Well I mean if you were sat in your tank and like you had to sustain 15 straight minutes of infantry shooting at your tank, yeah it might not damage the tank but I think it'd be insufferable noise
Irl infantry swarming tanks is actually a viable and scary tactic especially in urban environments where they could be hiding anywhere waiting to ambush the tank with a missile launcher. Plus tank crews are not well armed at all and if they get forced outside they are as good as dead.

Heres a tip to beat Heavy tank CW at Crossroads: do not kill or capture the outpost it will activate the Heavy Tank CW if you didnt capture or kill the outpost the heavy tank cw will stay at original spot and will not do anything
@@KingOfOwls23 DANG IT I swear before heavy cw or rigged mode was added me and my teammates use my tactic with tanks and we manage to kill the target without a problem (since if you attack the back up won't spawn) and capture the outpost
The heavy tank cw was not going to be the only tank that could see 3 tiles, before it, the Heavy tank had the scouting perk,But they removed it except for the heavy tank cw which was the one that did not remove that perk.I would have liked the Heavy tank to have continued with the scouting perk.
heavy tank never had scouting perk, but in old nic before like 1.4 update there was a noob that peeked out of a heavy tank cupola, but visibility wasn’t a system, you would just spam click ur mouse till you find an enemy.
Heavy tank having scouting would be useless. It'd only ever be useful if the tank doesn't have infantry with it and it isn't taking any damage at all, which is basically never.
can you make vid about how stuff like ap and stuff(i heard theres terrain damage boost or smth or i may be mistaken) basically how the game works(i wanna be able to do the math)
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fulMv0M79wk.html I have video about terrains, stats aren't 100% accurate but there's correction in pinned comments. AP math is little more complicated but in simple words if AP is higher than target's armor it will deal full damage, if no it will decrease depending how much armor is left after (Armor - AP) here is full math equalation taken from wiki *{(Base Damage - (2 x (Armour - AP | 0 if negative))) x Terrain Defence x height advantage x Veterancy defence} x Damage Multiplier)*
Give it one more tile of mobility and no cooldown on the cannon and it's basically a late cold war main battle tank (Something like the very first M1 abrams). Edit: I was talking about the tank having basically the heavy tank CW boss version from Crossroads as its base stats
@@ERIKA-ht2jw As far as I know, the Abrams still had some early form of advanced composite armor making its durability superior compared to the armor of cold war heavy tanks which used only RHA for armor. So the armor of the Abrams might have of not been great for the standards of its time when it got made, however it was still better than what the heavy tanks of the past had.
No, what makes this different is that the armor is at an extreme slope and thickness with no composite armor. It's based on the is-3 from the Soviet Union, and doing this would take away what made it special. It's meant to rival the mbt, so why would you make it more similar? I would like to see a variation of the mbt that has A.P.S and is invulnerable to 2 rockets from the front
@@krissiehunt319 APS was deployed in the very late 70s/early 80s. It doesn’t really fit the theme of the game with almost all of the equipment being from the 60s/early 70s.
Also one of best strat on traffic problem is that actually start traffic problem on where enemy vehicles spawn To do this u must put ur anto tank cannon or tank destroyer on key point where they can move no more and let the ambush trigger on recon or ifv and no more worries on tanks since one on front is mob killed and all the tanks get frozen
is this canonically stronger than the Super heavy tank? if so i wonder if it could get oneshotted by nona (yeah i know getting a heavy tank cw and nona both in one map at the same time is imposible but just cirious)
Fun fact: In Crossroads Rigged, I somehow two-shot the Heavy Tank CW with just the Light Gunship/Armed Heli Rockets. I never got to see it… I’m also really lucky that I completed PTT on Rigged (First try 😎😎😎😎) before the Heavy Tank CW (HTCW) was added to PTT. Edit: Also, what does CW, TD and CS mean for the NIC units?
His second attack is able to one shoot him but in most cases he will die before being able to use it and 120 tix goes waste + long cooldown. Not worth afterall
One AI unit I haven’t seen covered is the medium tank +. All I know is that it shows up on liberate the villages try hard and I think bedroom defense rigged
It isn't that interesting, the only difference between medium tank and the plus one is that plus does have recon tank's cannon instead of medium cannon which has 1 more range 5 more AP but 5 less damage. Another thing that before it was named Medium tank v2 and had multi attack and slightly better cannon. They also appear on various maps with different names like on enemy air supervisory where its named elite tank but in reality its just medium tank +
This was before HTCW was added for players, it was stronger before now its still a strong enemy but mostly not worth to use it as player due to high cost and slow movement
Ngl, i have a really stupid tactic where i just get 4 halftracks with 4 howitzers then 2 armored cars or 1 armored car and a supply carrier I f i c a n a f f o r d i t t h a t i s
@@thomasthekittykat1742 no you can't use it as it is AI exclusive, you can capture it if you really need to try it out. Also heavy tank cw exists on nic public TS only for you to play around with it and will probably be removed from there one day.
Some people preffer it over Battle tank but not me. for me 240 tix for an unit is too much, sure it is strong but price is insane (and the tank is slow)
Basically, yes. They nerfed the health but gave it more armor, and also slightly nerfed the damage of its cannon (52 DMG > 50 DMG, same AP if I'm not remembering wrong). From what I'm aware, nothing else changed. In gameplay, the change in performance is barely noticeable, with it only taking a little bit more damage from anti-tank weapons and being more resistant to howitzer splash damage/indirect hit. edit: corrected a wrong expression
It is AI-Exclusive unit like the commando, that means only way to use it is through lowering its morale and then capturing it. It is to not make it too powerful and few more reasons. Search "why Ai-Exclusive units are important" to learn more TL;DR you can't
They are battleships with increased combat strength, they are impossible (unless you had prepeared somehow to deal with *one* of them) to capture or kill so don't even try to bother them
@@UltimaDoombotMK1 they spawn in protect air craft carriers mission if you block carriers movement. As mentioned above they are battleships with increased combat efficency
