They always come back to the farm at the start of May generally around the 1st, but its good to get them back, and send the 19 calves that I have had on farm all summer the other way

Funny , last october I needed a new grazier quickly as mating was about to start. Rang my stock transporter, he gave me a couple numbers . They're the ones that know lol
Yip same here, heifers came back 1st if May. I had 4 at or over 400kg on the 30th March though. Mine are freisians and Ayrshire. Heaviest was an Ayrshire 417kg lol
The calves and heifers are non-producing as yet, so a burden on the amount of grazing available. Taking them off farm leaves more grass for the milking herd and less headaches for Andrew.
