Thought I was only one who peeped that😂💀 like I was getting 780s almost 800s in 7th grade ain’t did it since and I’m 23 now I wonder what I’d score my baseball playing brother got 989 so I gotta beat that
Hey guys please heed my warning here. Do not walk up to one of these machines and just throw a haymaker at it. Make sure you know how to properly gauge and throw a punch and then do so but very lightly on the first few attempts. We had one of These out on the boardwalk next to where I used to work and I cannot tell you how many times I watched mostly men walk up to this thing and throw the hardest punch they could and ended up striking the back of the machine and breaking their wrist, their hands, their fingers and knuckles. There were a few occasions in which I warned the individual myself prior only for them too go on to injure themselves. So learn how to throw a punch on these machines first.
Yeah I agree, luckily for these guys.. a strong forearm is the key to throwing healthy punches. You can definitely break your hand easily as you say though. Even the greats break their hands in boxing.
Sounds like natural selection to me. Have been haymakering one of these since I’ve been about 10. Never once missed the ball. And if you do, then that should rightly be the last time you hit it until you learn how to punch
There’s an unspoken rule where you don’t move your feet while punching. That takes body weight out of the equation and gives you the true strength of the jab/punch
For anyone wondering these machines don’t actually measure power, they work by measuring how quickly a laser is broken when the arm swings up… the less time the laser is broken the faster the arm is deemed to be moving which generates a higher score.
So what exactly do you think that indicates? The harder you hit something the faster it will move away from your fist. So the harder you hit the ball the faster it will move through the laser.
Truly is when you put into perspective of all the possibilities between 0-999 and for two random guys to walk up and tie! I've seen alot of these machines in person and in videos and this is the first I've seen anyone tie!!
@@BleedingWhiteKnuckles it's not really between 0 and 999 though, almost nobody punches over 950 and anybody who is confident enough to have a go is probably going to punch 750+
FALSE. Its proven to get people in fights. Especially when you put them in a cafe. People are drunk testosteron gets flowing. People are more easy to get in a fight. Facts
The one and only time I ever hit one of these machines was at a county fair. It was too short for me and it didn't have the padded cover like this one. I punched the metal at the top of the bag and split my knuckle wide open and splattered blood everywhere. I've been too gunshy to try again after that
У меня такая же была один раз ситуация, не обратил внимания, что боксёрский мешок без воздуха, хорошенько ударил и прямо в металлический рычаг попал и так же залил весь тротуар кровью😮
It's called fatigue Your first punch and 100th punch will not be the same strength you will be much weaker on the 100th cause you've used the same muscle groups 99times causing fatigue
When I was 20, I was skinny n weighed about 10stone. I had a go on one of these n got a high score. Some roid head was watching n had a go n couldn’t beat my score. After about 5 attempts, he kicked off n wanted a scrap. Pathetic 😂. It’s all about technique
Learn to punch correctly then. One thing i can tell you right now is a punch should land with your 2 first knuckles, not your whole fist. You can put i little twist in the punch you throw so it lands on those 2 knuckles. You should also only Clinch your fist at the moment of impact. That means you throw fast, and to increase the power you need to learn to snap your punch. A punch starts in your toe and you can rotate your body and transfer that energy through your body into your fist. Also, learn to keep your wrist straight.😊
I think when you hit the bottom of it just right it sends the most momentum to give you a hi score ,there is a trick to it ,I know guys who k.o.people w no problem but when they hit it they get 600,then someone who I never seen knock anyone out will light that bitch up to the 850s
Those machines have sweetspots, thrust me, couple yeras ago they put one of those next to my gym, and I was puching it every day and realized that there is a sweetspot on the pearl - when you punched in spot slighty above center so power could come at angle. I was doing record on the machine every day. It was very cool, I remember there was security guy and every time he saw me he was "holy shit, that guy again" I reached max to 998 and funny thing is... I never trained boxing xD
