+Dave Smith Hello Dave Smith! Thank your for your comment. Hope I have more and more chances to fly on helicopters in Ukraine and create videos. Same to you - fly safe! Pavel Korsun, helicopter guide contact@ukraine-kiev-tour.com
Dear Mohammed Awawdeh! Thank you for your request. Please, let me know the country you are living, your citizenship, do you need a new or used helicopter Robinson R66 and send information on e-mail: contact@ukraine-kiev-tour.com or contact +380509369680. Pavel Korsun, Kiev helicopter guide
+Toco Labadessa Hi! Thank you very much! Great to hear that the video is interesting for pilots and in Brazil! What type of helicopter do you fly in Brazil? Pavel Korsun, helicopter guide in Kiev, Ukraine contact@ukraine-kiev-tour.com
Excellent video! I flew a R22 during my flight intro course, someday I hope to get trained on the R44 and R66. I'd also love to visit Kiev someday, beautiful city!
Hi David O'Mahony! Thank your for your comment. Helicopter Robinson R66 is certified for flights even when it snows. Take care! Pavel Korsun, Kiev helicopter guide
I hope you all in the video are ok. You and your people are the beacons of modern democracy and how you came together even with your differences and you are an inspiration to the world today! Your leader is the exact opposite of who the USA has our leader but grateful that he eventually is helping! I wished none of this happened at all! May God bless your true independence and life as a people! Stay safe from your friends in the USA 🇺🇸 🇺🇦
Hello! Nice to hear that you enjoy it. Try to make all processes of assembling clear - every step (except install of batteries). It is like educational video on helicopters) Fly safe!)
It is so amazing and fascinating to do performed this task with so much hard working and intellectual performance. Really I enjoyed so much this wonderful task.
Hello! Thank your for your comment. Hope that will be a chance to make more video about helicopters and share them with people who like to fly. I hope everyone one of you are alive and doing as well as possible of what you can. The amount of precision this takes is unreal! Hopefully you get to use that knowledge to take advantage and get your Homeland back! True American patriots that have fought for our country know how lucky we are because we get to home without having to deal with death and destruction on our own land but know how the anger would turn the USA to unstoppable rage of hate to the aggressors if it happened to us! The majority of Americans have your back beyond the media circus, but at times we forget that there are other countries that don't have the power and might of the USA unless they see first hand otherwise sadly! But God forbid USA's enemies if attacked! The BS Afghanistan withdrawal hurt us for a average lifetime of damages to our friends trust and military technology that China and now your enemies have to make! I am so extremely angry at the Afghanistan debacle, but loved the fact how we stood up, although too slow. Until the Americans started speaking about going in ourselves without the government and the threat of sadly no buffer to our NATO Allies did our government act. I can only imagine being the actual pilot who is taking it literally for its first flight. Ballot box is life changing for many! Go 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
That was a very fun build to watch! Obviously! Very well planned. And you had the right people to do the job 👍🏼 I wish I could have been part of the assembly crew. Kept wondering if that torque being applied was correct per the manufacturers drawings and specs. And I would not use a torque wrench as a “ratchet”! Run the bolt down with a RATCHET! You know how far you can go. Then! Use the torque wrench! Using a torque wrench implies that you want consistency and standardization. If you treat it as a “ratchet”, you comprise the accuracy of the torque!
Thank you for the comment! Understood the way of your thoughts and you are correct that all should be done on base of strandards made by Robinson helicopter company. In the video it showed the way of Robinson R66 helicopter assembling was made in 2015 and now new helicopters assemble with much of improvements. Wish you a nice day! Fly safe!
Hello! Thank you for your comment. I really like to make videos of helicopters, fly them and take most interesting helicopter tours around the world. On the channel there are videos of Grand Canyon, Hawaii Big Island, New York and Las Vegas helicopter tours. Here play list of most interesting helicopter tours in the world: ru-vid.com/group/PL8GipGn73-c8rCuL9MEcRrw77qXH6tSsT Hope one day to take London helicopter tour and 12 Apostles helicopter tour in south of Australia. +TIMOTHY MOFFAT Hello Tomothy Moffat! Thank your for your comment. Robinson Helicopter Company took parts of this video for their video presentation during HAI HELI-EXPO in Louisville, KY, USA that will take place Feb. 29-March 3, 2016. Pavel Korsun, helicopter guide contact@ukraine-kiev-tour.com
I will look at it again when I will bye a Robinson , I need maybe … 200 years of works for that , ahah ! I Watch your channel and I see you fly above the Duga trans-horizon radar , it's one of my favorite subject and I will thing about it if I got the chance to visit Ukrain in the next years !
