something to do with the price point. Gas is another contributing factor. People just don't camp, like they use to.
Interesting, but there are a few thing's that I would change in it. Replace wooden components with plastic (edging) or aluminium (cabinets). That would reduce weight while increasing cabinet space. Other than that, a custom paint job (NOT camouflage), thinner foam padding for seats/beds (I'm not into luxury, I prefer utility).
All you need now is a DRIVING RV like 2011 Heartland!I've always Dreamed of owning a Travel camper,or evven a RV. But I had to go on disabilty that ended when I had to quite Working ! But that didn"t stop me" DREAMING",Thank You for having these on Utub !!
