They could’ve brought him back if he actually acted like a hellified soldier that wasn’t just human. At least if his attacks didn’t rely on him running away to get range.
There's this one Possessed Soldier in the biolab in the Argent facility or whatever that just appears and always walks down the stairs without doing anything else when you appear. Man does not care.
Yup! They do a distance check in-between shots to make sure they aren't standing right next to the player, since their role is more of a backline sniper than a close range one like the soldier. Fun fact: the same behaviour can be seen in Ultrakill's Strays, who back away from you before shooting. Ultrakill's enemy abilities were inspired by Doom 2016 and Eternal
@@Spiderella3959 that's pretty neat to read about, it makes total sense considering they dont attack as much as Blaster and Shield Soldiers. ive seen a lot of people talk about Ultrakill but i cant say ive gotten around to it. might have to check it out sometime nice PFP btw
@@eymn-13 indeed, it is very interesting ^^ Ultrakill is a very fun game by the way, very fast paced and takes a lot of inspiration from the new Doom games, but does something unique to the formula. The flow is amazing, the levels are short, but replayable because of that. It is not for everyone though cuz the game is *fast* and the music is kinda out there xD. But then again, you can adjust everything ab the game's difficulty down to how fast the enemy animations are, so the experience is very customizable. Also tyvm! I like my pfp as well XD Yours is cool too!
Seems harmless enough, but these guys will fuck your day in an instant if your low on health and their far away. Also if your speed running, they’ll eat up all your timesaves by walking away and being impossible to find.
It is very good indeed! Their navigation is pretty impressive, along with the dynamic animations that blend into eachother based on what the AI is doing, which allows them to move smoothly and aids the flow of combat very well, which was greatly improved in Eternal with its faltering system
