Poor Heizou, the bar for supportive anemo characters is so high with sucrose, kazuha and situationally venti, so it feels nice that his kit is having it's chance to shine here.
Narnia lmao, that's the first time i see that term being used Watching those children enter the wardrobe was magical to me when i was young without life problems.. ah nostalgia
@@verzetta Zajef use it all the time but hey, you’re not the only one. I, too, thought the same thing when I heard Zajef use that term. which make me wonder “do kid nowadays ever watch Narnia ?” 😂
@@nanathedelta8561 Oh i see, i usually tend to focus on what he has to say for things related to theorycrafting, i might have missed him using that term. Now that you mention it, i feel a bit old here..
@@mmmkay2457 I don't think that anyone says that Xingqiu isn't good lol. People argue if he's better than so and so other units, but I've never heard someone call him bad
@@tonydai782they literally do… and also act like Yelan is a 100% replacement for him in a solo hydro slot, when he applies more hydro than her (and can be better depending on the team). Just because you don’t doubt him doesn’t mean others have/do.
always nice to see 4* only clears especially since they are clearing in good time and not just barely getting by. i appreciate videos like this zajef ! might be cope but i hope we get more variety for 4* only clears in the future too, with the release of more (better) 4* :)
Tbh this display is misleading because...EVERYONE but Yao Yao and Heizou are from 1.0....They also happen to be among the better 4* that released. 4* since 2.0 have been not nearly as powerful and much more C6 reliant than the 1.0 powerhouses.
@@ooochoa Yeah, that's why i've been trying to quit. Been on and off for 3 times so far. I want marriage and afterlife in heaven more than anything, but the FOMO is very tricky to overcome. I admit i have my part in it but Hoyo sure is great at using psychology to keep people playing the game.
same here. i'm at c3 rn but his ratio is kind bad.. 79/167.. but I want c6 because I love seeing him hit huge numbers with his e. my current record is 610k on a showcase build.
if you are a new player it can be hard to get all the constellations to play some of these characters, so please dont rush, and all though these 4 stars are nice, NEVE EVER pull for only the 4 stars
Also more importantly: never ever "build pity", it's just another word of impatience, lack of self-control, or gambling addiction. Only pull in the banner which has the character that you are actually aiming to get.
@@verzettait’s not another word, it’s an excuse. the gacha system itself is predatory by design, it’s meant to make people develop an unhealthy addiction to dopamine rush.
@@verzetta Never ever save for pulls. That is for noobs who just started playing the game. You wil be left hurting for 4-star characters and constellations and greatly limit the amount of setups you can use. And yes that's a big f you for your pulling phylosophy. Day one player, never had to spend 6 weeks of farming doing nothing to ensure a pull. Never had a problem with unwanted 5-stars
Been trying to practice the proper sucrose nat rotation like you do for months, after watching the last part, I've got a 15-20%ish faster clear time than my usual. Thank you for explaining it properly, and the editor for the clean rotation table, Gladge
I did the 4 stars run only before but mine was way worse than Zajef team because I’m pepega. First side - Sucrose/Yaoyao/Xingqiu/Fishcl Second side - Bennett/XL/Balls/Rosaria It was a joke except the last chamber on 12-3. I barely clear it, I had like.. 9s left. which confused me so I asked myself “why is it perform so bad ? maybe I got worse at the game ?” Until I realize that Copiumlia has 70% RES against Cryo/Anemo (95% during Climax). Thanks fucking god that OPPA XL has enough damage. if it wasn’t her, I wouldn’t be able clear it. 🙏 Yup, I didn’t do the research about the boss and straight up went in like a dumbass pepega. 😂
It’s a tech that widely known in TC community but not in casual community. that’s why back then people think Kazuha is better than Sucrose because he can double swirl, not realize that Sucrose can also do that. I’m pretty sure this tech got spread by one of Tenten’s video (it was Sukkokomon video, I believe) But hey, now you know. have fun !! it is actually a good tech and very fun to master. it is also extremely useful against enemy that has permanent aura.
