Group B headed to Falls Lake for their first qualifying day during General Tire Heavy HItters Presented by Bass Pro Shops. Take a look at some of the action from a beautiful Saturday in North Carolina!
I get it about fisherman not sharing information even staying in the same house. This makes the competition better and creates a more even playing field... BUT! You let the fisherman check the SCORETRACKER, which means they go on the website, and there it is in big print "Thrift frogs his way to the top." I would say that either you don't have fishing info in the header of links or have a separate SCORETRACKER site that the fisherman check on. Love the format and the characters that fish, just want to keep it fair for all.
Bigguns! Sabine is tough to watch because it’s both small fish and not many of them. Here in Raleigh it may not be 50 fish days but there are some bigguns to be caught
Seems like MLF would let the anglers use whatever brand electronics and trolling motor they preferred instead of forcing garmin and humminbird guys to use lowrance. I’m surprised they didn’t make the entire field use Abu Garcia rods and reels. So much for an even playing field
@@N2theBlue1 you got me thinking so I went back and rewatched this video and every boat had a lowrance graph. So either MLF is making these guys run lowrance OR they are only showing highlights from lowrance sponsored anglers.
@@derrickwestfall2002 there’s a third option: Lowrance is spreading a ton of money around to promote their ActiveTarget because they fell behind Garmin and everyone calls forward facing sonar livescope no matter the brand so they are trying to combat that. To make a true judgment you’d have to look at how many anglers are sponsored by each company. I’m no expert but from what I can tell lowrance sponsors a whole bunch more folks than Garmin or hummingbird. Ott Defoe is a humminbird guy but he and MDJ both had real slow days so they wouldn’t make a highlight reel. They certainly haven’t shied away from promoting Otter after his win at Big Sam!
