I saw a spoiler saying "OMG 7-S is powerwash simulator" and legitimately thought it was a joke, the moment I went through the exit and saw the tools, I just couldn't.
I love how the start of the level has you just mindlessly killing enemies for a while and then you get the cleaning equipment and realize "oh my god bro i have to clean that shit up?" like you realize in that moment that you actually were progressively digging your own grave with every encounter the entire time, a true "are you kidding me" moment
7-1 enemy: sinners stuffed into shells 7-2 enemy: literal killing machines 7-3 enemy: LowTierGod victims 7-4 enemy: a walking city 7-S enemy: the consequences of your own actions
The VN also kinda had a setup, although much shorter, and you can kinda count S-0 as well if you want because you dont have any expectations there yet.
Usually the setup is going through the normal levels to unlock the secret, but yeah I agree that here the setup is a lot better. Also the Luigi's Mansion easter egg was sick.
I like how this level symbolizes the violence layer's message and forces you to look back and look at all the violence you caused by cleaning it all up
@@bull1085y'know I'd happily do that. I love the idea of a messy fps that also makes you backtrack and clean up your mess. I'd genuinely play a game full of just that.
Cleaning, whether it be your messy room or a pileup you didn't notice, may seem daunting at first. But remember, cleaning is a very self-fulfilling task. You'll thank yourself when you're finished, and you'll be happier than you would ever be if you didn't clean up at all. Believe in yourself, you got this.
Security system KICKS V1 OUT OF THE EARTHMOVER, causing it to ATTACK THE CITY, MAKING HIM HAVE TO DO COMMUNITY SERVICE DESPITE FOR ALL THE DAMAGE DONE DESPITE IT ALL BEING V2'S FAULT!!! GRAH, FUCK THIS EPISODE!!!!!!!!! 👿👿👿👿👿
it's the library of babel without a word it speaks volumes of lore. (sorry if this sentence doesn't make any sense in english, i wanted to make it sound cooler)
All of the secret levels on this game layer have something related to their respective layer if you think about it. • 0-S as a horror level at the very start of your adventure might be a foreshadowing about the horrors you may find across your journey through the layers of hell. • 1-S as a puzzle level puts your mind in a limbo. You just solve puzzles in a calm place, in a place where the only thing you can do is to focus into solve those puzzles. • 2-S as a dating simulator in the lust layer it’s clearly a reference to the love the people had for other people. • 4-S as a platformer level might me a reference about how people get really greedy about trying to get the 100% of some games, as you had to do to get the clash cheat. • 5-S as a fishing level might me a reference about the wrath we express to the fish when we just kidnap them, sink them, and then eat them just for our pleasure. • And finally, 7-S as washing simulator might be a reference about the disaster that Violence causes across the world, and how humanity feels forced to fix, solve and literally clean the problems they themselves created. This is a thought I had while playing the level, and felt like I could elaborate more on it to share it on internet.
@@cataclysmi i think the big time save was cuz i killed most enemies in a room around the same place, making so i had less blood to clean ( for the yard place, i killed all enemies in a corner since they all went there while im killing hideous)
@@blockoboi5941 No offense but it's a little absurd to not expect people to talk about a level in the comments of a video that specifically relates to said level. What else are people supposed to talk about? Why are you here in the first place if you haven't played the update?
@@loading...4091 dude, it is A SINGLE hour after the release of it. If it was "7-S preview", then your complaints would be justified. this is the MUSIC release. it shows the MUSIC, not the LEVEL. So why spoil the LEVEL on the MUSIC video??
This level is... Oddly mournful. It's kind of weird because during all of the violence layer we felt either the pain and suffering of hell's denizens in 7-1, the way war stole humanity of itself for a long time and the absolute melancholy of those who could not bear the hell that now lies 7 circles above them and the music made all those feelings and silent tragedies be felt and heard. But this feels just like the boredom of an eternity in hell. Almost as if the pain of eternal stillness and wandering throughout hell has erased you totally and there's just one witness left who just gets to see you as an ornament because in a way that's what hell has made of you.
