1. Endoscopy with biopsy-invasive, reliable for active infection and metaplasia/gastritis
2. H. Pylori Breath Test-Reliable for active infection, non-invasive
3. H. Pylori Stool Antigen Test-Reliable for active infection, non-invasive
4. Blood, H. Pylori Antibody Test-does not indicate active infection. Possible past infection.
Steps to manage H. Pylori infection.
1. ACV test. 2 table spoons mixed in water 5 minutes before a meal.

My H. Pylori symptoms: Weight loss, headache (sometimes moving headache & zapping), ringing ears, stomach pain on left side, constipation, lump in throat, occasional breathing issue (shortness of breathe/panting), occasional heart palpitations, burning belly, bloating. It's awful. Symptoms intensify pre-menstruation.

@@bouquetkluang 1 month before I also tested RUT negative,by Gastro specialist, but reports says antral gastritis, feel suddenly bloating and acid reflux, left side heavy headedness. later i consulted with Experienced GP, he said to try with one week H.pylori KIT , it has 3 medicines on morning and 3 on evening.

hello. I had this 3 years ago. I had stool test and came back positive. I did triple therapy with antibiotics. I was so scared to take so many but the doctor said: you either take it or you going to have a cancer, so i took it. It helped me and i felt better. My symptoms were: sleepiness- i could sleep 3x a day, and runny poop every morning. But here im again. This time stool test didn't show up but endoscopy did. Symptoms, tiredness, sleeping way longer and never feel rested. No normal stool and i believe i have a ulcer bc i have one spot that hurts and burn ... My question is: how h-pylori is measured? Some people say they have a lot of it. And if the stool test isn't showing does it means isn't that bad ??? Or i have less in my stomach??? Oh this time the doc wants me to do 4 different antibiotics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr, I just came from another video that mentioned a study of people in Japan and in Korea, with their high prevalence of stomach cancer. The study suggested that the consumption of high salt fermented foods (such as Kim Chi, and I guess that would include saukraut) is the cause of high stomach cancer rate, and the H pylori infection rate. Can you please commmenbt on this, or expand on it? Is it safe to consume salt/sugar fermented vegetables and it's juice?

I wish the doctor would comment on this as well… I know that when you have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) fermented foods and drinks can make your symptoms worse and take over an imbalance the very little amount of good bacteria a person has left. Foods and supplements that feed the good bacteria to increase the population is safer and more effective. pre-biotics, such as Coconut, chicory root comma and a supplement called sodium butyrate to name a few, will feed the good bacteria. even things like yogurt and beans, which are typically good for digestion, can be very uncomfortable for people who have an imbalance in their Microbiome. dr. does not mention it in this video, but H. pylori secretes and alkaline substance to keep the stomach acid low so it can survive. Which is how it was able to take hold there in the first place. This is why getting the stomach acid back up if so important this is part of what kills it.

Is this herbal treatment to continue following antibiotic treatment? I had a blood and urine test and was told I had H-Pylori. I'm now into 5 days of the 2 week abx tx and not feeling well. I believe gut repair must continue following abx treatment but not sure how. She stated I'd have an ultra sound following tx. I'm under the understanding the gut is made alkaline for healing with this tx. But you need an acidic gut to absorb nutrition and proper gut health. Im concerned what follows the abx tx to get back on track. I don't want other complications.

I had a severe case of h pylori a few years ago. I followed drs instructions and took the antibiotics. I really felt malnourished but didn’t realise it until I started building myself up with supplements after the treatment. If I now feel stomach issues I take acv . It helps immensely. I also eat fermented kimchi or sauerkraut as often as I can. I’ve heard the older you get the less stomach acids we produce so I’m conscious of that now. Feeling 100% better! My daughters tested as well but they were fine.

My GI doctor never even mentioned a gut repair before starting an intense 2 week antibiotic treatment, and I’ve been struggling. It completely killed my immune system. I’ve been so sick. The proton pump inhibitor is pepto bismol correct? I was never given clear directions on how to take my treatment and it’s been awful.

What about canker sores? Does h pylori cause canker sores?I have been getting them since I have been at least 3-year-old. My husband used to never get canker sores but now he does since he's been with me, and so do my kids. I have real bad breath and I developed type 1 diabetes during my pregnancy with my first child. What about diet? Am I able to continue eating the foods that I eat? I don’t eat junk food just home cooked meals, eggs, ground beef, chicken, oatmeal, nonfat Greek yogurt from Costco apples, bananas , avocados literally what I eat everyday is it okay for me to stay with this diet while taking these other supplements for recovery?

