I agree. I only use it in 3rd person and its a GOAT. Cant even count how many times I saved our entire team from shamefull death. Also paired with plasma shotty for stagger/AOE its mint.
ADS with the diligence is amazing for making long range snipes reliably. I keep mine at 200 for diligence and AMR. DCS can one shot most devistators if you engage them at range. And it is pretty good at not aggroing baddies to you from range as well
@ck9395 oh I agree fully. I mainly do it for fun when solo diving, not because it’s the best loadout, but a fun change of pace. Half the time it’s just to take out a sentry then get in throw an eagle air strike and get out. And even though I have it on 200 it’s mainly just to make the devastator heads bigger so they’re easy to hit. I still do most of my fighting at around 50m
Anyone interested in this build i slightly disagree with Takibo's choices. Counter sniper is great now. Go first person and one shot everything in the head, AMR for hulks, striders, and factory striders, and bring the grenade pistol instead of Senator for factory vents. Shield gen like he said is good and it works really well if you have the red light armor that lets you bring 6 stun grenades and better aim when crouched and prone. Takibo if you see this maybe give that a try? Good video, cheers man!
Ill be honest with you Takibo i stopped watching you over the weekend cause the game left a bad taste in my mouth with the shit going on. Its nice to be back though now i can try to be you again and get creamed as usual.
Why did you stop corner peeking everything? There was that one video you did about corner peeking with the arc thrower. I thought you learned how to fight bots. But aside from that video you keep taking fights just out in the open. You should really apply that corner peeking mentality to every bot fight. Right now your positioning is very bug diver. You don’t need heavy or medium armour. You don’t need a shield pack. You just need to not stand out in the open when you take fights. You could be really good against bots if you changed a few habits.
BS, RG, stun grenades and grenade pistol with smg, heavy armor with explosion resistance been my absolute favorite for a long time and can't find more fun kit.
Agreed on flinching. I think heavy armor could be helped with this as well. The heavier the armor, the less you should flinch and be thrown by explosions imo. Atm mobility outweights any benefit heavy armor provides because why tank enemy attacks when you can just outrun it.
Nice revenge kill dropping on that heavy devastator. ShieldPack/Sickle/Grenade Pistol/AMR is my fav bot loadout. I suck at aiming the Grenade Pistol into fabricator vents
Diligence CS now oneshots all devastators though, which the Scorcher doesn't. Only thing Scorcher does better is against Scout striders. And if you still want stagger then you have Dominator.
It’s okay. I’d much rather run a plasma punisher for trash/scout striders, senator for zerkers, and autocannon for everything else. Airstrike, 380, and laser with medium explosion armor. Very well-rounded.
I enjoy your positivity, and in alot of ways your almost TOO GOOD to properly review some weapons for the average player. But you always preface your takes with mentioning your perspective comes from solo play. Keep on keeping on!
I’m relatively new to Helldivers, your content is awesome, really helps me in my own gameplay, especially when playing with friends and I feel like peeling off to go complete some side objectives whilst they concentrate on the primary, keep it up mate 👌 if I ever make a YT channel, I’d defo collab with you, there is no need for shade with other YT channels, shouldn’t be a rivalry like you say ❤️
I’m loving the new DCS. It one shots devastators up to 125m away if you hit the head. I’ve been pairing it with the Laser Cannon and Jump Pack, as the Laser covers for the big stuff better than the AMR and the Jump Pack enables me to get high ground so I can snipe to my heart’s content. I imagine that the AC would also pair well with the DCS if not having a backpack isn’t a big deal. Watching your gameplay, I think you would benefit from going prone more. It allows you to better manage the recoil and sway of both snipers, and it shrinks your profile, making it harder for bots to hit you at range. Play stealthily, pick your battles, and engage at range. Oh, and have good trigger discipline. It’s wild how much the enemies rely on being shot at to detect you. Edit: I agree that if you’re taking the AMR, the DCS is kinda redundant. The DCS is functionally a baby AMR for your primary slot, so it’s best to pair it with something else.
Hey I was running this exact setup since yesterday and it's extremely powerful. I was pleasantly surprised with the rewarding headshots. Running solo through 8 was a breeze, although I couldn't manage extraction due to the sheer amount of rockets and aimbot Devastators.
Ballistic shield is a nice option if your team can delete anything with rockets for you while you soak up laser fire. But shield generator is never a good option in my experience against bots. It gets taken down instantly, so you're staggered anyway, increases your hitbox, resulting in rockets that would've flown over your head to explode... And that's without comparing to what other backpacks have to offer (essentially jetpack, autocannon and rocket launchers)
Wym??? AMR runs amazingly well with CS! For two reasons specifically: CS is basically a quieter AMR so that’s good for stealth as well as the fact that you can switch to CS when you wanna stay in sniping range but don’t wanna waste AMR ammo on troopers or 1-2 devs that are easy pickings
This is basically my setup. Im primarily a solo player, or was till the patrol spawn mixup. That said, this plays quite well in a group and is downright impressive when u truly master it. Ive gotten quite a few compliments from rando groups running it. I use amr/countersnipe/grenade pistol/ shield pack, medium armor with engineering (usually, sometimes light) the other 2 are usually orbit laser and airstrike, but those are basically flex spots.
