Hearts of Iron IV is a grand strategy wargame developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive. Released on June 6, 2016, it is the sequel to Hearts of Iron III and part of the Hearts of Iron series of grand strategy games focusing on World War II. The player may take control of any nation in the world in either 1936 or 1939 and lead them to victory or defeat against other countries.

It kinda doesnt matter now anyway, as with new occupation system small nations really struggle to keep both garrisons and army with their small manpower. And this also means that conquering to gain resources and factories is not that effective. So yeah, this new system is nice and more realistic, but it also screws minor nations really badly

@@hopin8krzys I disagree that the new system is nice or realistic. To me what would be more realistic is if you calculated army xp as a ratio between the size of your nation(ie number of victory points) to your standing army size. The devs should use Bhutan and Communist china to come up with a good ratio to gain army XP. That's far more realistic imo.

For the actual exploit go to 20:55. You go to convert divisions to a non-special forces division template but before hitting confirm you change that template to special forces.

I've subscribed coz I was bad at the navy when MTG came out so I watched your guides and thought you deserve more subs, and im watching almost every video you upload since the last 3 months(i think?) Still a bit bad at navy mechanics btw

LightStix33 I suggest building as many naval bombers as you can, Naval bomber spam is as effective as CAS spam, just for the navy instead of the army. I usually do well just spamming submarines with naval bombers, you can decimate most of the enemy fleet with naval bombers and put a couple ships to get naval superiority to do a naval invasion. Or, just do a naval invasion as soon as you’re at war before the AI can move their ships against you

@@shep7544 My preferred tactic for navies, at least for countries with decent navies from the start (UK, US, France, Italy, Japan) is a bit different: 1) Refit all your destroyers with torpedo II or III staring with the crappiest ones (and maybe slap on a bigger gun and AA). 2) make a doom stack with your fleet, except the subs 3) put your subs on convoy raiding + always engage + auto-split + low repair 4) on the same zones you are convoy raiding, put your fleet on strike force (and move the fleet to a "close enough" port) What will happen is: the subs will attack a convoy, the enemy will send his fleet, your subs will "pin" this fleet long enough for your fleet to arrive, your fleet arrives and decimate the enemy fleet because of high torpedo+high small guns. That's the quickest way to annihilate enemy fleets. For smaller navies, CAS spam and/or rush for sub IV + always engage on the subs is working fine, but it takes longer. I'm a bit sad that the patrol order is so useless (unless you want to suicide your ships).

I subscribed because of a Hoi4 video about a Spanish Civil War exploit that worked before "La Resistance" DLC . You would get an enormous infantry division impossible to equip unless you have a enormous industry, thing is, when the Spanish Civil War fires your infantry divisons would be 80% equipped and you would get like 40 of them. And now you had mega op divisons at 80% equipment.

Super weird thing I just noticed: When you look at the falg icon/banner of Occitania, it is actually the correct banner in the subject menu at 28:50. But after you release Occitania, it has the flag/banner of Aquitaine. And it is even weirder that the term "Occitania" is intentionally used to make this regeion distinct from the rather "modern" region of "Aquitaine". Also: The have different flags! This flag makes absolutely no sense and I'm confused now. I could now tell you that the flag of Gascogne in EU4 ist actually identical to Aquitaine, but.... Stop messing with my head, Paradox! 🤣🙈 I love this game. 💙

Hoi4 easy, I tried the free trial thingy for Imperator and it has similar yet worse elements of CK2 UI design and more micro than Hoi4/EU4, uninstalled after a few hours - also you're a wizard at Hoi4 so there's that

Imperator Rome literally crashed before I clicked the play button on the main screen 3 seconds after I installed it. And then it wouldn’t even load so I uninstalled it.

I think I subbed/started watching you right before waking the tiger came out. It was a HOI4 video, I was really really terrible when I first started playing the game, and so I was looking up youtube videos to see how to better play the game. I remember I was so happy when I finally was able to do Operation Sealion and win the war as Germany without any cheese strats.
