One of my grandma’s absolute favorite sounds, is the Jake brake. My grandpa retired from being a truck driver at the age of 80, if it wasn’t for his health, he would probably still be driving today at almost 89 years old. My grandparents have friends that will put their Jake brakes on when they go by my grandparents house because they know how much my grandma loves it.

1. Speaking of European farmers... please pray that the Dutch farmers can get rid of their uneducated politicians and their silly tax that is only a thinly veiled land grab 2. Great selection of music for the montage sequence. It fit perfectly to set the tone of that ballet of machinery. That's some F1 driving. (I'm being sincere, it sounds sarcastic but I love this channel.)

YUP, it was good.. I still enjoy the drone shots the most. Along with the many position of the camera on the equipment. You get some darn good views Cole. Pretty dang neat. How much does the cow manure help your fields. I notice that you folks spread it during the winter months. Where do you folks put the manure at durian the spring, summer and fall??? By the way I love your videos Cole. Been missing Dad’s song of the day. I realize that you have to separate during the planting season to get all the chores done. Good job and thank you for sharing.

Your comment about the Jake brake made me laugh. I had and argument with a friend who was complaining about a truck coming down the hill behind her with their Jake brake on my response was I would rather hear the Jake brake behind me and know they have their service then know they are on their regular service brakes and run the risk of driving over me in a emergency situation

I have three diesel locomotives idling 200 feet from my front door occasionally 2-3x that. I would welcome trading for compression brakes, for a while anyway.

I agree Cole, a little sound makes us more aware. As a kid we used to go through a tunnel here in Colorado a really long one and they used to allow jake brakes and you don't hear it as much as you used to but I spoke to me a couple times cuz they were right next to me but I didn't mind it

Seeing anything with an auger just freaks me out. I get nervous watching, because I have heard of so many farm accidents which include the phrase “got stuck in an auger”. Stay safe!

Cole, congrats on all the hay bales. Very happy for the Sonne gentlemen finally getting a good hay crop. I really missed that music you usually play while Brian is bailing the hay. I ask every year what is the instrument that is playing the tune the tune. Kinds sounds like a banjo, but saw once someone commented it was an acoustic?? playing. I could listen to the sound for hours. I even suggested Tiffany should walk down the aisle to. By the way, I would like to know the title too of that tune. Hope the floods missed your part of South, DA.

I liked your shade/wind break design so much I copied it, I tacked the bolts in place so they don't come off and made a box for the bolts.........Louder than a jake break, a fidiot with the stereo up so loud your ear bleed a block away,,, you ain't farmin if it ain't and open cab with no guidance system

No ! Wrong! Cole is right!! RE him cutting out the sugar. He is proactive to prevent a lifetime of ailments! The brain works better on low carb FAT, -for a scientific fact!! But it means you have to deprive your body of sugar for it too begin to run on that alternative!

They should outlaw engine braking unless there is an emergency. I live where trucks go buy all the time and it is so annoying most truckers dont do it here cause they obey the speed limit but there are always a few that dont care and give them all a bad name.