Hi, I was diagnosed of H pylori few weeks ago and was placed on 2-week medication of PPI(Metronidazole), Tetracycline and Jamp-Rabeprazole. I completed the treatment 2weeks ago and would be going for after treatment test in two days to check whether the infection has been eradicated. My problem now is that I've constantly experience chronic constipation, even more than what I was experiencing before i was diagnosed. Please what do you think might be the problem? After treating H Pylori with antibiotics and PPI's i end up with neuropathy, low B12 and low Ferritin levels even 2 years after. I am not absorbing or tolerating B vitamins, it increases my neuropathy instead of helping. Please please do a video about a link between H Pylori and Neuropathy. And how get gut functioning to be able to take B12. Thank you.

hello. the reason you are not absorbing your b12 is because the ppis have lowered your stomach acid and we all need stomach acid to absorb our nutrients. take betaine hydrochloride supplements (consult doc on this) before each meal until you feel better and eat more protein to be able to absorb your iron. your b12 will naturally increase because b12 is a bacteria found on home grown veggies, teeth, etc. it is rare to get b12 deficiency. the only reason people get low b12 is because they have low stomach acid or no intrinsic factor. hope this helps!

@@faroukkkiyinji8375 Been on B12 injections for 8 months now, had some improvement in neuropathy, but to be honest not that much so i keep going with the injections. Eating more protein, bone broth, does help a little. Swedish bitters helps with nutrient absorption if you still having stomach issues.

I had the test done and it was negative !!! june 2023 *I have GERD, Gastritis, Erosion Esophagus ( have to watched carefully ) , Hiatal Hernia, Low Stomach Acid* I have research how to raise the acid to stomach , and I haven't had the right answer . I am taking for my stomach now, Zinc Carnosine, DGL, Slippery Elm , it seems to work for my Gut. I still have others to watch for Especially Esophagus , Hiatal Hernia AND Gerd . If anyone know how to raise Low Stomach Acid , your help is 100% appreciated. . I always give all the information I know to help others, that's my Mission, but I don't know everything, it becomes overwhelming on me. I subscribe and view the Videos and I'm still NOT getting the help I'm looking for . If you only knew how many doctors or specialist to help me with one real big issue, they all are clueless, and I am not saying this in a bad way, I am saying it to be truthful. When you have GUT issues, it's an ongoing issue.

Some chiropractors know how to work on a hiatal hernia. If you look here on RU-vid you will find the technique they use. I have had it done and it is helpful. You can even learn to do it yourself but I think it's tricky. I feel that the hernia causes all these things except for the low stomach acid which can be caused by age, stress, and h.pylori and some mineral deficiencies like zinc. I am in the same place as you. It is really awful to deal with. I have tried a ton of natural remedies and seemed to be doing better for while, until I wasn't. Eating small easily digestible meals and leaving space between meals so that food digests well is also important if you aren't doing that. I also stop eating about 4 hours before bed. Best of luck.

I had a stool test for h pylori recently but it came back undetected, but I also had pepto with a few days of submitting the stool sample which I have heard can cause a false negative test result. I’m not sure if anyone else has heard this to be true as well. I also take enzymes daily and have cinnamon in my oatmeal. Is there anything I should not take while submitting a stool test?

Stay away from rice tomatoes and peanut butter....why? First it was stay away from gluten and dairy , then it was don't eat this or that. People are suffering . It dont matter what you eat. Just follow the protocol.

If you get pain while taking Acv you should check to make sure if you are dealing with gastritis. Gastritis doesn’t do well with acidic consumption however if you have h pylori it’s more due to low stomach acid which requires an acidic environment

I failed treatment 3 times and then I found some publications from a lab in Chicago that has and H pylori antibiotic resistance panel. I guess it's the only lab in the world that can do it on a stool sample. It's American Molecular Laboratories. I was resistance to the exact antibiotics my doctor had me on. He changed the cocktail and increased the dosage on the PPI and I have been H pylori free for over 3 years.

@@terryski I had triple therapy to begin. That was Clarithromycin, amoxicillin and an antacid. I failed and for some crazy reason, my doctor thought it was a good idea to try the same treatment twice. I failed, found an article on this panel and found out I was resistant to the Clarithromycin. I went to a new GI and he ordered up Metronidazole, Rifabutin and PPI. I did read that resistance to Clarithromycin is high. I’m glad this worked because moving onto a quadruple therapy would’ve been too difficult for me.

Me too! I've had it 4 times over 10 yr period. My stomach always hurts and I'm always soo tired. I've lost over 30 pounds, gained some back then lose it again. I'm so malnourished it ruined all my teeth and thinned my hair. It's terrible. My immune system is so weak.

Maybe some organic garlic. I think one small clove (not bulb!!) a day is o.k. I know that they now say it's toxic but from my research this information came from one study in which dogs were fed an insane amount of garlic. I give it to my dog during flea season and it seems to help. He actually likes it. I also give my dog goat's milk kefir and high quality fish oil from Nordic Naturals. I am going to look into this too. There are lots of natural vets with helpful information online but I"ve never researched this topic.

Careful, though. I think too much oregano oil is what caused my gut to get so imbalanced in the first place. Also too harsh for people with gastritis which is why the doctor says it's important to do a healing phase first.

Jus been diagnosed as having H Pylori. I have Long QT syndrome so I couldn’t take the Antibiotics they gave me. I had a Heart Arrhythmia which scared me so I had to come off them. I am not taking anything right now so coming across your video is super cool. Thanks Doctor!