I have a ceacked heizou with 85/199 on 4pc vv. He punches for 50k unbuffed and in national he deals half the dmg while shredding res with vv. My fave abyss team even in harder patches, worked well against the annoying abyss guys that hate shields
Thank you Zajef for this different flavor of content! It really helps to see in action what's needed to clear the abyss while also having you talking through the mechanics of the fight. Appreciate the quality content
I understand the pain but like if you show 4* only teams, with no 5* weapons but with THREE battle pass weapons, it's not really relatable for the players that need showcases like this.
If you look at other RU-vidrs doing the same thing, people complain about them having cracked artifacts on top of constellations and all the rest. Half of the video is explaining his gear and how it affected the run, it’s fair enough
You know you don't have to be relatable with his account, everyone will have a different type of account according to their luck or spending, because what he showcasing is about how to play these teams
I managed to go with cyno c0 aggravate (er timepiece) and yoimiya monopyro and do it. My life is so accomplished now since I managed to use 2 of my fav characters. But I am dumb and forgot that 1st, my benny wasn't wearing full 4 piece noblesse, and my kazuha wasn't on viri. He was on crimson witch with aleitham sword soooooo yeah I nerfed myself so fking much but loved it
@@joshricaborda1014 ah yes, Classic Xingqiu best character in the game argument. What i said is true tho, Xingqiu can't compete with Childe's AoE hydro app, especially with Xiangling
Could you do a video with interactions like guoba swirl. So any important interaction for certain teams. I’m sure other creators might show it randomly. I think you would know most of them. So having them all in a video would be super useful. Reading about it compared to watching it make a huge difference.
i love heizou's playstyle SO much and it does always sting a little to see him written off entirely because sucrose is somewhat better he's fun, and i think people should experiment w his kit more often!!
I use monogeo against crab and is possible clear the floor in 1:15 min, once the shield is break one rotation should be enough at medium-high investment
Stringless is better than VH on Fischl and the Catch is better than Deathmatch on Xiangling. Only Serpent Spine is better than the other four star options, and tbf it's a lot better.
@@tonydai782 i didn't say that bp weps are better, they are helping to fix ur crit rate - means u have more options and freedom on artifact stats. Also while standard banner has 5* crit rate bow and spear there's no crit rate standard claymore: serpent spine will be better than 5* options in most situations.
I think there should be more permanent really strong free 4 star weapons like the catch locked behind difficult content. I know finishing isn't difficult it's just tedious but I still felt like I worked for the Catch and that the reward was worth the time investment
this is the first abyss I've been able to clear with only *4, my teams are Barb and c1 Lynette taser on 1st side and Sucrose national on the 2nd, you make it look so easy tho lol
I’ve used heizou to 36 star abyss since his release last year. I just adore his character and play style, and he’s really fun to play. Love to see him in your clear 😊
That is the first time I’ve heard someone explain why a Guoba swirl is actually a good thing! Every other explanation has focused on the mechanic and how neat it is, this now makes sense to me lol
Being a Venti/Heizou enjoyer out there is tough, everyone keeps on harping the same "Kazuha and Sucrose are better!" and **some** don't even say it for the right reasons (if I see another "Kazuha CC is better than Venti CC" I am going to lose it). It's one of the reasons I've kept my Kazuha at 6-1-1 talents, I only got him because I had the feeling Lyney might want him. Turns out he did. ... And then I replaced him with Heizou on Mono Pyro and still cleared because Xiangling is Xiangling so it's not like it even mattered lmao
If they have sufficient investment level, i'm sure you can full star this Abyss, it's one of the easiest we got so far. Just need the right element/character/teambuilding. For floor 12, bring hydro first half (Wanderer with Xingqiu/Yelan is good here), pyro second half (Bennett+Xiangling/Kazuha). For floor 11-1, bring Venti/Kazuha, and avoid using Nahida/dendro in 11-1 first half, dendro will inflict burning to the pyro slimes and the monolith hp will go down faster.
