Ah, yes. Because running does NOT cause another group to be aware of you. Totally. They see you running, they think “Well, Gee. Those fellow bots have everything under control. No need for me to join in.” Totally not “Kill steal! Kill steal!”
at least our sacrifice was worth something literally me every fuckin mission i redeploy my dead team in the extracion point ( i had no reinforcements i had to hold 4 minutes to revive my team and they left me and and the last guy i was tring to riveve ( i called the extraccion but i dint got in wen u get in the pelican leaves in 20 seconds i revived 2 guys tis two guys rushed to the pelican and wile i was calling in the last guy they leaved
I bought this game yesterday. Joined some randos and within a hour of playing I was dropping into a difficulty 6 on Turing. I was baptized in Bile fellow Patriots and somehow pulled through. FOR SUPER EARTH!
I think we failed it because a lot of people didn’t realize (including me and everyone I played with) that a campaign meant an entire planet, and that order had to be completed by the entire player base
@@trikcen5329 Also completing defense operations are a pain in the ass on higher difficulties cause saving the science team feels impossible on anything above hard cause of constant tanks and hulks. I think it is just bugged because on the mission select it says you have 40 minutes, but the actual mission lasts 15 so it probably crams 40 minutes worth of enemies into less than half the time.
@@goman2650what you actually have to do is land a bit away from the objective and convince 3 players to agro dropships to their location while 1 player uses stealth armor to hit buttons at the objective. Its super effective and what i convince teams to do everytime. I play on diff 7 Even got my two buds that were on lvl 5 to win with this strat on hard
2:54 This right here is the best. Whenever I watch a "top funny moments in helldiver" or whatever video I rewatch the clips just to see the explosion flare in the webcams.
3:55 i had this one game where i kid you not bro did not fire a *SINGLE SHOT* 💀 yes i checked the stats and let me repeat *NOT A SINGLE SHOT* *N O T O N E*
Why do the memes keep treating the Terminids like they are fluff? Talk to me after you have experienced countless chargers and multiple bile titans at the same time.
the works are already collecting a complete painass combination for 4 difficulty, and what is happening on the escort, where you do not have time to stop the flow and collect a critical mass - fear and horror. U can run around 2-3 chargers, but 15 berserkers running on you, when the surrounding weather is red bullet hell i think more terrifying. Also rocket boys one shot.
because the Automatons are SIGNIFICANTLY more threateaning. on the Terminid front there are FOUR enemy types that can kill you Bile Titan (superheavy)- only able to spit at you if you stop running, slower than you even if you run with 0 sprint, spit attack can be disabled if you break the sacs Charger (heavy) - an actual threat, able to outmaneuver you with a charge if you don't manage to dodge, hard to survive 2-3 while you're alone Hunter (light)- slow you down so that chargers can kill you, flank and attack with decent damage Stalker (structure/heavy) - basically a hunter that moves faster than you, does good damage but sticks out because of it's invisibility (only spawns with specific structure) everything else is negligible that dies easily and doesn't pose a threat unless you stand still notice that ALL OF THESE cannot kill you if you're more than 20m away and running notice that ALL OF THESE (other than the hunter) are heavies, meaning that they don't get spawned in as often as the fluff. if you die to these, you **made a mistake** and paid for it with a life. a few railgun shots/stratagems will make quick work of these heavies. MEANWHILE on the Automaton front, the following are able to 1shot/kill you in moments: all hulks (superheavy) all 3 tanks (superheavy) Cannon Tower (structure) Rocket Devastators (heavy) Rocket bots (light) All of these enemies can kill you from the moment they notice you exist if you're unlucky enough to get hit by their attacks. if you die to these, your shield backpack was **on cooldown** while you were unlucky enough to have line of sight with one of these.
The difference between terminids on helldive and robots on helldive is night and day. I say this as a certified level 40 Death Captain with basically everything unlocked.
Starting to think this 'Bugs easy, bots hard" meme is a Bot PSYOP to scare off new Divers We have a blast fighting the clankers, but trying to sprint away from endless hordes of bugs all rushing/slowing/bashing you about, but your stamina is drained, you're out of ammo, and you can't stop to reinforce your dead squadmates or call down stratagems.... No bueno. Y'a'll have fun scrapin' bug guts out of your teeth Me and my boys got oil to spill! *Sets his wrist computer to play 'Fortunate Son' and steers the SES "Wings of Liberty" back towards Malevelon system*
@@failegion7828 for me its the diversity of attack styles the bots offer. The bugs just rush rush rush. Rush is easy to handle until it isn't - I.E. your magazine runs dry and your stamina is empty or close to it. I Probably need to change my tactics to include more area denial strategems I dunno.. I just prefer fighting the bots.
