He wasn’t raided like you think. When you have a SOT you have to pay a tax every year on every full auto you have registered with the SOT. With a SOT you don’t actually own the firearms you lease them. He simply couldn’t keep them up anymore do to medical bills. So the ATF has to collect them. If he has any transferable’s he probably still has them or he sold them to pay medical bills.

What did you expect the gun to have, peep sights and grade 8 carriage bolts?

@@Matt_Comer Larry has always been very vocal about fiber optic sights on a nice 1911 being tacky. He also feels the same about hex head screws with grips. He states it many times in his 1911 videos.

Yes. Or 11 if you have a round in the chamber as well. Since they said it is compatible with “most 9mm 1911 magazines”, there are larger capacity magazines that can be used. But they will be longer than the grip.