Wait, this made me realize guys, isn't CA yae Miko possible now? Remember when the leaks said she will be a CA spammer on par with ganyu? Her CA is even special (just a lil) even if the scalings are bad? Nah I'm definitely coping and I heard a theory like this a while ago but it was before dendro. Hmm ill try it later and see if it even makes sense.
Reacting to the title, but yeah I always understood he was a good unit outclassed by really strong competition. Also, regarding national team, I discovered only yesterday when searching InterNat speedruns for my new Childe, but Xiangling actually has a double hit mechanic on her Burst which gets her 4 - 5 more hits than the default "move in the opposite direction of her Burst". Nashi on RU-vid has a great video showcasing the mechanic. Its extremely powerful but I don't see any theorycrafters talking about it, and zajef doesn't implement it in his gameplay here.
Cause that mechanic is hard to use, and is only consistence with childe, and agains bosses (cause with xingchiu have to timming really good the basic attacks, and move around, or can lost hydro apps).
@@cleod7439 Also for players who only occasionally use this team, most of the times we need to pay attention to execute the rotations carefully so we kinda forget about that Xiangling pyronado mechanic (at least for me, i literally never remember about it during combat).
@@joiranseisententeki It was discovered a long time ago actually, it's just an inconvenient mechanic to execute therefore most players (excluding speedrunners) either don't do it or forget about it. And most new players won't know because there's very few showcases that include the mechanic.
@@verzetta I mean, as someone who just got Childe a few days ago, it's not that hard. Just dash left as soon as the Pyronado connects the first time and you can consistently get the double hit. Very worth getting the rythmn down, it's barely harder than Hu Tao C1 N2CD combo.
12:38 Okay so about non-C6 Fischl... That's a lie xD You don't get as much application and uptime in comparison to C6 and overall it just doesn't feel that great. Fischl without C6 is like an Anemo without VV, it's not gonna be the same.
You couldn’t be more wrong than this. Yes C6 Fischl is a great constellation, but Fischl’s power is already mostly unlocked at C0, C6 is just the cherry on top (with extra cream). My C0 Fischl carried my since the beginning of my journey in Teyvat, currently C3 I think and still she carries my teams, I use her in Abyss all the team and she is fantastic. Unless you are playing salad in AoE, Fischl C6 is never needed, it’s just nice extra damage.
@@sylarpeterclair Actually, from what I've seen it won't be too unreasonable. There will be new gimmicks in play, but it seems like the DPS check will be manageable and the gimmicks don't really change that. 12-2 and 12-3 are both 2 normal waves + 1 boss and I think players will be able to beat each half in 3 rotations (although the Pneuma Construction Specialist Mek will return). 12-1-1 might be tricky because there are big Rifthounds with staggered spawns + an additional wave once you've dealt with those; will probably take 4 rotations.
Can you do a video or video series discussing each 5-star unit's best teams or archetypes, one 4 star only and one 4 and 5 star? This wouldn't be as a meta roundup but rather specifically for each individual 5 star unit.
(EDIT: I wrote this comment before I saw the portion of the video where he talked about Sac vs Fav.) I don't have Sucrose, but Lately I've been experimenting and I'm really liking that National setup with Jean. Jean is there for VV shred and Sunfire, and Xingqiu vapes his E for big pp damage. The thing though is that My Sac sword is only R1... so I gave him R3Favonius instead for now (because it helps everyone with energy at every rotation). Should I keep Fav on him (better energy, but only one Dual-Vape per rotation)? Or should I try with Sac R1 to *try* to get those Quad-Vapes every other rotation (and less energy)?
@@mustangroy5012 Yeah that's basically what I've been doing. I really like the consistency that Fav provides for himself and the team at the moment. I was entertaining the idea of going Sac Sword, but upon further reflection, I'll wait until I get it to R3-R4 in the future. Besides, he also suggested trying going for Noblesse on Xingqiu and Instructor Benny. In which case having his Burst up is definitely even more important. Right now I have Benny on Noblesse, and Xingqiu+Xiangling both on Emblem. I might try the Benny Instructor variation.