I swear, one of my friends is just an explosion magnet. We ran a challenging mission and all got through with 1 death each. They had 7. Almost all of them were from mortar shells or eagle strikes.
0:40 Not gonna lie, there was this one time where I kept accidentally killing my team with my eagles. But the thing is they kept diving into the shits even if I tossed them far away, we only had like 2 reinforcements left by the time we got the hell outta there, couldn't even do all the outposts or sub-objectives 😭
@6:18 We NEED a 'Dance, Dance, HellDive' machine on our Super Destroyers to go along with Strategem Hero. Have all the moves linked to the codes for Strategems in the same way!
I got a feeling there will be a third front worse than the bots soon. Or maybe in a few months. Or maybe a year, idk but there was a third faction at HellDivers one, and they are just prob late to party.
I never played Helldivers 1, but apparently the third faction is the illuminate which are high tech aquatic aliens that are suspiciously similar to the Illuminate of the Supreme Commander universe lol. Anyway I hope they are the third because they look awesome (according to the wiki)
i like shooting bugs more, not that i hate the bots its fun going against something that can fire back but something bout shooting a bug n seeing the fleshy bits rip apart n the sound of screeching is music to my ears, when im playing with friends its either or n always a good time, one of my favorite moments was when i deployed a sentry n it was doing good then i just had to utter the words "atleast it hasn't killed anyone this time" soon as i said that my friend got beamed by the sentry, 10/10 game
Dude Malevolen Creek is crazy. Like im running by a canon turet and i look on the map and think aight there is nothing there except the turret. I throw the railcanon strike and it targets something else and not the canon and than the canon just turns towards me
Bro I was like, maybe level 10 and my buddy decided to take me on an operation on difficulty 6 (Suicide difficulty I think) and it was NOT sunshine and rainbows man *cries*
@@superC1266 @superC1266 Alright so its not what one would call "full stealth" but it beats having to constantly expand ammo on swarms of automatons. Gear: Defender smg, p19 redeemer, incendiary grenade. Use all guns in their semi fire options, both guns are pretty accurate and in the case of the defender you can two shot almost anything in the head, except the damn chainsaw guys for some reason. Armor: Trailblazer scout(you can use the first scout armor as well if you're too low, but trailblazer has more stamina regen and speed. This armor allows you to basically get close and weave in between patrols pretty easily and when you blow up an objective allows you to hightail it out of there. Stratagem: Eagle strike, orbital laser, railgun and if possible (due to some challenges) autocannon turret. Eagle strike will allow you to bomb outposts and destroy the fabricator, if you're not interested in collecting sample you bomb then move out. Orbital is for the bigger bases, those that have more then the one fabricator or might have the laser turrets. It will make quick work of most of the base, the rest will just be you mopping up. Railgun is a must because anything that has armor, hulks, tanks, walkers, devastators can pretty much be taken out easy by it. The tank might be the trickiest but if you can have it alone, just run around it and stick to its butt, unload two or three shots of fully critical railgun and it will blow up, careful for the blast radius. The autocannonturret is pretty good to have for distraction. If you need to get somehwere critical in a base, simply launch the turret in another direction and it will cause most units to go after it. For some reason the automatons might not fire a flare for help because its just the cannon and it will pretty much obliterate them all. Most of the playthrough is you running from outpost to outpost, objectives and specials as you clear the map. You never stand your ground unless really cornered, eagle strikes regen quick so can be used in those sticky situations. Since you're alone you can just mostly run and the automaton have trouble keeping up, unlike the damn bugs that have stalkers and hunters. For extraction, just trigger the beacon, find where the ennemy is coming from and just head to the opposite end as far as you can and hide prone. Send a turret down if you need the extra distraction, but if you destroyed all the outpost the bots will be mostly coming from one direction only, head for the beacon then after not firing and their aggro running out will file out and leave the spawn. Once extract comes in, run in and boom done, if you have access to stratagems bomb the area to give you the opening.
