killing it gives you size 1 of levathian and catching it 5 times will give you the femboy fishy boss fight (as gianni mentioned in the stream) which afterwards will give size 2
5% chance of a fullsized maurice to come out when you throw a malicious bait into the blood pond and you have to use the fullsized malicious bait in the ocean to get the leviathan
As simple as it might be, it's got to be the most unique theme in the entire game. And you've gotta hand it to Hakita, he's a master with every type of music.
Size 2 is either the most confounding and obscenely difficult challenge in ULTRAKILL, or it's biggest troll towards the player. Both possibilities are peak Hakita. (Anyways this track is really nice and cozy, great work.)
when you revealed that sisyphus was aquatic and jumped into the sea, kickstarting this level i clapped. such an intense song for this battle, i was at the edge of my seat!
The only chill song in ultrakill that doesn't have a catch behind it, like how "A thousand greetings" and "Sunshine" do. This is just plain old fishing, and it somehow fits perfectly in a game about hyperactivity, massacre, destruction and chaos. Good fucking job, Hakita, you nailed it. Wish the level was longer though.
With the advent of Act 3 previews beginning to be shown. Just know that whatever happens, the lake will always be here. Whatever fate befalls Gabriel and V1, the lake will always be here.
I remember seeing a bottle telling me to go to where the big dipper is going with a cooked fish, and I spent 10 minutes skipping on the water trying to find this hidden island. Either I'm terrible at astrology or Hakita was just fucking with me
I love this song. So soothing to the mind... When I got home from work, getting down the bus on the path to my house, I placed my headset on my ears. The sun that was slowly setting down, the few remaining leaves falling down on the snowy ground as I slowly walked down the path... all the while, this song played. It may not seem much, but I was imagining myself going to fish. It's so nice, reminds me of the good time with my gramps... thank you. Size 2.
Hakita has created the scariest horror game known to man, a relaxing puzzle game, a pretty dark dating simulator, a very believable bandicoot crash level, and a hard fishing minigame, all in a quake and devil may cry style shooter where you have to collect the blood of demons. Only God knows what this man will surprise us with
Groundpound the tv... also there is a out of bounds clip above the exit door. Falling out of bounds for a long time and then restarting the level caused the level to be really foggy and the skybox didnt change to night. This is definitely my favorite secret level.
I went and got every fish just so I could slam the TV (it doesn't spawn if you just noclip in) and I gotta say, I was disappointed. I thought something cool would happen besides the geometry being buggy

Absolutely beautiful. When I first heard it I thought you had the guy who made the acoustic cover of "The Fire is Gone" work on it, but it still sounds great.
I absolutely adore this stage; it's easily my favourite secret stage, and probably one of my favourite stages in the game overall. The puzzles are wonderfully done, it's incredibly relaxing, and it's just so fun and goofy. I had to stifle my reaction _HARD_ to the TV at the end, since I was in a vc with other folks and had finished the level first Discussing between ourselves and trying to figure out the secret to Size 2 was also really, really fun. Crazy puzzle. We couldn't figure it out, but I'm sure we'll find it eventually, right? right. _We just need to use our ability._
Ending for ultrakill option 1: V1 and Gabriel fight one last time at the end of all existence, hell is almost gone, earth is empty, and everyone is heaven has been wiped out. Option 2: we can finally catch the size 2 fish

i think its funny to imagine that the secret levels are all canon and that humanity had to stumble across them when they did expeditions into hell They probably expected some of the most horrid sights imaginable but instead they found: a floor of limbo dedicated to color puzzles, a dating sim in lust, a recreation of a crash bandicoot stage in greed, and a peaceful patch of land to catch fish on in Wrath

gave me sea of thieves vibes surprisingly, I remember playing with friends a couple years back... They'd be trying their best to find the treasure chest and I'm just watching the boat fishing. Quite a remarkable experience, loved the blahaj joke
i was so confused when i booted this secret level up i looked at the weirdass infinite waterfall and went "do i go there?? what its a deadend" "what am i supposed to do" then i saw the barrel, apples, and the little maurice and accidentally picked up the fishing rod "OH. FOR REAL??" is the one thing i thought of i immEDIATELY whiplashed the everloving hell out of an apple and immediately started fishing by the dock "oh my god." thats it. thats all i could say i tried to fish everwhere i could the stream, the ocean, blahabalaha,,and i just.kept throwing my fish and..little maurices everywhere for who knows HOW long i feel like i needed that cooldown after going through.ultrakill. i still dont quite understand whats happening in 6-S but i have a new reason to open up ultrakill everyday now thank you
This level now has a fishing mini game which puts it on the list for the best games ever made. Right up there with SEGA Bass Fishing for the Wii, and Mario Party 4
i love all the weather and music variations as you catch the different fish, very beautifully designed and composed also the bomb fish is my favorite :)
Ultrakill is a game that you literally can't forget. I stopped playing this game for a year and still remembered all of the bosses moves (from act 1). One of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Can't wait for act 3!
I went fishing with my dad recently. My mind kept playing the Day portion of the song for this level I caught some fishes that day, so thanks Hakita for the good luck

This may sound insulting, but I mean it in the best way possible, this theme gave me Twilight Princess vibes, don't know why, maybe the guitar or the calm voices in the background, but overall, great music as always Hakita! This was a beautiful update to the game, you're a talented genius
