Hydrangeas watercolor, Brand Fabriano. It's not the full video, because it's a larger work. I hope there is enough to see :) www.pirlando.eu/watercolor-les... Music: bgmusic26 (Almost a Love Story)LONGZIJUN
geez i learned more from you then i have from a lot of others in just a couple of your videos with painting loose negative space what a beautiful piece that you made im going to try that idk how ive never seen your work before ... thanks for sharing
Hello Hedwig. Your name called out to me since my great grandmother's name is Hedwig Kreutzer and my mother's middle name is Hedwig. I have run into very few Hedwigs in my lifetime. I'm learning how to watercolor so I will be experimenting with your lessons soon. I am very pleased to meet you.
After I watched a million gestures by you on the paper, I still am scratching my head...how did she do that? Just lovely. I need to study impressionism more....it seems quite fun and freeing!
Hedwig you as always seemed to enjoy every minute. You slay me with this one! I am loving my new transparent paints and if I leave my S Korean brand, and Japanese, (and think I wont) I would paint with Selennier. When I saw your puddles I was like, YES! Glistening like honey or oil. That's for me. I am enjoying myself, and though my new painting is still too tight, the luminosity is spot on. Thank you for sharing your stunning work again! Love from California. I will watch this again. I am resting for finishing that painting tonight.
Well if you know how it works, it's always fun making watercolor painting or in any kind of material. you get into it and forget about the rest of the world :) That's how it should be. following your feeling where to put another spot of paint. Halfway looking from a distance to see what else is needed to make it better, and in balance. You will see that Senellier has more pigment, it's often to much so again learning how much water to use :)
I love Asian paint. I should stay you say? What did you paint this with or is it many? My paints are pigmented, but I add different amounts of water to my mixing wells. I only use a dot at a time and still its more than enough. I pre-mix now and enjoy it much more... Much, much more, and I dont dump my dual water bucket half as often now, all that yumminess going down the drainpipe! I bought a particular stackable mixing tray and I will buy more so for paintings in progress I just cover with wrap and stack when dry which is pretty fast ;-) mix enough so I do not run out and have to try again to get the same color.
wel I paint with differnent brands, Schmicke, Rembrandt mostly, senellier, I take the ones that are best for me.Asian paint? don't know what you mean by that. I use only a plate now and then to mix :) don't need much . but it's handy if you have those things.
Well, I have paint from Netherlands, S Korea, and Japan. The Korean and Japanese paints are most enjoyable for me at the price point and they are known for their transparency and luminosity in glazing ;-) I love glazing and. gradually building values. I do not like opacity like gouache or even many Ochres and cobalt that look like white is added i use only sparingly. It has gotten mme away from the illustration style a bit which is most common with beginners and I am trying so much to leave behind. I know by one year I will do it, even if not so well yet. Even my brown paints are transparent. My first paints I had so much trouble. I had no way to get enough water in them to keep from being too dark too soon. It is exciting to see the paper through the paint. To see the light pass through the paint, even after layers, and see the paper under it. Do you know what I mean? Some paints are opaque, semi-transparent, transparent. Kuretake Gansai, Shinhan Professional, mostly transparent.
Ok, I see, well I don't have Asian Paint :) but if you like it it's sure good . and indeed some paint is not glazing, And ofcourse I know what you mean, you have a good memory, knowing all those names :) Do you want to send one of your paintings? I am wondering how you are doing :)
well a lot of colors, : indigo blue, rembrand blue, ultramarine blue, cendre blue, cadmium red, crimson, cadmium yelow, hookers green, cadmium orange, burned sienna, I think that was about it, hope it helps :)
WOW!!!! It's stunning. I think your talent is not ordinary hard working result, must be born with. Could you check who's sabotage your video with bad music, please~
I'm actually giving this a try --- using some of the techniques you displayed. Of course, it isn't as beautiful as yours --- but I am not unhappy with it. Today I tackle the greenery --- having trouble staying "loose" and trying negative painting. You have inspired me.
