used ti play this at school canteen wi had a PA system & us seniors could DJ. nae bad. so I played aa mi aal school Norma Jean, Humanly, theLocust & other noisy crap. plus this song a couple o' times. I smile as I remember this. am happy.
i'm a metal fan, but Hell Is For Heroes will became forever my favourite band out of metal... i never became tired of listen this great band, sadly i only knew now that they have been split up... why only the great bands have to split up? Why?
very kool video. Has anybody noticed that if you watch carefully from 3:38 the drummer drops one of his sticks and he's continuing to play while picking it up. Surprised they didnt edit it. Great band, Great song, Great vid.
Neon Handshake is just way more emotive in my opinion that's the album of the 2 that I'd most like to choose to jump around to; it's my desert island album. However they're my favourite band so I still love Transmit Disrupt.
@cloudig Yeah Hell is For Heroes are not metal, what I said is even I being a Huge Metal fan even more now then when I right this... I love Hell is for Heroes, they are my favourite band outside metal. For me it's hard to define their style. Hell is for heores soething like Hard alternative rock with some punk rock influences lol can't really define them well, and that is the magic of Hell is for heroes, being hard to define. Found them occasionally in 2005 and never stopped listening :D
If this would mean that they are considering being back on track would be awesome, they came here to Portugal but they weren't announced in any place... would love to saw one time Hell is for Heroes
I would call them a Post-hardcore shoegaze. As an American, I can definitely hear its roots in shoegaze, as they're an English band... whereas american post-hardcore has its roots in grunge; that was our big movement.
amazing band :D so underated its not even funny tho. bands such as The Wombats, One Night Only. Dont deserve their money. You need good music like hell is for heroes
fuck yeah man!! youre right!Incubus has been doin the same shit and they sell miliions and it makes me think its all bout promotion...im so glad im gonna see them tomorrow here in madrid
nah it was alright... but transmit disrupt is so much more unique and shows a band daring to try out new stuff. I liked some songs of Neon Handshake like I Can Climb Mountains or Slow Song (I know^^) but overall it was a bit too poppy for me and also the singers voice... his expression was just a bit over the top at that time imho.
I never really liked 'The Neon Handshake', but everything after that is brilliant. Along with Million Dead, HIFH were/are the band that "should've been massive..."
