As a member of RAAF 9 Squadron, Graham had various tasks involving the UH-1 Huey. In many cases the Australian crewmen were professional and avoided casualties. However, the nature of the conflict meant that there was always a present danger.

I would guess that the guy he spoke about being shot in the chest,and surviving thanks to his "chicken plate" was Wayne Scheer,who was an ADG...Gunner
