I really miss these days of Hip Hop where they actually had SOMETHING TO SAY and found interesting and intelligent ways to say it. Wish the new generation would listen to this type of Hip Hop and bring more of this style and storytelling back to the mainstream.

I liked this album. This song was one of the best ones. Love the beats in hip-hop back then. I definitely had my little cassette single. We had so much variety. These days are long gone. R.I.P.

To all who came to the game after he died, this was the mold, the music was done with Klass, the lyrics never included the words, kcuf , female dog, garden tool, never made direct reference to drugs, jail, etc. It was simple - he had nuttin' but love for you baby, nuttin' but love for you honey .

Now, I still got his 2000 best-of retrospective Heavy Hitz. The song You Can't See What I Can See was his transformation to jump into the Boom Bap bandwagon for his 1993 4th album Blue Funk. You can find this song on the 12" inch vinyls of Don't Curse and Peaceful Journey singles, but this song is on the Heavy Hitz album. Basically, I love this joint to the fullest.

It's gonna take some time to get over the tragic loss of da Heavster. Not only is he one of my top 10 rappers of all time from the lyrical standpoint but also he meant a lot to me as a human being because he cared about people. He always lifted my spirits when I was not having good days. Everybody loved him to death. There will never be another Heavy D and I know he will be in heaven looking down on us. RIP you will always be one the illest to ever grab the mic and you will be a legend forever!