OhDough's earlier videos were riddled with inaccuracies, poor testing, and high sodium clickbaiting. He's much better at testing now but the rest hasn't changed. Don't mind it, your gameplay is excellent and I like your vibe a lot more. Just keep doing you.
I've been taking Counter Sniper on bug dives with nice results. It takes out medium bugs, I bring LMG for the small things, and Eagle strikes for big things. It's feeling balanced.
Why didnt you use the AMR to take out the jammer towards the end? Doesn't it blow up fabricators like the autocannon? Or am i just faded and remembering wrong? I haven't really ran the AMR in a while
Counter sniper trivializes devastators so hard. I constantly find myself at super kong ranges headshotting missile devastators when i normally think i wouldn't.
Hey man I think there are couple of thing you are missing out: diligence sniper can 1 shot devastator with headshot, and 1 shot body shot pretty consistently with small unit. 2, with that in mind and that you don't wear a shield, you should not engage the enemy in close range. 3 with factory strider, what you can do is take out the 2 miniguns and go under it shooting it's belly, it would take 1 or 2 magazines max to take it out.
I wish the game showed the stats of the support weapons to better compare them vs each other and primarys. This loadout is a prime example. Obviously the AMR is the better sniper rifle, but I would like to see the stats. Great content as always bro!
CS has two weaknesses. Chainsaw zerkers and the two legged striders. You're generally better off eirh a plasma jar or scorcher. That being said i have fun with rhe ca and rake it ehen i know I'm with a good team.
Great video and showcase to make multiple builds work! If you take the scorcher instead of the erupter, would you use a grenade pistol for fabricators additional to it or would you keep the senator?
man I dont know whats up with this hell dive difficulty. You got barely any bot drops ever and they had so many possibilities to do it. It is a easy version of hell dive, which is weird I dont know how people get these. Like lol when you turned the corner and there were 10 devastators.....none of them even shot you and they had like a good 4 seconds to do so lol.
I never run the shield backpack with the amr but i also only use it in squad play and mainly stay in the back to support the fire fights and call out heavies when the squad is engaging the enemy, also i never enter the objectives when running amr just keep an eye over the squad to keep them safe
As someone who hasn't unlocked scorcher yet I love the Countersniper... one shoting Devastators in the face is so satisfying and ad clear is also made easy
Hey man, I heard some people were trying to start beef with you, don't let it get to you. Don't engage with them just let your content speak for you. You are pretty good at what you do and don't need underhanded tactics like that to pull views or engagement. Nothing good can come out from doing things like that. Keep what you are doing, don't change a thing, you have a good thing going so keep it up man
maybe give the diligence cs another shot on bots next time you have a chance, 1 taps all flavors of deistators in the head, 200m scope setting is killer, I really think its a standout in the current patch, Ive been running d cs, rail gun safe, gernade pistol, stuns, eagle air strike and shield gen, heavy armor feels very well rounded vs bots in high diff solo. It's crazy I always saw you and ohdough as equals if anything like oh these two are uploading full gameplays that I enjoy but idk if he was being satirical or not but it was weird he called you a bad clickbaiter Also, that audio fix is genius I can't believe I never thought of that but it always bothers me lol
The monitor crosshair is clutch asf tho. When u get used to it u can get some pretty good reactions too. Makes it so much more fun as well. I’ve been using it w the ballistic shield w the knight on burst lately. Different playstyle but fun
I find it very interesting that you always use the scopes at minimum zoom. I always found that higher zooms were extremely helpful when going for precise shots like hulk eyes or devestator heads.
@@IainDoherty51 i learned to adjust but 100m is my way to go, only last problem shoting moving target with this small disalignment still annoy me, the most vs devastator that should take one hit, they tank the first bullet most of the time because the hitbox is small
I agree, AMR and DCS kinda fill the same role. I’ll take the DCS vs bugs w a stalwart and EAT. Just fyi, the AMR can down the Factory Strider pretty well if you’re not under heavy fire elsewhere, just a few shots to the two chin mounted guns, then run up on it and dump a few mags to the underbelly. I feel the bots aim has been improved DRASTICALLY int eh last patch. Usually I had time to be out on open and aim a bit... not anymore. Also, I feel like Hulks have gotten much MUCH faster. They come at you like a freight train.
I use AMR with arc-12 against bugs. The main problem are bile titans and chargers. I recommend adding stun nades, grenade pistol, 500 kg, EATs, and rover. The plasma shotgun might be another good choice since you can used them to shoot the shoulder of bile titans. Using the plasma shotgun should require you to use fast light armor and jump if a hunter comes too close to avoid AOE self-damage.
