Imagine an actual Amish person seeing the buggy wheels on this challenger and nobody back home believes him because he didn't have a phone to take a picture
Well, the thing is, the more spokes you have, the quicker the weight transfer so the less stress there is on the rim. Being aluminum, they're no different than a set of giant allows, albeit with a tiny contact patch. And actually, the fact that they're so narrow is what allows them to survive burnouts. Normally, due to the amount of grip, the engine and drive-train have to force the tires to spin, while the tires are trying to grip the pavement and sending the reaction back into the drive-train. This is why axles and some wheels break, because the torque and resistance are fighting each other and they'll usually find the weakest element and destroy it. With a contact patch so small, there is almost no resistance, only the torque spinning the wheel, so there is no stress on the hub or axles, and ultimately, none on the wheel either. As far as fun is concerned, this is the ultimate combination, as you can do huge burnouts with minimal effort from a stand-still. The disadvantages, obviously, are that the wheel size requires way more room for turning, there is no way to quickly accelerate so every increase in speed must be smooth and incremental and, lastly, braking is very dangerous since there is not enough grip keeping the car stuck to the road (so you end up having to go almost as slow as a real buggy anyway, to avoid plowing into whatever's in front of you or sliding off the road in a corner). Needless to say, there is no way of driving on anything other than pavement or hard-packed earth, as the wheels barely have any weight distribution so they would immediately sink in soft earth or mud and bottom the whole car out.
💯 👍 people be bitching about “ohhh u got 2/3 inch spacers they are not gonna last” 🤣 🤣 bitch when they are Whistling diesel proof you know they’re good
@@SpeedGGonzalez if you're car guy and weekend wrencher your local shops know you and there is always something more you need lol and those guys aren't in the mood to search the store lol
Oh shit, my grandpa is in this video😂 7:07 the old man holding the camera with the girl next to him is my grandpa and cousin at the front doors of Kroger lmao
I was having a really bad week with work etc. I’ve seen a few of your vids b4, but got stuck in a rabbit hole, and OMG, I couldn’t stop laughing. Monster max on the Atlantic was a start, but the Hellcat H&B had me rolling. 😂 loved the auto parts store guy that was like “OMG, what now”. Made my night. Thanks, and will forever be watching your new videos.
All of this video is totally american. Imagine driving on a public road with these wheels in central EU, police would come, shut down the car and take away your keys in under 5min.
Great point, I'm probably the only monetized channel in my town. Kind of hard for the locals to watch RU-vid on their flip phones and 1 meg internet service.
Started watching because of the respect I have for you looking for your father's skid steer ,2 months ago my truck n trailer was stolen off job site n it's costing me everything so trust me I know how he felt , then I saw you have some halarious stuff off ,nice work brither
@@MrDaltonayers I made an " ironic " comment hence the lol . I am well aware that it is common knowledge but thank-you for the sarcasm and pointing that out .
It is just so much fun you can have with four buggy wheels, I am seventy four years old and I have not laughed so hard in years. This is just the stuff we did when we were in our twenties,I am sure glad you boys are keeping the spirit of good old small town fun alive.
@@kleinfeicht Yes, those wheels would have locked up and the car would try it's best and those strong wheels would be challenged by other great forces and the result would be either be.... 1. Shattered spokes. 2. Motionless wheels worn in to semi-circles. 3. A long slide. 4. ABS works so well it actually stopped the car in a short distance without shattering wooden wheels.
I love your channel the hellcat was very ignorant I made a Amish buggy with Harley Davidson mag wheels the Amish teenager loved the rig black mags with hydraulic disc brakes and good quality rubber
People in the future are going to use our Sci Fi literature and movies for fashion. "Look I decorated my space ship to look like the Millennium Falcon!"
@@josezepeda5087 even if you drive a hellcat "fast" on the street it's not even 1/5 what the car is capable of. I'd definitely buy a used hellcat. It's the track people you have to worry about.
The best part is.... we can all no where he lives... it’s called a P.O. Box😂 also you can look it up it’s all public record... not to mention how many corn fields do you see big ass lifted trucks jumping and rolling around being destroyed😂
Maybe a stalking fanboy? It’s pretty clear he’s driving around Noblesville, Indiana; however, to know EXACTLY where his home is located is kinda creepy. Maybe he purposely included this film of ‘creepy guy’ as future proof of the stalker’s first contact. There’s another RU-vidr whose stalker came to his front door, after traveling across a few states. Guy had been threatening/harassing RU-vidr for months, so a gun was shown, warning shot fired in the air, and now RU-vidr was arrested and is facing a lawsuit.
Let me get 1 of these cars man, I’ve been without a car for 5 months and could use a car to help me get to work and it would help to have a car with my 3 year old instead of having to Uber . Would love one of the cars you tore up. Can’t get enough of your videos brother!
I think the coolest part about this video is the smile it brought to all the strangers in town, like out of no where you see this, you can't help but smile lol. I bet this made some people's day
Yeah, I just commented on that. I love how wild he is but then he takes a while to visit with people. And he is never snarky or mean to them. I really appreciate how respectful he is.
