I always associate the melody with the Brits Alright I visited Wikipedia and apparently everyone uses this melody, the Brits, the Americans, the Russians, the Swiss. Whoever created this could copy strike everyone if it was composed today hahah
The Melody is egal from the english NationaAnthem God save the king... The acctuell German Anthem, is a old version and melody, the old austrian Habsburger Kaiser Hyme.. Musik komponiert from JosefHaydn.. The melody from Anthems is changed over the century the CountryBorder.. 😊😊
Since the two (still/once) ruling houses are related, they are welcome to share the melody of their anthems! 🇬🇧♥️🇩🇪 (Though it wasn‘t really the National Anthem of Germany in today‘s sense… but could as well have been… 😉)
Germany, the MVP of the Great War and would be the strongest and handled multiple countries in just 2 fronts. Yet barely gets recognition for their hard work at even protecting their own allies with the struggle of the Entente
You probably mean Western Front and Eastern Front, but you forget, that Germans also fight in Africa in many campaigns and they fought in Siege of Tsingtau.
@@ziemowitzmarzy1405 yep, they still recognize Germany as evil since they "started" both wars when it was all Austria starting it (Since Hitler is Austrian)
@@BrazilianDreemurr2008 Yes. In the case of WWI it is hard to say, that Germany was "evil side", because formally this war was started by Serbia and Austro-Hungary, but in reality it was a only one reason, why this war broke out, because many countries in Europe in this time wanted to war, because Germany wanted to more colonies, and France and Britain didn't want to Germany become to strong and they didn"t want to give Germany a new colonies, so France and Britain didn't accept a strong Germany's position in Europe. So, it was many reasons, why WWI broke out.
Hello good evening.. i have a question. This Friday evening i found this song here on youtube and i wonder if this is the original song from Germany and if this is a song that England borrowed or took and made the song god save the king and Queen with?. It sounds very similar to that one.
The original version of this song Is grand dieu sauve le roi Made for Louis XIV of France Aka the sun king ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z1gVvB5k_hg.html And no the German Empire didn't steal this anthem Heil dir im siegerkranz was already the anthem of the kingdom of prussia before the german empire existed Prussia adopted this song in 1795
this melody was common for monarchies at the time, the first one was made by the french called, grande souvie le roi, then the british stole it and thenn the germans, russians, swedes, liechtensteiners, norway, japan, hawai, all these have anthems to this tune

How come they steal the notes from "god save the queen" ? I thought germans or once prussians are popular at composing great songs. But damn... I have to admit it as an american. They played it better... 😅

God save our gracious King, Long live our noble King, God save the King! Send him victorious, Happy and glorious, Long to reign over us, God save the King!
No first time they where just protecting thair allies And it's a fact that kaiser wilhelm II tried to prevent ww1 from happening And the second war only happened Because the so called winners of ww1 Where to harsh on Germany
For WW1 I disagree, all the countries were just as much at fault as each other and made poor diplomatic decisions that lead to the outbreak of war. However, for WW2, I totally agree.
@cuck I say the treaty of Versailles wasn't that bad when compared to the other treaties given to the other nations of the central powers and in the 1920s Germany actually thrived and military restrictions were being lifted by the British. France and their occupation of the Rhur and subsequent thirst for revenge is what pushed the Germans down the dark road they went down. Germany was actually paying the reparations off after all its only fair since they broke alot of stuff. The hyperinflation and economic disaster we associate with Weimar Germany actually started due to the German governments mismanagement of the economy.
