I'm allergic to most metals used in earrings as well and when I we t to get my nose pierced they recommend I get titanium steel so I did and it is wonderful! My piercings usually take quite a while to heal but my nose healed up nicely without any keloids or infections. If you ever get another piercing I definitely suggest getting the titanium steel one 😊

The gun method is not good for cartilage nor for lobes!

I've been wanting one really bad and my dad said he will take me but now that he said yes every time I think about it my ear feels hot 😂

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm thinking of getting a regular third set in my lobes and one in my helix, but I have the same concern you did about maybe being allergic to titanium. I'm allergic to silver and other allegedly hypoallergenic stuff, so I'm seeing if they have an option for a gold piercing, because I'm just seeing titanium advertised on this particular place's site and I don't want to risk a reaction at the piercing stage :\

I've had both methods and the needle me This got my piercing infected and it really hurt 😞and when I got it done with the gun it didn't hurt at all and I've had it in now for 6 months

Getting my helix pierced tomorrow. I want a hoop and a stud. I thought about the stud in my left ear and the hoop in my right. Aside from not being able to sleep on ethier side, how stupid would it look to have both ears done?? I don’t want to look dumb I know most people just do one but I was wanting two so how bad would that look should I do it

I heard that you aren't supposed to Pierce your cartilage or anything with a hoop because it moves and it might disrupt the healing process

make sure to get it on the side you DONT sleep on it get sore for acouple weeks for me
