Great closes! ✋✊ You've asked for some ideas in the end of the video. I would train with the HG250 for a longer period of time and added holds for up to 10 secs after each rep, that way it will extend difficulty with one gripper for longer period of time to get eventually the #3 instead of HG300 replica. There will be a gap in grip strength, but if you will train hard with 250 (those replicas are around CoC 2.25), I think it would be manageable to deep set the #3. So the gap will work in a good way, because it will give you some time to save for #3. But this is my ideas, I would love to see your progress, best of luck in your training.👊
Thank you so much for the comment! The gap between hg250 and hg300 is indeed BIG AF!! I will train hard though!! I will add some holds too !! I only do holds at the end of my workout to really give whats left on my hands
@@movementexpert4943 With a set, yes. To close no set wide grippers (above 70mm between handles) you have to have a proper technique and some extra grip strength + bigger palms (19cm+) will help a lot in closing it no set. With MMS I think you will close it no problem.
@@GenesGripChannel of course with a setting or like a CCS attempt!! I only got like 18cm hands so theres no way of TNS-ing a coc gripper! Really happy you say i can close it!! I only did like 3-4 real trainings and you say i can close a coc 2.5 lol!!! How much time did it take you to close the 2.5?
@@movementexpert4943 6 month and another 6 it took to close no set. With a smaller palm you just need more additional strength. For my palm size the distance of 72mm is fine but 75mm+ like GHPs takes way more effort, I'm speaking about extra 3-4 month of training. Working with a set is more productive way of training, because from what I can tell with my personal results , it gives you way more grip strength, especially on dynos. No Set closes are more into technique and the palms size aspect. I like them, because I'm in the middle of the pack palm size wise. Between 17 and 22mm. So it's a challenge, but manageable. Right now I'm chilling on a level of CoC 1.5 for recovery purposes and it is fine, because you can't push your body to the limits all the time. Once again all the best to your training and do what you are doing the best, because your sets with a a card look amazing. The main thing in training is to become stronger, than you were yesterday. It can be really frustrating to look at the athletes like David Shamey who closed CoC #4 for 3 reps MMS or Nathan Holle, but the main thing is to focus on your own progress.
Συγχαρητήρια Βασίλη .Εγώ σήμερα μετά από 10 ( 6 μέρες εξάσκηση + 4 ξεκούραση ) ξεκινώντας οριακά από τις 150 έκανα δύο κλεισίματα στις 200 λιμπρες . Δεδομένου ότι το ρεκόρ είναι στις 325 λιμπρες θα έλεγα ότι ο στόχος μου είναι οι 250 .( Μετά ίσως παίζει και κίνδυνος τραυματισμού 🤔

@@Firespheres Nice xxfire brother! I can close the 2.5 sometimes with right. So I'm getting there. We have to work on getting the fingers stronger I feel to go beyond the 3.0 and 3.5. I'm using the Camry 101 digital gripper for hand and individual finger strength building. Also the prohands 9lbs and 13 lb pro hands. I will post video soon. I figure once we can do 8-15 +reps with the coc 2.0 we are ready to work with 2.5 and 3.0. Doing mostly negative holds with 2.5 and 3.0..Now And working grippers are T, Coc 0.5, 1.5 and 2.0. And yep working on getting my left stronger as well xx. Did you put up any videos my friend of your strength and gripper breakthroughs yet?💪💪
@@Firespheres And yep coc 2.0 max is 195-200 plus lbs. So many a strong man and athlete can't close these my brother. We are crushing it!! Higher your hand on the gripper to close, the more max force by the way. I wonder if anyone can close the 3.5-4 without using their extra hand for assistance?? I hope we can build to that in time.
not bad young man. try it without "loading it" use explosive power to shut. when you get good at that put a dime in it and hold it vertical for as long as you can before the dime drops out. I'm just over a minute! Just another fun way to train grip strength.
@@movementexpert4943 I started the 250 lbs grip strength club at work. in 11 years since I started it only 6 people including myself could close it for entry. so what you are doing is impressive, don't let anyone tell you different!

@@MartinSeckofficialHey Martin Movement brother's hand strength is very impressive. Many folks I know cant even close a coc trainer or 1.5 How does this gripper measure up to the 2.5? Im told the newer coc 2.5s are harder. I just managed to get one rep with the right with it and feeling happy lol. Whew! Everyone is saying the newer coc 2.5 and and 3.0 and 3.5 and king of hill COC 4.0 have way stronger springs than the older models. Working on building to close the coc 2.0 for more( I can do 3-4 reps with right 2-3 reps with left) reps and then will work on the coc 2.5 and 3.0. Movement were you able to get those coc 1.5, 2.0-3.0 yet? I got all my grippers last year so I hope they are all using the strongest springs ironmind has put put. Coc 2.0 and 2.5 are crazy powerful to close. So excited with working with these then I'm going for crushing the 3.0 and 3.5 god willing in few months to next year.
@@shel0016 The heavy grips 250 should be equal to the captain of crush 2.5. In my youth I was pretty strong with a max bench of 405 at a bodyweight of 210. I am a part time bladesmith and making knives, holding tongs and swinging a hammer keeps my grip strength pretty solid.
