With regard to the story with the overreaching mother - recently a TikTock woman who did the same with her children was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment per child (i.e. a total of 60 years) for child abuse, because withholding food, refusing a place to sleep, etc. is active abuse and a violation of the parental duty of care. If this happens to you, go to youth protection and report it there, kids. It may be difficult to justify reporting your own parents to yourself, but this behaviour is not okay and will not improve if no one intervenes from the outside.

People forget because it's so common that acetominophen/paracetamol (the active ingredient in Tylenol) can actually be quite dangerous because of how common it is. It's toxic to the liver in high doses, and is the most common overdose in the Western world.

Toilet paper story. It was during the Pandemic & that the TP hoarding was still a thing. I went shopping & to my surprise TP was on the shelf. I grabbed one packet. I noticed multiple signs clearly stating that no more than 2 packs per person each day. I continued with my shopping. I then went to check out. I saw a Karen yelling loudly at the clerk & manager. I glanced & noticed the only thing in her cart were packets of TP. The manager refused to let her purchase any more than two packages. She shrieked how this was illegal & how she would call corporate & get the manager fired. The manager pointed out that 2 per day policy was instituted by Corporate. The manager asked if she wanted to make the 2 package purchase now & she could return tomorrow to buy still more TP packages. If she was not going to buy the items she might want to leave. She did buy her treasures & left making dire threats. Ever time I returned to that store there was always some TP available.

The TP OP should have kept some of the baby wipes. After all, the TP hoarder took all the toilet paper and they still need to be able to wipe.