You welcome to Ukraine and take part in Chernobyl helicopter tour in 2019. Duga-1 is one of the most amazing object to look from helicopter in Chernobyl Zone. Fly safe!
+Heli PadUSA Hi! Thank you! This video is done by only one camera. The model is Panasonic HC-V760. I hope to have more chances to make movies on helicopters and all of them publish on youtube. Pavel Korsun, helicopter guide in Kiev, Ukraine contact@ukraine-kiev-tour.com
Given the cost of the product and the number of times lifting was required I would thing that some form of gantry crane would be a worthwhile investment if this or another facility are still doing assembly. I would thing a 2-3 ton crane would be more than sufficient. Looking good, Robinson has come a long ways!
Hello Scott Pecora! Thank you for your comment! The assembly took place in 2015 and now all is good with crane for assembling of the helicopters. Take care and fly safe!
@@arturvoznenko3946 I am not a helicopter pilot currently. This video was made because want to show the assembling process of the helicopter in details - not like high speed movements in the regular movies. It is like educational for all who love to know what is helicopter and which parts it made of.
Costs about $1 million and gets ~6 miles per gallon. Max speed 110 kts. Range, 350 nm. Leather seats standard. All equipment, accessories, nav and instrumentation extra/optional. Almost as fast as a Honda Civic, a funny looking hole in the sky to pour money in.
if you are buying a helicopter, money is not exactly the bottom line factor. sure, a deal is a deal, but everyone knows that its going to cost you. if you want a similar end game, get a gyro plane or copter (its a play on words). much more economical end game. same general rush. much much more forgiving in an engine failure. $ 150,000 puts you in a side by side enclosed two seater type Cadillac of gyro's. you don't need avgas and still can buy a lot of it for the $850,000 you saved in the initial purchase.
Is this a one time project only, or is this a limited production line? Your country is known for having good aircraft engineering projects and qualified people, is in one such activity?
Hello Capitan! No, it is the dealer of Robinson helicopter company in Ukraine who make these assemblings for their buyers only. The leader of assembling team is fully certificated by Robinson company standards and trained in USA. Ukraine is famous because of Antonov aircrafts - An-225, An-124, An-22 and more in their line. Hard time for production line but Antoniv Airlines are key company that save Antoniv Factory for now. Hope the we open regular Antonov Factory Tours soon. Wish you a nice day and fly safe!

Hello! UR-TOY is really a big and expensive toy for owner. It is much more helicopter Robinson R44 in service than Robinson R66. All is about the cost per hour. Pavel Korsun, Kiev helicopter guide contact@ukraine-kiev-tour.com
Is this how all Robinson helos get delivered to Europe? I'd assumed it was given that you can't exactly ferry-flight an R22 via Greenland but I wasn't certain.
Hi, thank you for your comment. The cheapest way to deliver Robinson from USA to Europe is by ship and it cost around 6000 - 7000 USD per container that is good to accommodate 2 helicopters per delivery. Flight via Greenland is only in case of helicopter pilots decision to make helicopter circumnavigation or Transatlantic) Also helicopter flight via Greenland is more expensive. Hmm , maybe I don`t remember FM R-66...No - my good memory - ;) See please drive.google.com/open?id=1EYNBZnfBAdrK2QdHgwXSsvtz_OgTaJuc and FM www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&ved=0ahUKEwj_pKCKgYXZAhVNb1AKHd6xCuIQFggvMAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Frobinsonheli.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F03%2Fr66_poh_full_book.pdf&usg=AOvVaw29ofIdIDXdHNbOGL7onAnP
Not many helicopters are equipped with anti-ice systems(R-66 not equip.), aircraft in simular weather conditions use anti freezing precipitation procedure ( liquid Type I or II). So I paid attention to it in your video.
The assembling was five years ago. Now all good about the procedures and enough equipment for use to assemble new helicopters. Welcome to Kiev and Ukraine!
Hello! All helicopters that delivered abroad come to the customer in the kit to assemble. Here you could check official instructions of Robinson R66 assembling: robinsonheli.com/r66-kit-instructions/ Regarding prices - to bring Robinson R66, for example, to Europe will cost additional around 17000 USD: - Robinson R66 disassembly & crating (shipping not included) - 4900 USD - Shipping - 8000 USD - Assembling at a heliport - 4000 USD All prices are approximate and could be change depends on current date. Also the customer could take assembled helicopter from Robinson Helicopters Company and fly to Europe by the helicopter - like half of helicopter circumnavigation. The only it cost much more for the fuel and other spends compare to shipping in container by ship. If you have questions - please, ask. Pavel Korsun, Kiev helicopter guide
Thank you very much my friend. I just thought that the helicopters were delivered outside the US fully assembled, by boat for example. I'm surprised that it works this way!!
