Ten MLF pros hit the water with $200,000 on the line during the Championship Round of General Tire Heavy Hitters. Watch the highlights from today's heavyweight fight on Shearon Harris Reservoir!
MLF set some good rules to abide by. Thanks for coming to my area's fishing holes. Y'all are welcome here anytime! And thanks for letting us watch all those #TightLines!!! Great job by everyone!
That was awesome to see Sprague win the 100k,. I won his jersey a couple years ago in the MLF giveaway and been pulling for him since he come on the MLF scene.
Carolina rigging on roadbeds and rocky bottoms from May thru late July can be very rewarding, especially on Jordan Lake. Can't wait till I get out there again.
Dear MLF, because I'm a bass fishing newb I need help with these tournament videos. Is it possible to list in the RU-vid video description which pros are in the championship round, and if there will be more than one video? Or provide a link to a MLF website that has the standings? Thank you. 🙂
Major League Fishing is the only competitive fishing I'll watch on T.V. The reason is they do it right. They have judges and cameras on the boats so the fish can be released ASAP. B.A.S.S. hauls them in and puts them on display when they come in for the weigh in. How many of those fish will survive being returned to the water? I doubt the numbers will be as high as the Major League Fishing group.
I love the MLF but they need to up the game on editing these videos. I know the broadcast format will be polished when it airs but these 20 minute highlight reels could use some polishing. They didn't even show Jones reaction at lines out. I'm a Sprague fan and appreciated seeing his reaction but come on. They could at least put time stamps and what round the highlight is from or the current weight and standing.
Dude same! I had an abu Garcia black max rod and reel. And I was having a good day on the boat 2 4 pounders and a 2 pounder and I boat flipped both 4 pounders and when I flipped the 2 pounder my rod snapped... so yeah they get weak I guess 🤣
These videos need scoring updates. I literally have zero clue has to who is where. And I also think Ish had one of those realization moments when he lost that one. You the moment when you do something embarrassing, like flop on the deck of your boat like a fish, all while you're on live TV...
Watching this videos reminds me why I'm a BassMasters Elite series fan. Sad to see some of the greats fading into obscurity with this mediocre format. Not a hater, just reality of the situation. Take it for what it is.
I beg to differ. BassMasters hauls fish in, puts them in live wells, then stresses them again at weigh in by hauling them out of the boat, putting them in bags, and weighing them in front of the smaller crowd than they let on. Then the fish are lifted up to show everyone the big ones. I'd like a study to the surviving numbers after all the stress placed on the fish. MLF catches the fish, weighs it, and returns it to the water. That's what I like.
@@beebob1279 The stress in caught fish is due to the fight after being hooked. Every fish is different just like people are different. Lactic acid build-up due to over fighting fish has the most effect in fish survival. Believing there is a huge benefit to immediate release is not based on science. My marine biology degree tells me there is just as much risk on a fish released that has been stressed in fight as one in a controlled livewell. Modern livewells with oxygenators are excellent for keeping fish alive. Don't over-think this. Bass do not have brains and there stem allows for quick adaptation to quickly changing environments.
@@bassgee2938 Thanks for the information. But I still think it's more humane and healthy for the fish to immediately release them. But, you're the guy with the degree so I'll understand your position as fact.
@@bassgee2938 Total bullshit. I catch the same fucking fish over & over & over at the ponds that I fish. Getting them back in the water is 100% the determining factor to their survival. I could give two shits about your degree, it has nothing to do with real time experience.
Where is the winning pattern the last Jacob told everything he done Alton said figure it out on your own basically but he can't tell me anyways I went the Sunday before and killed em biguns 7 pounder was the biggest