Mostly Heizou and Fischl, since Beidou's burst doesn't target dendro seeds. But it's an aggravate team (no hydro teammate) so no one need to stack EM. The hyperbloom reaction is only triggered in chamber 1 second half where the first 4 opponents have innate hydro aura.
In chamber one, Heizou is swirling electro, thus triggering the seeds himself. Oz sucks at hitting the seeds, while Beidou’s burst can’t target the seeds at all
Heizou is the best T4 DPS in this game. I know no other characters that can give 100k, 200k, up to 300k with the "E". I use a comp with him that I call "One Punch Comp" with Raiden (just for the E), Mona and Bennett. It kills enemies very fast, the grouping is the only problem. He's not worst than Kazuha and Sucrose, he just has a different kit. Kazuha and Sucrose are supports for grouping and Heizou is a DPS.
@@adastra5295 It's really not a showcase, even because Heizou is using Favonius when his energy recharge is almost useless, his E gives way more damage than his ult. He said it doesn't matter, but it matters a lot. You will never use him to his full capacity building him on ER. I'm not sure about EM because I never saw anyone using it, but I don't think that's the best for him too. He's very good build in ATK and Crit. I just use Raiden for the E because he needs to cause reactions to boost his "E", and electro-charged reacts a lot. You could use Fichl too, I just don't know how to play her. Bennett is very f2p and Mona is not from limited banners. She's there just to boost his damage too, so Faruzan should do the job. I'm not main Heizou, but I really think he's the best T4 DPS in the game. I mean, who are the other T4 DPS? Razor and Yanfei? I like him as a hypercarry because it's very fast to boost his E and use it, and every time it gives a lot of damage. You could also use him with Xingqiu and Xiangling, but then you would lose the best supports in the game to his time when they are essential in other times. I actually don't even run him in 4 pieces of Viridescent because his main damage is not from swirl. Viridescent is mostly a support artifact that boosts other elements, but Heizou gives anemo damage, so what's the point?
i commented in the past that without c4 xiangling national teams struggle and zajef basically called me braindead on stream but now he's saying the same thing as me lol
It depends on what you mean with struggle. Xiangling basically loses almost 28% damage, but 72% of her potential damage is still a lot, it can still be enough to carry you through Abyss Edited math
@@xanthee_imr bros literally scanning through genshin comments and reddit posts all day like do you not have anything better to do, not related to your comment just wondering because you seem to always be posting everywhere... every day...
Can aggravate and superconduct exist at the same time? For example on razor can he do aggravate/hyperbloom with burst while having phys res shred on na attacks( sorry for bad English)
Superconduct only need triggered once, and the physical resistance shred will lasts for 12s. Aggravate damage will only be triggered when the Quicken aura is active (cleared when overwritten by hydro). Hyperbloom will always get triggered as long as there's dendro core on the floor and you hit it with electro. With Razor as the driver, it will be similar to Cyno Quickbloom team (the reactions triggered).
I know that some Razor mains play teams like that, with dendro and cryo exactly to proc both aggravate and superconduct. Not sure of how good it is though, probably not really
Electro swirls also hit the dendro cores and activate hyperbloom, not only direct electro attacks. So the EM stats on the anemo character (Heizou here) who trigger the electro swirls will affect the hyperbloom damage. Similar to electro-infused burst triggering hyperblooms by Kazuha (or his pyro-infused burst triggering burgeons).
Also Beidou’s burst can’t hit the seeds, only the enemies. There’s an archetype where your hyperbloom trigger is just your anemo through electro swirls (electro provided by Beidou or Fischl, both suck at hitting dendro cores), it’s called “salad”
man there is no shot he is saying the fischl are "pretty good" my man copium so hard. it doesn't matter when the domain was released those artifacts no cap are quite below average
That domain is so cracked for Fischl that even with underwhelming pieces the build is still relatively good to previous standards. Definitely good enough for the challenge anyway