"Damn that last fight was really hard, and i can see the end of the level." "I suppose Hakita ran out of ideas for the secret levels and just made a cool arena to fight things instead." "It's a shame that it's over already"
"it looks like a normal level..." "It's literally a normal level" "That's it???" "Oh fuck now I gotta clean everything" "This is just a power wash simulator"
@@notjebbutstillakerbal there should have been a rank system thing for this level (like on normal levels) so that you would need to go through that cave thing and break the glass to get an s in kills
i was walking towards the door disappointed with how 7-s was. “thats it?? this wasnt anything new, just a regular level…” i thought to myself. but when all hope was lost… *”CLEAN UP YOUR MESS”* words could not express how happy i was. hakita cooked again
I love this secret level so much When i got to the reveal that this is a spoof of Powerwash Simulator, i was fucking Giddy I happily cleaned away all of the blood stains and viscera with a smile on my face I have over 240 hours on Powerwash Simulator This has made my day, thank you Hakita for yet again re-affirming the brilliance of this game
honestly this level was a really nice change of pace and very relaxing, at first it seemed like an impossible task especially when i saw the mess i made in the pond but as soon as i took out the plug i realised this was gonna be easier than i thought
This music really sold the power-washing simulator this secret level was. It made me feel the same, if not more relaxed than playing the OG game. Hats off to you, Hakita, I can’t wait to see what comes next.
"Open the curtains, Lights on, Let's take a moment on this experiment Oh, the book is strange, Like clockwork orange, Keep your eyes buttered till the end..."
Thats yet another project moon reference man is there an overlap between PM and ultrakill fans or something Makes sense actually they're both notoriously gay
Yo Hakita I don’t want to trauma dump on you or anything but when I was playing the secret level my mom came into my room and said my cat Hope died. She apparently had bladder problems a good 2 days ago and we had to rush her to the vet, they were going to do emergency surgery but they had to delay it because her blood pressure was low so they had to get it to rise, then it got too high so they had to delay it again. But now they did surgery and well her bladder was way to messed up so they had to put her down… it is a sad day today and she is getting cremated so playing ultrakill one of my favorite games in this time of morning is really cheering me up so all I can say is thanks… for everything you have done… I love your game, it’s just amazing so all I can say is thank you Sorry for the bad grammar I am just really really sad and I was crying a lot so my eyes were blurry but thank you Hakita and god bless your soul and your team
was really confused about what the joke of this level was supposed to be while playing it got to the end and saw what i had to do, got up out of my chair and laughed my ass off for a solid minute thank you hakita you evil bastard
yall know what we need to do as a fandom right draw Mirage (or better yet, V1 itself) in a maid uniform. update: I looked it up on tumblr and by God it DELIVERED.
Hakita, the other day I went to play Risk of Rain 2 with my friends and I instinctively tried to slide jump. Thanks for busting my brain, I’m looking forward to the full release 👍
Every time something new releases. I can feel a tad bit of weight lifted off my shoulders. We love you Hakita, the fact that you and your small team are able to cook up one of the greatest games of the century, even though unfinished. One of the greatest games this century. In such a small time is incredible. You outweigh almost every other gaming company, just by the fact that you know what you’re doing. You know how to make your player base happy. We love you Hakita.
9/10 great service. The machine did request payment of blood. I was confused about what he meant until he massacred my staff and visitors to my library. He even killed my lifeguard! But after he was done. He did the best cleaning that violence has seen. The fucking walls are so shiny that it's like I'm looking in a mirror! Even the carpet looks brand new. The reason why I'm not giving this machine a 10/10 is the mold and minor water damage. It used a pressure washer to clean this place.
I'm still cleaning the level right now, I've been playing Powerwash Simulator recently so I was ready for it, but it's funny because this is the total opposite of what an ULTRAKILL player is expected to play
@@Switchblade1013- yeah that's the joke, you get in ready to kick ass at the speed of sound, but the game tells you to clean the whole level patiently over the course of 50 minutes, you can be sure a lot of people haven't completed this level because of lack of patience, which is funny
This song made me question my life choices, what I have made to get here in the first place, and what my future might lead to while cleaning up the place. 11/10, would recommend.
I absolutely cannot believe that you actually did this... The sheer look of pain in my eyes was clear even to the blind... What he did? Who knows, I'm not spoiling
This one made me realize just how much brainstorming, programming, and fine-tuning there is going on here to make Ultrakill as exceptional as it is. Normally the blood splatter and gore physics are simply afterthoughts to a player, but this level is (among many good things) a very close and personal walkthrough of the level of dedication it took to create those afterthoughts and have them spray across every environment you fight in. A lot of time and effort went into the game's pixellated and low-poly viscera- and by the end you've probably learned to appreciate all of it yourself.
In fact, all of the secret levels embody the developers' programming expertise, I think. Greed, for instance, makes you appreciate how well they've crafted Ultrakill's controls, both the default and the clash mode. The movement in this game has so much personality and snappiness and momentum, and having that taken away for a tricky Crash Bandicoot-esque adventure sure makes you miss it.
I could insert some stupid joke here, but the only thing I want to say is that I'm very grateful for this music. Seriously, it's just somehow feels like I always needed it without knowing it. Incredibly soothing for my overloaded, overthinking, and stressed out to the depths of hell mind. Thank you, Hakita, you beautiful bastard =)
