After watching a bunch of .410 and 20 guage patterning with tss for turkey, it’s refreshing to see an American man loading 10guage. Keep up the good work. 3oz. of tss hmmmm….
This load intrigues me. Do you have a source on the load data? I am curious of the muzzle velocity. One thing I have noticed is sometimes slower shells pattern better due to less bb deformation. So this could technically put more shot by weight and percentage on target. I checked out your site. If you put this product on I bet people would buy it.
This load runs around 1050 FPS. I know the developer and this load was originally made with TSS, then altered to fit lead shot. I've seen the pressure data and this load is VERY low pressured... Stupid low. No bird will live inside 50-60 yards with the right gun/tube combo.
I tried this load, but the only thing I didn’t have was buffer in it. It literally fell apart at 40 yards. I get better patterns and tighter with factory two ounce loads. I was using a pattern, master code black turkey in my browning 10 gauge. Wondering if the reason why the 3oz. pattern didn’t hold up and blew out it because I didn’t have any buffer in it or maybe my choke was too tight?
Also wondering if I could use this powder for 2 1/2 ounce loads? Thinking at least 2 1/2 hour load would stay inside the shot cup and maybe hold a pattern better longer ranges?
