Pro-tip on wiring harness and labeling the wires for each circuit. Get a label marker, Avery or Brady. Get the wire labels and print out each circuit on the wire. Makes life a lot easier and helps with diagnosis later.

Drill new holes on the opposite end and tap them for the pcv valves. Then just plug the existing holes.

I say keep your current valve cover and fill from the front port. But I would get the angled oil filter adapter so you can run a the bigger filter to get the most oil filtration that you can.

Definitely do that for the oil fill just take the funnel with you in case something unforeseen happens and you need to add oil when you take it on the trip!!!??? You got me amazed with the wiring and how it’s turned out so far!!!! Keep up the amazing job on that HELLRAM!!!!!!!

Yeah I’ll do that for now and probably modify this cover by filling the old hole and welding a new fill cap in the correct spot

@@boostedmotorsports2 that's what I was going to suggest. I assume those are aluminum. I'm sure you could find someone locally who's good at tig welding. Just have them cut the original fill hole out, match the size out of the front, cut it out, swap the pieces, and weld them back in. That way you can retain the factory fill cap.

Oil cap solution. You could always add some dash 10 or maybe even 12 bungs and run to a catch can.. I guess you need to look at the inside and see how it is baffled and if it would work. I know this takes away the stock look you are trying for though. Just my nonsense input of possible solution.

Long enough. I have a 90 sitting here but the 90 is prone to way more issues I’d rather burn up this 70 and then put a fully built 70 in it

That’s an option as well. I’ll just modify the covers after MOPARTY when I have more time. Only have a few weeks to get this truck running before driving it 12 hours 😳

I dont think swapping the valve covers will make that much of a difference as far as the pcv sucking oil. It's not like you'll be pulling 3G on launch. I think youll be fine swapping over for oil cap accessibility. After all, they are baffled.
