I usually proceed to invade Belgium and Luxembourg afterwards with the focus war goal. Also, if you release Curacao and Suriname as puppets while you are doing the Decolonization focus, you still keep them as puppets.

21:51 For anyone who missed it, FBG's manpower pool jumped 17k when he added just two more cavalry divisions to his garrison template. I hate it and it's cheesy, but for anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, 50w Cavalry division with armoured recon and MP support is the best (only?) way to preserve your manpower and equipment. Stack that suppression as high as it'll go.

Dear feedbackgaming i achieved this achievement yesterday by staying democratic and fortified borders with Germany. I also united Benelux through focus tree and joined allies. I waited Soviets and germany to start a war of attrition and it all went smoothly. I just share my experience with you. Keep the great work you are doing. I really enjoy your content.

for coastal defence you can use fallback line coupled with the garrison order. this way you can add some divisions defending key areas where enemy ai tends to land.

I did this legit on the Non Aligned Path. All you need to do is get a level 7 fort line on the exact minimal amount of tiles that need to be held, get AT to pierce their tanks, and AA so the CAS doesn't bomb your forts.

The "Free military" at around 8:30 is all named "KNIL [something]". That would be the Indonesians that served the colonial rulers that probably weren't welcome anymore after Indonesia gained independance. Happened IRL, too, but not untill after the Indonesian National Revolution in the late 40s.

I have actually done this achievement as the rightmost democratic path, create the benelux, annex both belgium and luxembourgh, then disband the alliance and join the allies once a war starts, meanwhile keep getting up and annexing, then re-releasing the Dutch east indies for manpower and army units. You end up with either an army of higher quality but near equal size to the early game French army or second option a larger but lower quality army, though admittedly doing it this way was easier during the time when the army xp single division still existed. In addition you can just build up fortresses on the borders

You could also do in this run tour de France achievement just by asking Italy for French cores and using bicycles to suppress resistance.

Weird thing i got this achievement after losing control of the friesland state(stil held onto the utrecht province). might have been bugged back then tough. on another note the sad thing of the focus tree is that you get to much industry and infastructere if you build some yourself. For fun just go to the tree and count how many factories and infastructere you get.(keep in mind that after the zuiderzee works its a choice where you want them) Also kinda BS that as soon as you lose one bit af a state that the focus for zuiderzee just cancels. Not stops cancels. Dont use the garrison order the way you did not gonne work troops will sometimes just leave to support somewhere else. A frend of told me how to use it. You set the garrison order on some random island(like the ABC islands) somewhere and then turn of all the missions. Manually move them to the right position. you get the army size bonus from garrison order and they wont move around.

Dangit Dave, you would find a way to cheese this one after I already got it going monarchist. And yes it was definitely one of the most difficult I'd gotten through. Even the end focus is only a minor help since it gives you standard 20-width infantry but they have no equipment so it really only preserves manpower. Also, it's pronounced "Zoo-durr-zee". Actually simpler than it looks, like some Dutch words.

treading the narrow path is actually pretty easy. you can keep being democratic and make divisions with aa and the manpower from the east indies. you are also allowed to loose some provinces actually, as long as you dont capitulate i think, i lost some parts of my provinces and still got my achivment it also helps to put a few troops on the southern frence front because otherwise they would fall eventually

Hey dave I have a good video idea for you. I found a way to create absolutely the best super OP Germany at the start of the game and figured you could make a video about it. So in La resistance France is guaranteeing independence of Czecoslovakia, Romania and Yugoslavia. What you do is start as Germany justify on Belgium, you dont even need to sink it up because the world tension wont reach 25 percent and Romania. you annex belgium. This will bring you, weak France which will capitulate if you capture Paris, Czecoslovakia and romania into war. And you get to annex them all. Whats even better that when you take out france and puppet one state for the navy - to steel later. You will get the event which makes you declare war on Yugoslavia. If it doesnt fire, try and relese Czecoslovakia but it should fire either way. Boom you control most of europe and its late 1937. While doing this you can also justify on Italy and then take them out, when you got the quick justification you can even include spain if theyve turned fascist yet. You annex little puppets of France and Italy for the navy and again boom easy sealion and youre pretty much unstopable. But the best is that you didnt even have to do the rhineland and when I did this I formed a the EU. And this is probably the easiest way to do so after they patched bypassing rhineland. Applies for HRE as well. Or you can just stick to Adolf and have a ptretty nice world conquest. Hope you see this and Ill be glad if you did a video about this :)

There is an advisor that adds an additional 250 manpower to haven of tolerance. So you can get a constant 750x52times a year.

I find that putting a fallback line along my coast is better for making my units actually stay and fight rather than wandering off randomly

Play on Fuhrerreich on Poland. There is a Path that gives you +1% weekly stability and war support. It's so OP when you conquer non core provinces. Rly try it out!

Just a tip to get the achievement easier just do the observe glitch and make Germany do the civil war and go democratic

I know I m late to the party but since I tried this achievement myself I would like to share a small but impactful tip especially for a minor. So by the time you do the focus that forces you to lose dutch east indies you can actually annex the dutch east indies through the puppet screen while sucking 1 million out of their manpower pool rerelease it and then take the focus before germany declares on you.

if you get lucky and turn of historical AI you can beat Germany in a year but you need to go down lead the minor democracies and hope Poland forms a faction and Germany focuses all there troops on Poland I got it first try but it took like ten hours because I have a not so good computer

You can also get massive piles of manpower by draining your colonies if you play monarchist. You can also do the Z works before the war starts and as long as you build your forts and send in hundreds of thousands of colonials into the meat grinder you won't lose a singe tile. Use your subs to prevent Japan's invasion of the DEI combined with some half assed colonial template units and you are good to go.

It's a bit less cheesy but imo the cave to Britain focus is a lot easier for Zuidersee. Maybe it's only on non-historic, but becoming the benelux with EU faction denying Munich is OP.
